Services includes having a file with your name on it to track progress of healing, past piercings, etc. She was able to educate me on what was being done wrong with past piercers given my body's anatomy. She gives services tailored to you & your body not just any old standardize piercing. (If you're a match you're a match, but if not it's possibly the anatomy of the area but you'll know why). She typically runs on an appointment only schedule leaving short wait times and a clean & sterile environment. Not your typical waiting area of 5-6. One always lied and one always told the truth and they guarded two doors. I had to remove my simple stud and ring jewelry, I'd had them for 40+ years since the punk rock days, prior to a surgery. After not reinstalling my jewelry for 6+ weeks due to lack of anyone to assist me the holes covered over (slightly) with new skin. Kala said to just come in, no appointment necessary. I went in and he was VERY nice and professional. Kala told me my jewelry was "costume" and that I should replace them with professional titanium versions. I didn't mind paying for new jewelry, I was tired of how hard it was to remove and reinstall the old ones. He fixed me up in no time, for a very low price, for jewelry and service. I cannot recommend a better shop in Las Vegas.

I've got tongue,…read moresurface bars, tragus, forward helix, conch, neck dermal, spiral helix (I'm probably missing some), and most recently flew from Hilo, HI to Vegas and got a vertical labret. Main reason I will always go to Kala is how sterile he is when piercing. He washed his hands and put new gloves on at least 5x while prepping my vertical labret. He sterilizes jewelry right in front of you using an autoclave. Also, he is very upfront when it comes to his professional opinion if the piercing is possible and/or if it would look nice with your anatomy. After Kala left Hawaii, I made the mistake of getting an Ashley piercing by another piercer in Hilo & just wow, worst experience ever. My bruising was sooooooo bad, Never again! We were given different payment instructions multiple times, even after payment had already been sent. Instead of handling the confusion professionally, the communication became rude and disrespectful. Customers should not be insulted or blamed over a payment issue, especially when screenshots and proof were provided. The tattoo work may be good, but professionalism and customer service matter too. By the end, the whole situation felt unorganized and unprofessional.

He also pierced with a smaller gauge than what is normal for this piercing and used what looks like a lobe earring with a butterfly backing instead of jewelry that supports healing/swelling better. I am really disappointed that this piercing was done so abruptly and that I trusted them to use the right jewelry.
