- DO NOT BUY A NEW RAM TRUCK - I lease a 2020 ram Laramie through Chrysler/jeep/ram Coon rapids. I began having a issue with the truck starting in November of 2021. I called the service center and they told me they were booked out for several weeks, I then (after several attempts) got the truck to start. Again in January I had another time when the vehicle wouldn't start, called again about service and they were still booked out with no rentals available.. I kept trying to get the truck to start and eventually it started. Note - this is a failed "starter" on the truck, starters going on can be very inconsistent. Starting sometime then working fine for extended periods of time. A starter should work for 100,000 miles normally. I didn't know the starter was my issue at this time but I knew something was wrong so I figured I would wait til it just didn't work to bring it in. Today 3/4/22 the vehicle hasn't started all day after getting to work and now wont start at all. I called Chrysler Coon rapids and they said that the vehicle isn't under warranty 37,500 however this issue accrued well before 36,000 miles but due to how booked out or behind their service department is I'm now over the warrant. I do not believe this is my fault. Had service been on top of things the vehicle would have been serviced in November. They still are booked out 21 days and have no loaner cars. This in my eyes is the definition of bad business practices. I now have a vehicle that I have to pay for that should have been fixed under warranty due to it being a failed part (starters should go out at 33,000 miles). This is a flaw in the starter and these circumstances are due to a business being behind schedule. I do not feel as a customer I should be held accountable for Chrysler Coon rapids problems. read more

Bought a new 2018 Jeep renegade last year & that process and our salesman was good - the service department is horrible though. In June of this year when the car had under 10,000 miles all of the chimes stopped working. I called to make an appointment & was told they do not do weekend appointments or appointments at night. When I told them I work normal business hours & just started my job and don't have PTO she put me into a manager voicemail to see what they could do - never got a call back. Saw they offer weekend appointments online and called back, got one scheduled. After an hour appointment they tell me it was my instrument cluster "we had to order you a part, your car is outside to the left". No time estimate how long that would be or any other info. A month goes by no word so I call to check on the part. They put the phone down on the counter for half an hour while they looked for my order & had no news. I left my number to get a call when they found out & never got a call back. My mom (who lives close to the dealer) went in person to get some answers and they said a part was set to ship 8/14. Still no word so she sent an email to check and I guess now they need to reorder the part and will see about getting me a loaner some time this week. No explanation what happened to the first order or why a Jeep dealership can't get a part in for 3 months. TLDR; the service department seems to be an unorganized mess. Tons of wasted time trying trying to get communication to get a brand new car fixed. It has been a 3 month process for what should be a fairly simple fix with no fix in sight and a lot of the communication we have received has come off pretty rude. read more

I really want to like and use this dealership because its close to me, but they continue to disappoint every chance i give them. When i was trying to buy my 2022 ram 1500 i worked with Jake and John, one told me to write a blank check and he would pick one for me, and proceeded to hand me off to other sales associates, the other double booked my appointment with another customer, and failed to respond to emails so i gave up. I ended up buying from jeff belzers literally the same day i walked in for the first time because they actually cared to help me. Now i try to schedule service with coon rapids, even for a simple oil change they are booked out 6-7 weeks on the scheduling app with no weekend appointments. I booked with luther only 2 weeks out. I purchased a new Jeep Cherokee and have had all my service, oil changes, and tire rotations done at Coon Rapids Jeep. Good service with regular maintenance but not so much with other issues. First my navigation system stopped working and it took two trips to service department and a few phone calls just to determine the radio/navigation needed to be replaced. Then in Sep, the PTU (power train unit) stopped working and needs to be replaced. First the part was coming the end of Oct, then Dec 6, then Dec 16 and today I was told Jan 6. Each time I contacted them, I received a prompt reply, only to be told another new date. Each time told it's a national shortage, it's on a boat, etc. I'd rather be told it will be 4 months, then just adding another month to the delivery date, every time I call. I can drive my Vehicle but the 4wd does not work and we already have snow, which is why I bought a 4wd vehicle. I am very disappointed and hope it's not delayed AGAIN! read more

