Never being there but knowing they have cannoli (no dessert case seen), I asked what flavors and got a strange look like there must be only one flavor lol. Okay, I'll take whatever that one is! The man went into the back to fill it for me and I will say it was delicious and was I guess just a plain cream with maybe some vanilla. They aren't open very late so get there early if you want dinner. Like before 5pm. Several others came in to get sandwiches while we were there and said they are great. The space is not very big, it's mostly counter and register but they do have a few tables if you want to sit. You can tell by who was working that they are a family run business and I'm happy to support them in the future! I will ask for extra cheese!

A good friend of mine cooked at B&B for a while. As young, recent college grads, my wife and I regularly ate there. Along with Oriental Drugs, the Blue River Cafe, The Outpost and Century Hall, B&B was a favorite, comforting go-to spot. Although I couldn't visit very often during my 25 years on the west coast, I was so very happy to know that it was still here, and as wonderful as ever, when I returned to Wisconsin in 2008. How funny to think that this tremendous haven for those wanting to include at least some vegetarian foods in their diet occupied the spot once known for Frenchy's restaurant (the place famous/infamous for its bear and lion steaks)! I'll need a new place to eat before going to the Oriental Theater. And I'll need a long time to process the sadness I feel. All the best to the owners and staff . . . and here's hoping that maybe B&B will live on in another location.

It was clean and well lit, thanks to the large front windows. It appears that most of their business is takeout, but there are several tables available for dining in. We were the only people eating there during our visit, so it was very quiet. Overall: We were super impressed with this little spot serving excellent Somali/African food. I've been dining in and ordering food for delivery from here for a handful of years now and I've never been disappointed by a single thing on their gigantic menu. My usual go to foods include the gyro burger which combines a really tasty burger and gyro meat, the Chubby's cheesesteak that adds veggies and mayo to a traditional cheesesteak which works shockingly well, and the loaded tots that'll clog your arteries but you'll go with a smile and a full belly. I'm not a fan of French fries and even those are terrific at Chubby's. The staff is always friendly and outgoing, the deliveries have gotten to me earlier than they said they would every single time I've ever ordered, and the owners and management really seem to care about customer satisfaction and take great pride in what they do. All that withstanding, perhaps the most impressive thing is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The lobby is always spotless, the kitchen appears immaculate, and I can see the cooks which is comforting considering how many restaurants in Milwaukee and beyond can make a person nervous about getting something disgusting in their food and that's something I NEVER worry about at Chubby's. On top of that they're open ALL THE TIME, or at least it seems that way and that's incredibly convenient for a place that delivers basically anywhere. I'm shocked that there are any poor reviews for this place and I have to assume it's because the reviewers didn't understand that this was just a higher end fast food place, only have written bad reviews for any place they've critiqued, or are typical internet whiners. After years of going here and seeing the care and service the staff provides and the delicious food they produce I can't say one bad thing about Chubby's. Everyone should stop in here and treat themselves to a taste of Philly and more at least one time, after that a return trip will be an afterthought. read more

Chubby's Cheesesteaks , by far has the best customer service , Every time I come in, I'm greeted by the cashiers and they ALWAYS ask how my day was. The food is Phenomenal I'm more of a plain Jane so I stick with the Italian Beef and I love that there is an option to either have the mild of hot Giardiniera , most places give you Jalapenos when requesting Hot peppers. Not only is the Italian Beef one of my favorites but The Philly is just the perfect combination of peppers and fried onions with just a hint of mayo you'll surely be satisfied. Added to the great customer service is how fast they deliver I'm equally distant from both the east side location and the miller park way location but I always receive my food hot and ready to enjoy. Both locations always are adding to there stores which makes it interesting to try to guess what was recently added to either the menu or the store. I also love how laid back and inviting Chubby's is and there bathroom is always spotless unlike some restaurants. It says a lot about how clean they keep their lobby. If you are around the east side area or are hungry late night Chubby's is the one to call not only are they open late but they deliver almost everywhere , You'll never go to sleep hungry again! read more

First of all, this place has the biggest menu that I have ever seen in my life. You would think that having such a large menu means they skimp on quality, but with everything i have tried, that is definitely not the case. They have everything and I mean everything. You can obviously get cheesesteaks, but they have wings, fried chicken, all different other kinds of sandwiches, fish, nachos, hot dogs, tons of yummy appetizers (I love the mac n cheese bites), desserts like milkshakes and even these crazy fried candy bars. (It sounds crazy, but don't knock it until you try it) What's even better is they are open super late, and they will deliver anything to you, you don't have to meet a minimum, which is one of my pet peeves. Chubbys~ !!! I love you! You make me so happy on so many levels! All I can say is, keep doing what you're doin, cause you're doing it so well! Burgers, wings, cheesesteaks, fried pickles, wonton mozz sticks, fried cheesecake! I have tried all these things from chubby's and they have all been good. (Though, make sure you get someone to share the fried cheesecake with you, because its so rich, its even too much for a dessert fiend like me! lol) They will bring you food late at night, and the delivery is always so quick, when I'm hungry, I get my food. It's quite obvious, the other people that wrote reviews have never been to Philly to have a real cheese steak. The price is cheaper than Pat's or Geno's, the flavor is about equal as a real Philly Cheesesteak. I haven't found any issues with service. Actually they were very accomodating. If you haven't had the real deal Philly Chessesteak, there's no reason for anyone to speak their rants or even dare to play food critic for Chubby's. The only thing missing from feeling that you're in Philly is an Eagles Flag and a picture of Stallone. read more

I ordered boneless wings through Uber eats and they came literally completely engulfed in sauce, like the sauce in the take home box was so much it completely engulfing the wings. I had to go swimming to get my wings out. It was practically wing soup, Also they weren't the best, and when u called to ask a question about the menu, the lady who answered the phone was super rude and hung up before I even finished talking.
