So we came in about an hour before close today and tried the the mango habanero chicken sandwich and beer battered fries. The fries were not beer battered really at all but the manager explained they changed suppliers and were trying out new ones so I understood that. They were not very crisp but again it was near closing time. The sandwich was interesting had good flavor and plenty of crunchy pickles I was hoping for crisper slaw to match the pickles but there was not very much on it. The sandwich is very messy which I don't mind at all but sadly the chicken was not really fried like you would expect it was kind of like ordering chick-fil-a then driving home waiting a little bit then eating it so it's kind of soggy breading. The intent was there just missed on execution tonight.

Always a stop for us when visiting family in Utah. Chubby's Cafe burgers so delicious and the ambiance of each of their locations is fun and inviting. Great food and service. Pastrami Burger

This is one of the GO-TO places that we frequently dine at, knowing we will never be disappointed with either the quality of the food or the service! This place is WELL known for its scrumptious burgers, beer-battered crispy fries, and the Ferrari of milkshakes. They do everything well here! My favorite burger here is the mushroom and swiss burger, it's one of the best I've had. The ratio of mushrooms to the burger and melted gooey swiss cheese is to die for, and to pair it up with their famous beer-battered fries is just a match made in heaven. Favorite shake: B-A-N-A-N-A S-P-L-I-T. They use real hot fudge here (which is a BIG PLUS in my book) and the outcome of this shake is a party in your mouth. If you're a banana split ice cream fan, this is your winner in shake form. The service is phenomenal. All you need to do is ask nicely (if they can correct your order) and they will do it with a smile, no questions asked. PRO TIP: Try asking for a side of ranch sauce and teriyaki sauce. Dip your beer-battered fries in them (first dip in ranch, then teriyaki). I promise you'll never go back to fry sauce after this! This is my personal concoction!

Cafeteria style. The line moves fast. Cobb salad and Utah burger were excellent. Loved the decor!

I was in…read morePleasant Grove on a windy Saturday and Burger Pioneers was calling my name for some lunch. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I definitely thought they were in a more centralized location. They are not too far from State Street but not close to too many other businesses either. The great news is, they have a wide open parking lot with plenty of spaces. Their food truck is super cute. It hardly looks like a truck and resembles more of a massive wagon. They really went all out with the branding and I am here for it. With it being a parked food truck, they didn't have a lobby or an inside but they did have some tables and chairs right outside their truck. Upon approaching the truck, a guy came to stand beside me and take my order. I was not 100% sure what I wanted but I elected for their signature burger with fries. He said that he could bring it out to my car once it was ready, which I extra appreciated because it was not a very nice day out. My total was just shy of 20 bucks, at $19.27. I sorta understand. I mean, they're a local food truck and it seems that they strive to provide much better quality food than other fast food places...but this is pretty steep for just a burger and fries. The food did seem to come out pretty fast and I was excited to try it. The onion on the burger was a bit large, it was almost an inch thick and I think I would've preferred it cut up just a little more. The fries were pretty good but tasted a bit greasier than I would've liked. I did like that it came with a fry sauce. All in all, I really liked Burger Pioneers. I felt that all the flavors were a bit overpowering and almost bitter because of the greasy taste, but it wasn't a bad burger spot. I hope to be back when the weather is nicer with some friends. This is probably such a cute, fun spot in the summer time!

We ordered 2 burgers and we added bacon on both of our burgers which was extra. When we are our burgers, we couldn't even tell there was bacon on there. We couldn't taste it at all. It wasn't crispy. The bacon was really small and it was a cheap kind of bacon. We paid extra for it and couldn't even tell a difference. We ordered a side of waffle fries for our 11 month old daughter. Most of the fries were super hard and way over done. We couldn't feed them to her since she doesn't have all of her teeth. We ended up throwing them away because they were just so hard and not good. It is also super expensive. No fountain drinks just canned soda. Also, when we ordered nobody else was there and we waited so long for our food. We waited in our car since it was freezing outside but the service was so slow.

A pleasant finding-I could either purchase the ingredients to make an omelette myself, or pay to have someone make it for me. It's a no brainer in my world-I'll always opt to have someone else cook if I have the choice. The omelette was pretty good-packed with veggies. I would have loved more mushrooms and less onions, but that's a personal preference. The atmosphere is casual and inviting-with seating both in the cafe area as well as outside along the front wall of the store. It's located in a strip mall, so it's easy to find and has plenty of shared parking out front. I look forward to returning to browse the retail side a bit-who knows, maybe I'll buy some eggs and make myself an omelette?

But it's a pleasant, tidy little space, and a nice place to have a meal. I was able to try the chicken pesto panini, fries and fry sauce, tomato soup, and oat cake. The panini and the fries are quite tasty. I think the most unique item is the oat cake, which is a hearty bite for sure. The soup, sadly, is not very good, which is kind of a letdown, because it's hard to do poorly with tomato soup. You're supposed to serve the soup yourself, but we weren't aware of that, and the staff was nice enough to dish it up for us! The store portion offers tons of quality healthy foods. If you're following a specific diet, just be advised to check the labels. Some items are definitely "cleaner" than others.