This dealership has to be the biggest rip off artists in town. We purchased an extended warranty for our Pacifica because during the sales process the "sales manager" tells customers that by doing so everything that goes wrong besides general maintenance will be covered. What you don't know is that the warranty is not from the dealership but from a 3rd party that denies most claims. Even with the warranty the service department charges you a $250 PER ITEM that you want to have looked at and should your warranty claim actually get paid there is a deductible. Ive never heard of a "warranty" of any kind having a deductible. It's a total scam. The "sales manager" flat out lies to customers right to their faces knowing full well that he is WAY overstating the warranty so he can tack on an extra $2700 to the final purchase price and you will never recoup anything without paying more when you do have problems because of the rip off deductibles and the per items fees. A simple free repair covered under warranty should not cost $750 or more. In effect it really is a way to ensure you come back for service to this dealership thinking you are covered but you end up paying for it anyway or they make it so difficult to get service you don't want to come back. Either way you don't get what you paid for so take my advice and don't ever purchase the warranty from the dealer. IT'S A TOTAL SCAM. read more

1. Horrible communication which seems to be a common problem here. 2. Had an appointment set-up but when I got there they told me they couldn't do the repairs until the next day. Two weeks later I was finally able to get my Wrangler. 3. No greeting when arriving. Had three separate visits to Service during this ordeal and was never once greeted. 12 service advisors sitting at their desks and not one reached out or even said "be with you in a minute." 4. Service finally called back only after I called to get a status and asked questions having nothing to do with repairs needed. Just my opinion, as they didn't give an explanation for the question, but felt as if they were trying to find a way to void my warranty. The compass on 2017 Dodge Challenger quit working correctly, and while it was still under factory warranty I brought it in for service. they did some software updates, talked to Dodge Tech support and the ended up ordering a new radio. all together they had my baby for 3 business days, they called me and let me know what the problem was and that a new radio could take 3-5 days to get in.. they kept me informed and called to let me know it was ready.. they contacted me the next day to confirm I was happy with the service. Which I was.. this was my first experience with them.. and as needed I will be bringing my baby back for service. read more

