Some of the rudest people I seen in a long time, not the mechanics but the man in the lobby.

This is about their business ethic and honesty and not about the actual work. I have to say there…read moreare very few oil change business who are honest with their work. This was not a normal circumstance by any means. The previous business who did my oil change had tightened the oil plug way too tight. This Jiffy Lube had a difficult time loosening the plug. They eventually had to use a tie rod to get the plug loose. In doing so they damaged the oil pan. Now, most places would have just 'duck taped' the plug and sent me on my way. I had to drive back to Chicago from Minneapolis. I would have been stranded if they decided to do so. Instead the General Manager, Ian, took his knowledge and superior customer service to another level. Epic customer service I have not experienced in a while. He informed me of what had transpired and owned up to the damage. Got the car to the closest dealership to get it repaired. Got me a rental car to get me around. All paid by Jiffy Lube. Updated me every step of the way. Now to most this should be the protocol when a business falls through on their work. I have not experienced many people and business who would own up to a bad situation caused by the business. The blame would be passed or try to conceal the damage. Ian and his crew were apologetic and you could tell they were truly worried. This could have been worse if they decided to run from it. Instead they were true gentlemen and took pride in their work and how they conduct themselves. Things happen and I understood bad things happen on accident. I believe they saw I wasn't going to screamed and holler about it but they also noticed how worried I was about it. I needed to back in Chicago for work and had a along drive back. Thanks to their character I am now waiting for the dealership to finish the repairs. In conclusion, I would recommend this place for your oil change services. I would come back when back in town. Would not be afraid because I know they will take care of me and their customers. Please do not avoid this Jiffy Lube due to my situation. It is rare this type of situation would happen. Instead please look at this location as having upstanding management and high character crew. Ian, if you get to read this, Thank You. Your honesty, quick thinking and compassion had truly saved a bad situation from becoming a total nightmare. I do look forward to coming to you again for oil change services. Maybe the plug won't we so tight next time........

Too be fair the new owner worked with me when car repairs ran over budget and kept me on the road. I also used Snap various times to keep my car repaired. The problem lies in having to fix the same thing's multiple times. 3 radiators, 2 water pumps , 2 alternators, 4 different coolant reserves for starts. It's just ridiculous too have to pay for repairs to the same component over and over. So yes while he worked with me (new owner) it also cost me I. The end. Always an excuse of why the warranty didn't cover it. I have to agree with the poster below. Mike was wonderful and fair. The service I received from roger does not compare at all. Edit addition Another water pump. 3rd one! Ridiculous to say the least. New shop asked if it was the original?!

I wrote and told them about how I did not appreciate that.... No return response. New management.. Mike where did you go.. I would take the extra trip to have your type of service. Will never go there or recommend them to even an enemy, fortunately I don't have any!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!…read more They put a plastic tube into my oil dip stick line, and it melted into my oil pan...and they had to tow it to a Firestone down the street to fix it,and I was without a car for 24 hours and I didn't get so much as sorry. Called customer service and they couldn't care less about the situation. HOURS of my time and my husbands time wasted between him coming and getting me from valvoline, and taking time off work to come get me from home cuz they wouldn't give me a rental. Zero compensation, zero remorse. Even the Firestone they towed it to said they fix cars from that location all the time! Horrible employees and horrible service. Then when we went to Firestone to pick up my car...it wasn't paid for and I couldn't pick it up. So we had to FORCE them to pay for it on the spot so I could take my car home after 24 HOURS OF NOT HAVING IT AFTER THEY BROKE IT!!! I can't give negative starts but if I could I would. What a horrible company. We will never be going back.

I don't like to be talked down to, and that initial phone call felt alright enough for me to solidify an appointment. However, things just went down from there. The coon rapids location kept my car for almost two weeks before a tech was available to look at it. I understood that they were busy, but I had to call multiple times for updates, only to be told I was "next in line," and, "worst case scenario, we'll get to it on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday," etc. Turns out, this entire experience turned out to be full of worse case scenarios. Additionally, I felt like I was being talked down to at every turn. I may not know a lot about cars, but the overall tone of this experience was that I may as well stick with them because no other shop would be able to diagnose the problem. Long story short, I had to get a new car and just pay for the diagnosis, which sucked. AAMCO offered to get rid of my old car for me, and I was expecting at least a few hundred dollars for it, as is typical with junkyard deals, but they never gave me anything. Usually, I would push back and ask more questions, but by that point I was ready to close the deal and never speak to them again. Don't go here! Especially if you're a femme person. Stay far away.
