When my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by such a sweet staff who immediately welcomed us in, shared their thoughts on the menu (since we were first-timers), and suggested we leave a review (they were so lovely, so how could we not!) The entire restaurant feels like the diner Sam worked at in Cinderella Story from the early 2000s - very vintage, very retro, very 50s! It's what I imagine restaurants looking like when my grandparents went on dates when they were my age. I had gotten the tofu nugs via DoorDash, which were better IRL and the milkshake was scrumptious too! My friend got the Milkman Burger, fries, and a fruity pebbles shake. It was all great but let me tell ya...we had this meal almost two weeks ago and I'm STILL dreaming of those French fries. I have had so many iterations of fried potato before...shoestring, steak, wedges, sweet potato, those made from yuca, curly, dipped in ice cream, etc. and these are the best fries I've had in my life. If I could live off the fries, I would. They were that good. I already have plans to share this place with other friends of mine as it has officially worked its way into the rotation for me!

I did have it to go so all I can tell you is the food was pretty good. I don't know how much I can actually recommend it. The best thing it is down town Cinci so it's decent enough to go to for lunch.

The same owner and cook from the beginning a few years ago!! My wife and I love this place. We've been here a few times and has not disappointed us. This particular time we were craving brisket and it melted in our mouths. We shared the Full 1 lb brisket meal. Added Cole slaw, side salad and 1/2 skillet cornbread!! The establishment is an old house turned tavern. Nicely decorated and lots of TV to take care of the sports needs you have. You can also sit outside when it's nice out.

One evening I made a special trip down Riverside to visit. I really enjoyed this stop and will have to make a special trip again in the future. For starters, their smoked & stuffed jalapeños are delightful ($10)! Sausage, cream cheese, and cheddar are all inside, wrapped with bacon and smoked. They come served with house BBQ sauce on the side, but you may not even need it. The smoke flavor is really there on the bacon and mixes well with the creamy filling. For dinner, the naan street tacos are a solid choice. Pulled pork, peach BBQ, source cream, pickled onion, and green onion are packed inside of garlic naan and served taco style ($16). This is served with a very large side of mac and cheese. It is quite a filling meal! The tacos were great and the naan holds up really well to the juices and sauces, as compared to a soft corn shell.

We came in from the Reds game ourselves. The service was quick which was a great thing. This is more like a 3.5 star review. Parking as always in the Mt Lookout neighborhood is hard to get. We ended up parking a block away and it was parallel parking on the street. The place was packed full of customers making it pretty hard to hear each other talk. We originally sat at a high-top table but moved to a booth when one opened up. I ordered a Bourbon Lemonade cocktail but would not order it again, it was ok but really not boozy and did not have a lot of flavor. About the food, I ordered the Zip's Burger as it comes and also a dinner salad to go with it. My husband ordered the Double Zip's Burger and fries and my friend ordered the Zip's Burger and Onion Rings. The salad although large was just mostly iceburg lettuce and a few croutons and two slices of tomato, nothing special. I will say their house-made balsamic dressing was good though. I had one of my friend's onion rings and also my husband's fries. The onion rings were not crunchy and I was not a fan. The fries were ok but I would pass on those as well. The standout for all of us was the burger. I would definitely rate their burgers 4.5 stars. Perfect medium cook and juicy and if you like your burgers on the thicker side then you will like these. I am typically a smash burger girl but I gave the thicker burger a go and it was really good. This place is continually mentioned in Cincinnati foodie groups as one of the top spots to get a burger in Cincinnati and I will have to agree. Next time I may try a soup as my side as on this day it was a tomato bisque. This spot is definitely worth trying and we may hit it up again after another Great American Ballpark outing.

We had a large party, and our waiter, Lil D, didn't miss a beat. He was super friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be right there whenever we needed something. The cars that move around on the ceiling are currently down while they're being repainted, but that's always one of our favorite features when we visit. Our food came out hot and delicious. The Jiffy Burger is one of my favorites! I always ask for the peanut butter on the side because they tend to be a little generous with it on the burger. They also sang for our birthday girl and brought her a complimentary bowl of ice cream, which was a fun touch. The only suggestion I'd make is to skip the extremely loud horn sound when someone at the bar leaves a tip or when the staff comes out to sing for birthdays. It's really loud and can be pretty distracting. We also love the fun car-themed sinks in the bathrooms and the automotive-themed napkin holders and food wraps. They have a cute selection of swag, too, including T-shirts, cups, hats, and more. We'll definitely be back!

I found myself halfway through the signature burger, marveling at the assembly--not a bolt out of place, everything in its proper station and the lettuce crisp as a cold-rolled steel sheet. A man appreciates a system that functions without chatter or delay. Sitting here near the assembly plant's ghost, I couldn't help but admire the vintage fittings; they've managed to capture the spirit of progress without the clutter of modern inefficiency. My wife has a constitution that demands specific care, and the server handled her requirements with the precision of a master machinist, wasting no time on unnecessary pleasantries but delivering exactly what was ordered. The restrooms, surprisingly, have a sense of humor, though humor is a luxury I generally leave to the salesmen. It is a good price for an honest meal, constructed with a respect for speed that would make a production line foreman nod in approval. It is a well-oiled operation and I shall return to see if they can maintain this level of output." And normal: From the moment i stepped in... the atmosphere hit me like a wave. It was a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern sophistication with antiques that told stories of a bygone era. The restrooms while quirky, added a unique touch to the experience. What truly stood out was the service. It was swift and efficient, with our server going above and beyond to accommodate my wife's allergies. Grant our server did amazing job ! I ordered the Ford signature burger, and it was an absolute masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality was exceptional. The presentation was top-notch, and the speed at which it arrived was impressive. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and i couldn't be more satisfied with my dining experience. Overall, Ford's Garage is a must-visit for anyone looking for a high-quality, efficient, and enjoyable meal. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is truly special. i highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food and wants to experience a unique dining experience. - Atmosphere: 9/10 - Food Quality: 9/10 - Service/Flow: 10/10 - Value: 8/10 - Would Return: Yes.