Jeep Still refuses to warranty their work. I'm driving a vehicle that doesn't work properly. I brought it to a different shop as Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram refused to test drive it with me and two other shops were able to duplicate this issue right away. Their theory is it's an engine shudder which can be caused by loose or broken engine mounts (my engine could fall out), spark plugs that aren't distributing power evenly, or any number of miscellaneous critical engine failures. This engine was put in less than a month ago and I am being refused service. This Jeep is a lemon, but because they took six months to do anything about it, they say I cannot go through their FCA department to report it as a lemon. Basically I'm driving a car where I could get into a severe accident in if it's what the other shops have suggested and Jeep is okay with that. So if I get into an accident or my engine falls out and someone gets hurt, Jeep and Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be to blame. Since they refuse to offer an solutions I will continue to post every interaction with them in hopes that it stops someone else from getting stuck with a lemon vehicle with a company who thinks it's okay to not warranty their work and allow someone to drive an unsafe vehicle. Why you go to the service department at a car dealership? Premium service? OEM parts? Warranty? Rental car? You can forget that at Coon Rapids Chrysler Jeep. Best way to describe my experience, well just Google "Seinfeld - The Car Reservation". Unfriendly and incompetent staff . I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for service, had a confirmation no issues setting up the appointment just like any other dealership I have been to. I arrive on time and when checking in I am told they don't have my appointment. When I pressed back that I had a scheduled appointment time and showed the confirmation number they didn't bother to even look into it further. I was just told it is a glitch in the system and apparently an ongoing one that no one has bothered to fix. Even know my appointment was in the computer system hence the confirmation number, no one called, no one apologized, I wasn't even offered a chance to reschedule. Poor leadership and training to staff members. A simple acknowledgement of a mistake would have been fine. When I asked what the point of a reserved appointment was, I was told by another staff member when leaving that something they get backed up. For how much a dealership charges you would like they would value customer service and most dealerships do that I have dealt with but just a giant fail all around. I dropped off my wrangler for fuel pump replacement on a thursday. Apparently they had trouble finding the part. Friday they called to say I had a bigger problem. "brake lines are leaking". It brakes fine i said,don't fix it. I will drive it home, I live close by. A little over a week later the jeep was fixed. 1. Communication problem...... Came to pick it up Friday, "were bringing the jeep around to you" waited 10 min, went inside again asked if someone is getting it. "yes,someone is bringing it right now", waited 10-15 mins, went inside again and hounded them. still waited another 10 min..I just went out in the lot and found it myself, still parked. The Brake pedal had zero pressure, went all the way to the floor. It was not drivable. I was extremely upset and went in their and demanded answers. No one knows anything. I Rarely complain, but I was communicating all week about driving it home and no one mentioned it wasn't drivable. I had checked under the jeep when i picked it up, no puddle under it. so I think they did something to it, possibly by accident. Still they broke it.. This dealership is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. We brought our Dodge Durango in a while back with a seat belt that wouldn't retract. We got our car back with no seat belt, an empty hole where the seat belt was supposed to come through, and they told us it would cost us $4000+ to fix the hole THEY made in the medal frame where the seat belt was bolted into. They said we would have to replace the whole thing, including the roof that is part of the whole structure. We had to fight to get them to take responsibility for the mistake their technician did when he busted a hole in the car's inner frame work. They say work will only take a day, and then 4 days later you get your car back. One time we brought it in because the inside lights stopped working after the car had gotten worked on, then when we got it back from that getting fixed, then the air conditioner wasn't working in the rear. It's as if there's not a single technician that actually knows what they are doing. You'd think our account would have a huge neon sign on it that says, "Give these people the best service and care." And yet we continue to have issues. It was so bad, that we were on the manager contact basis so he could make sure we got the best service... We hadn't brought our car there for quite a while after giving them so many chances to do better. We brought it in today after a long time for an oil change, blinker light replacement, and to check out issues with our touch screen and a clicking sound under the engine. We had an appointment for Yesterday morning, brought it in. And now almost 2 business days later, they still haven't done ANY WORK and they are saying it won't be til Monday when they can even start to look at it. I'm so done. Very poor customer service. I made an appointment for service three weeks in advance. When I brought my vehicle in they told me they may not be able to get to it that day (Friday). The earliest I would be able to get it would be Monday maybe Tuesday. It's my only vehicle, it was a weekend and I was not warned in advance of my appointment they were backed up two weeks. I had a great visit on Saturday checking out used Wranglers with my daughter! I've never been here before so I didn't know what to expect. And I generally despise dealerships. But my daughter will reach driving age this summer and she's getting a used Wrangler. So we wanted to check them out and put our hands on one. We met with Brian Saastamoinen and he was FANTASTIC! I explained to him that we weren't ready to buy yet but we needed to get some product knowledge and to make a few decisions...like 2 doors or 4 doors. Brian was super nice and super knowledgeable. He was like a living, breathing Jeep Wrangler encyclopedia. And he let us test drive 2 Wranglers, a 2 door and a 4 door. My daughter now LOVES Jeeps even more! And she's now OBSESSED with Wranglers! It looks like Chrysler has a new female customer as a result of how nice they treated my daughter. If I could give no stars I would. We purchased a vehicle on 10/21/14 from the dealer; neither us nor our lending institution have received licensing or title despite numerous requests. On Oct 21, 2014 my husband and I purchased a 03 Chevy Avalanche ¾ ton with an 8.1L engine from Coon Rapids Chrysler. My husband worked with salesman A to arrange the purchase of the vehicle, until the date of pickup. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle it was stated that A was sick and several sales members were involved in completing the purchase. We purchased the vehicle with personal financing through our local lending institution. December 5, 2014 our lending institution called us to see if we had received the title for the truck, as they require the title as the lien holder. We had not. I called Coon Rapids Chrysler immediately to find out why the process was taking so long. I spoke with D. She told me that she was aware that the process was taking longer, as the dealership DID NOT have a clear title for the vehicle and was working on a lien release so it could be transferred to us. How could they sell a vehicle without a clear title?! D assured me this problem would undoubtedly be resolved before my temporary plates expired on January 22, 2015 and that the dealership would pay for any costs associated with expediting the process. On Wednesday Dec 31st, again our lending institution called us to inquire about the title. We still had not received it. On Jan 2, 2015 my husband contacted the Sales Manager A to find out what was going on. A returned his call in approximately 30 minutes and informed my husband that they had NOT yet been able to obtain a clear title/lien release for the vehicle. A promised to keep us informed and updated on the situation. We again informed them that the temporary plates on the vehicle expire on Jan 22, 2015 and they again assured us that the problem would be resolved by then. On January 9th I AGAIN called to find out the progress of the title transfer, since nobody has ever called us or our lender to keep us appraised of the situation. I left a message for A to please call me back regarding the problem. As of today, he has never called back. I spoke with D on Jan 9 and found that zero progress has been made on the title transfer and only after AGAIN reiterating that the temporary plates expire on Jan 22,2015 and that this vehicle is my primary vehicle and I NEED to have legal registration was I finally issued another temporary plate. During this conversation D divulged personal problems that she has had with the current lien holder in an irritating attempt to make me believe that her dealership is also a 'victim' in this situation. It was a deplorable attempt to shift our frustration with their dealership. Coon Rapids Chrysler sold this vehicle to us and accepted payment from our lender. This is clearly their problem. I then contacted the Minnesota Dealer Unit to inform them of the ongoing problem that we are having with the title transfer at Coon Rapids Chrysler. The MNDU contacted D on Jan 9th to inform them that they have received a complaint and that they will follow up on 02/23/15 with this problem. We have had no communication with the dealership and the dealership has made zero effort to contact us and keep us updated on the situation since Jan 9. To remain in good standing with our lender, despite proper proof of ownership, we have made multiple payments on this vehicle. We have made several repairs that have cost in excess of $400, put new tires on the vehicle, and made cosmetic improvements. This is a primary use vehicle for our family; we need the proper registration & title transfer immediately. We are incredibly disappointed with lack of professionalism by the sales & business staff, the lackadaisical sense of urgency, and the terrible communication and customer service. The process of purchasing a vehicle at Coon Rapids Chrysler is nightmare with no end in sight. We would NEVER recommend this business to anybody. I would also like it noted that we have had zero communication with the dealer and they have made no attempts to contact us to keep us informed of the ongoing problem since January 9, 2015. We have filed a formal complaint with the Minnesota Dealer Unit and a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau on January 19th, to which the dealership has still not responded to. read more

