i called today 5/14/22 to place an order, the lady on the phone started to take my order, as i start to place my order she kept sighing and then i requested if they could cook my onions and pepper in vinegar she said no its too busy. i understand locations can become overwhelming, to deny a customer satisfaction on their meal is the worst service any place can give. i would have given a longer wait time and attempt to satisfy the customer. second time here and twice service is below standards. i hope service will be better for you. they lost me officially read more

I've visited this deli a few times as I live nearby (just moved to the area) and posting an honest evaluation. Typically, businesses like to 'salt' their establishment by leaving nearly perfect reviews, so this isn't that kind of review. If you happen to stop by this deli for a bite, the sandwiches are alright, but they're not great. The Philly Cheese Steak is probably their best sandwich as an older woman that can also make tacos made one for me that was pretty good. However, if you're looking for a sandwich, I would suggest going to Marshall's deli as they make them better there. My low rating for this establishment is really based on their incompetence of making a breakfast sandwich. I've visited this deli twice in one week (before going to work) for an egg and cheese sandwich and was provided no cheese at each instance. The first time it happened, I made a self-admission that people make mistakes, even if it's a simple task such as adding a slice of cheese on 2 eggs. I also took a loss on spending an extra dollar and change, but the monetary loss isn't really what is of importance. I ended up paying $5 for a cheese-less egg sandwich and a small coffee. The second time I stopped in for an egg and cheese sandwich, I didn't get any cheese on the sandwich... again. To add an extra insult, I took another monetary loss with paying for a product that I didn't receive. At that moment, I decided to call them and make a small gripe because it's bad business for a local establishment with not providing services that have been paid for and I just don't like giving money away that I've worked hard for unless I'm making a donation. I would've liked to go there in person to discuss the matter, but it's tough to do that when you're at work. During the phone call, I spoke to a woman and explained the situation. I was then told to hold on and then a man came on the phone. This is where an 'icing on the cake' part happens. Again, I explained the situation to the man on what happened during the two breakfast instances. The man responded by stating, "I put cheese on all of my egg sandwiches" and "Go see Mike if you come in and he'll make you an egg sandwich with cheese". This was pretty much the theme of the conversation. The man was in disbelief that I had no cheese on my sandwich as if he or the deli employees never made a mistake. What surprised me the most was a few things about this, he (Chubby's deli) never apologized about not only screwing up once, but twice! There was no reconciled matter about the gripe I had or even the mention of compensating for my monetary loss. A simple, 'next time you come in, we'll take care of your breakfast for you' would have been great business. What really got me was how the man was in disbelief and just couldn't 'connect the dots' as to why I was taking time out of my morning to make an unnecessary phone call and also later ended up writing this review about not putting any cheese on my breakfast sandwich. Seriously, who would call a deli about not putting cheese on their egg sandwich if that person were lying! So, this was done out of principle and to let any readers that are interested about visiting Chubby's deli to be careful! So here are three things I learned about this experience that may be of help to you (the reader): 1. There is one very incompetent employee. It's one thing to admit your own mistake(s) as there is no loss of respect, but to think that the customer is wrong is a huge business mistake. 2. Chubby's deli will not compensate you for your hard-earned money, even if they blatantly made a mistake on your order. 3. If you decide to go to this establishment for food, I would suggest checking your food after receiving it to make sure you have everything that you purchased. Unfortunately, no one should have to do this, but this is the kind of business they are running. P.S. I was generous enough to give them 2 stars because of the Philly Cheese Steak. This is the worst place ever to eat! The worst service ever. My food was delivered cold and the so called manager Brooke of the place was just as nasty as the food. This is the absolute most disgusting place, I will NEVER spend a dime there again. Please stay away from this disgusting establishment. The place looks good, and the food does taste great, but BE CAREFULL! I had a hot meatball parm on a roll on 1/20/17 and became violently sick hours later (after eating nothing else). Symptoms subsided 12 hours after they started which strongly suggests food poisoning. I've heard other people say similar things. It's clear they DO NOT handle hot food correctly. Don't risk your health eating here. read more