Do not walk, RUN from this place! 1st they made promises they didn't follow through with when they sold us a Van. The only van we could find with the features we wanted had previously been owned by a smoker and they assured us they could get every trace of the sent out. After 2 trips through detail there was still ashes very visible in multiple places in the Van, not to mention a horrific smell every time the seat warmers came on. The Van had a heated steering wheel and any time I used it, my hands smelled like I had been smoking a pack a cigarets. It was enough to make anyone vomit. My husband and kids felt physically ill if we were in the car for more than 20 minutes with the windows up (purchased in February) due to a combination of the cigarette order and all the chemicals they dumped in our Van to try and cover it up. They told us if they couldn't get the smell out they would exchange the Van. That turned into us getting an older Van not eligible for the same financing with more mileage, less features and we were soaked an extra 4K plus they draged the process out over 6 weeks. Yesterday we bring it in for a repair because the backup camera and remote start don't work after about a year. They charge us 180 including tax just to diagnose what we already told them was going on then they wanted another grand to replace a backup camera and a broken sensor. The $40 part for the sensor and the 20 minutes it would take according to the video on YouTube to install it are not worth $600 in my book. Had to pay $420 to replace the backup camera and as we've looked around no one else would do it because it was factory installed by Chrysler. The service employee we worked with yesterday was nice but that's the only good thing I can say about this horrific experience. RUN AWAY! The service dept is a joke. First they couldn't find my service warranty, even though it is in their computer. I phone a different Chrysler dealership who had no problem finding it. Coon Rapids tried to get me to agree to a $800 repair bill that was covered under the warranty they couldn't find. They kept my car 2 days and couldn't be bothered with letting me know my car was done. They were too busy to answer the phone when I called to check on my cars status. I drove there to see if it was done and several people were standing around and few were helping customers. When I finally got some help it took another 15 minutes to bring me my car. I have dealt with Coon Rapids Jeep on several occasions and none of them have had a positive outcome. I contacted them related to 2 recalls on my Jeep. I contacted them for an appointment, and they said it would be several weeks because they had to order the parts. When I arrived for my appointment, I took a seat and waited for an hour or so while they did the work. At that point one of there service reps came out and said they had handled the first recall repair but didn't have the parts for the second. They told me that the part had been ordered and they would call me to schedule as soon as the part was received. After no response for several weeks I called to get status and was told that they had failed to order the part. They assured me that the part would be ordered, and they would contact me when it arrived. Again, after several weeks of not hearing from them, I called and this time I was told that the part had been received several weeks earlier. They could not tell me why nobody had contacted me, but we scheduled a time to complete the repair. Again, I went in for the repair. Again, they showed me to the waiting area where I spent over an hour. At that point a service rep came out and told me that they DIDN"T have the part to complete the repairs. They had no answers to the multiple questions I had for them. Again, they assured me that they had ordered the part and would contact me when it arrived. It has now been 5 months and I have heard nothing from this dealer. I am a loyal Jeep customer and will be purchasing my next Jeep soon, but I will, and would recommend everyone, steer clear of this dealership. I recently purchased a new truck from Chrysler Jeep Dodge Coon Rapids . Unfortunately the track light strip on the back of my Durango had a loose seal so it was filling up with water. Someone (not my sales person Ben) ordered the part I believe from accessories and they informed me I'd be notified once the part was in. Over a week later, I called them for a status update. The first guy told me, Its been here for a week and they left a message. I have been waiting for this call and assured him I didn't receive anything. I let him know I've been stopped twice by the police because of the water it appears the light is out. The first guy was very nice, he apologized and transferred me to service. Craig Alhstrand answers, I explained my situation. He asks me if I could come in in two days. I asked him if he had anything today as I've been stopped twice already. He says "when can you get here then?" I told him 30 mins. He said "see you when you get here" and hangs up. I pull in at the service door, a gentleman greets me asking what he can do for me. Craig, comes over quickly and apparently wants to give me a piece if his mind. He says to me, "who ordered your part because on the phone you said they ordered it but I dont see it was ordered" I told him the guy that transferred me said it was in and had been in for a week or more. He was pissed and told me with a very nasty tone that he cant see it on his end but told me to go sit in the waiting area and he will need at least an hour. First of all, Im sorry that im inconveniencing Craig and he doesn't enjoy his job. But he definitely needs a lesson on customer service. He made me feel terrible as if I had done something wrong. If I have to deal with Craid Alhstrand I would never come back to service. read more

If you need service to your vehicle, you would be better off taking it somewhere else! Their Service Department has VERY POOR customer service and AWFUL communication. I dropped off my Dodge for a recall and asked them to do the courtesy multi-point inspection including looking at the condition of the tires and investigating an issue with the heat. On the service form envelope, I checked the box "YES" for them to call me if there would be any costs involved before proceeding. My appointment time was for 8:30 AM in the morning, but I had to call them at 2 PM after not hearing from them all morning. They said they were busy with other customers and said they would call me right back. 1.5 hours later, I finally heard back from them. They had a list of over $3,000 worth of repairs that they recommended, but said they could do for me at a later date when I could be without a vehicle for another day. I told them I would just need the recall issue resolved for now and would schedule another appointment later on. The service tech told me there would be no charge for the recall repair (as those associated costs are almost always covered) and I could pick up my vehicle anytime before they closed that day. When I showed up to pick up my vehicle, the cashier said I needed to pay $163 for the diagnostic charge (keep in mind they didn't repair anything other than the recall---which is free). Not only did they never warn me ahead of time that there would be this much of a charge to diagnose the heating issue, but over the phone, the service tech never mentioned that to me either. At that point, I had no choice but to pay the cashier so I could have my car back. When I called the service manager a couple days later to resolve this issue, he would not help me and said this is how they do things. The day after I got my car back, I had my heating issue resolved at another shop in Anoka for significantly cheaper ($1,500 less) than what I was quoted at this shop. If you really need to go to a dealership for work to be done to your vehicle, I would drive the extra miles and go to the Forest Lake dealership instead! I purchased my Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk in Feb 2019. I took it to the dealer to get my first oil change and the mechanic who was changing my oil put it on the lift incorrectly and it started to fall off the lift. I brought to the attention to the service manager and he asked the mechanic what happened. That made the mechanic mad and he put a screw driver into the insulation under the hood. I found this out once I returned home. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the insulation. Now when I take my Jeep to get the oil changed they take pictures of my jeep (front, back, sides, top, you get the picture) it makes me feel like common criminal. So, because the mechanic damaged my Jeep I am the bad guy. Crazy. I was going to purchase another Jeep or Ram product in the near future but not there. read more

This review is for my senior Parents. They recently traded in their 2004 mint condition Ram truck for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While they enjoy their new car I was disturbed to hear about the $45 appraisal fee to their trade in along with the $500 detail fee for their truck. They were charged $545 just to trade in their truck which to me seems like a way to scam people out of their trade in price! On top of this once the paper was completed and time came for my 69yr Dad and 75yr Mom to transfer their items from their truck to their new Jeep at 8pm in the pouring rain. According to my Dad no one tired to help them or offer to have my Dad pull his truck into a covered space so he could transfer his things. He was completely soaked and then had to drive 3 hrs back to Hayward Wi all wet. To me I find this to be in poor customer service and disgraceful to senior citizens. I have sent an email to the dealership regarding this and pending a response. If no stars was an options I would have used that! Based on the kelley blue book value for my parents truck on a dealer trade was $19,100-$21,400. My Dad had to fight to get 18,200 trade in to which he was told the dealer could not go any higher on 2004 2500 diesel with 65,000k original miles in mint condition. To my Minneapolis friends and family I would suggest shopping around at other Jeep dealers for better customer service and unnecessary fees ( $500 admin fees, $45 appraisal fees, $500 detail fees etc.) read more

I took my Chrysler 300 there for an airbag recall. I also them to look at the drivers door (it won't stay open) and let me know the cost to fix it. They did and called me with the cost. I opted not to have it fixed. I also had an oil change. So when all was done, I expected to pay for the oil change. But they added a $63 charge to look at the door. Never telling me there would be a charge to look at it. I paid it. Will not do business there again. If I had known there would be a charge just to look at it, I would not have had it looked at. I traded in a vehicle and purchased, and I couldn't be more satisfied on either end of the transaction. Service inspection identified a few minor leaks in the used vehicle I planned to purchase and the dealership took it on themselves to see the warranty repairs completed prior to delivery. On top of that, the dealership General Manager arranged delivery over 30 miles away to my workplace when it was ready. Bottom line..... 5 star customer service! read more

Great place for oil changes very nice lobby reasonable prices they will try to pitch a sell to you on something that doesn't need fixing i.e. air filter. But they do that everywhere just don't worry Bout it and politely decline everything else is great about this spot read more

We have a used Town & Country handicapped conversion van. Dustin Smith did a thorough evaluation prior to our purchase. He has since been very helpful at arranging appointments, and facilitating quality service and maintenance. As a result, all future service, maintenance, and repairs will be entrusted to Coon Rapids Chrysler. Dustin Smith is excellent! Additionally, Ryan Dimuzio helped us obtain extended warranty through Chrysler. His knowledge and professionalism were appreciated. As handicapped conversion vans are quite expensive, it gives us comfort knowing that any major repairs will be offset by warranty protection. Again, all future service, maintenance, and repairs will be entrusted to Coon Rapids Chrysler. read more

They "advertised" a trade in bonus and when asked what this trade in bonus entailed I was told, it was just top dollar for a trade in vehicle. They also said that an outside company comes and does the graphics and it really doesn't co-exist with specials. A customer (who one of the finance people know) was selling purses to other customers that were waiting. During my meeting with the GM of the facility, it was said that he was getting work done on his car and this was just being stored there until the work was completed. I am not sure why it just couldn't stay in the trunk...2 customers were persuaded into buying fake purses. The tire pressure of the vehicle when I left was at 55 psi. I brought it back in and I was told to schedule and appointment. With very little concern of the safety issues at hand. Finally, my worst experience in this entire event was with the service department. They car I had bought was used and I noticed that some vibration was occurring in the gas pedal. It took the dealership, 10 days to investigate, align the vehicle and replace a strut. I had to BEG for a service vehicle to use during this time, they completely lacked at communicating with me as a customer on the status of the vehicle and the vibration was never fixed. They clearly falsely advertise, have unacceptable business practices and little care of concern for you as a customer after you sign the documents. I did send a letter to the dealership explaining my issues and I was asked to come in. At the meeting they explained that they knew they have problems for a very long time and they are working on fixing it (i am not sure how long it takes to fix these problems). He indicated that many signs were put up in the lobby if you are waiting more than 15 minutes let a receptionist know (one 3x5 sign, orange and not noticeable). They really didnt do anything to fix the issue and I would NEVER suggest anyone purchase a vehicle or especially bring one in for service EVER to this location. It was a nightmare. Terrible customer service. My spouse brought in a vehicle for warranty work and it sat in the lot for three weeks. They finally replaced a part, and the vehicle is still not functioning safely. Calls were not returned, and my spouse was refused a shuttle ride home. Hmmm. read more

My wife and I had a poor experience purchasing our new vehicle. One day after our purchase the vehicle ended up being repaired and two days later it was returned with the same problems. After explaining to our sales team that we were not happy with the vehicle sold to us, we were told to bring it back in to exchange for a new vehicle. I brought the Durango back in to exchange it and found the sales manager, AJ, had no interest in following through with our agreement. Instead he suggested we leave it for two more days and let them fix that which had already been "fixed". This was my first experience with this dealership. And I was more than impressed by the personalized attention I had with the staff at Coon Rapids Chrysler Jeep Dodge. My sales guy listened to my wants and needs. He was very knowledgeable about all the trim levels. And put me in the exact truck I wanted. He and the sales manager did extra work trying to locate the perfect truck for me. Even the manager came by when I picked up the truck to make sure I was happy. The finance guy was just as good. I picked up some aftermarket tires and wheels and everyone in the parts department was attentive, and got me just what I was looking for. After I owned the truck for a few months I decided to get a clear wrap put on the front. Again a totally positive experience. The people in the service department were on point with customer service. I can't say enough good things. Before you say I must have been a push over. I walked out with a price and terms I was more than happy with. With over 40+ years of car buying experience. Buying a car was ok, but the reason for this rate was is because of service. I get a notice for a recall on the promaster 1500 to get something replaced, called them the first time and they say its not yet in the system and to call back in a couple of weeks. Called in to make an appointment and was scheduled 2 weeks out because times slots were already being filled up. Well, that day comes and after waiting 45mins in the waiting area, they come back with "that part is on back ordered"? Now I gotta wait for another notice because apparently something else is on recall to get both items fix?! Could had called and gave a heads up before driving all the way here. read more
