Good quality ingredients but inconsistent execution. For example, my poppyseed cinnamon bun was presented in one of those cute cast iron skillets but the bun was ice cold, dry, and not failed to deliver comfort food vibes. I suspect that the dish was originally cooked in the skillet and drowned in a creamy cream cheese frosting. THAT would score high. Unfortunately, the little pan was a real let down- almost like a bait and switch. Management-- if you want to take a shortcut, just serve the bun on a plate. Other dishes delivered on presentation, but failed on practicality. Example- The Flatbread which is topped with beautifully cooked fried eggs was served on a board with no side plate so the egg yolk ran unto the table-embarrassing. This brings me to SERVICE. I went here for my anniversary dinner expecting a great time from all of the great things I have heard about this place and had a rude awakening when I received my chicken that was undercooked and I then ordered a desert. We wanted to try and make the best of this night and the apple crisp was covered in mold and they didn't comp our whole meal they offered a gift card that we could use next time. Debated with getting seafood boil, Lamb birria was a bit too salty, and the dish could use more cabbage and citrus in it. It's in the name but I'm not sure where the "crispy" comes in. Went there last night ordered the hanger steak. I have never in all my years been to a restaurant where the steak was cold. Also, the portion of the steak look like a kids menu. Where the beef? They asked if I wanted a new steak and I said no just heat it up because it took forever. When they heated it up it was lukewarm. Also, the service was really slow. We sat there for half hour before we got our food. You would think that they would give me the steak for free when I got the bill instead they waved a bottle of sparkling water off the bill. We have come to Heritage for our annual Christmas Eve Dinner. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and looked absolutely stunning. The vibes were all there. However, the issue, again, is inconsistent menu and food that misses the point more often than it should. We had a shrimp toast appetizer that was delicious. I ordered branzino from the specials menu, my husband had a pesto rigatoni with shrimp and my kids opted for Mac and cheese off the kids menus. The only good meal was my husband's. I was expecting the whole fish, not one fillet. It was over charred and the beans it was served with didn't complement it. My kids said Mac and cheese tasted like it came from the box. The drinks were delicious, I had Purple Haze (highly recommend) and a few dirty martinis. The dessert, again, was inconsistent. My husband's cookie skillet with ice cream was delicious, while my apple dessert (again from the specials menu) was not great. Service was slower than we like, but pleasant. And since it was a special occasion, we didn't mind waiting for the food, as we were enjoying family time. We have been coming to Heritage for Christmas Eve dinner for three years in a row, but the food doesn't seem to improve much. I think we will look elsewhere next year. read more

Friends of ours visit this restaurant every time they're in the area so we decided to join them. A group of about 10 of us started with dinner and drinks in the dining area. I honestly understand why they enjoy it so much - totally our style. Fun, elevated atmosphere, great food, great service, and just an overall exceptional experience. I failed to take pics of the food but I tried a little bit of everything from wings to the mussels I ordered and it was all really good. The mussels was a HUGE portion. Supposed to be an app but honestly it was large enough to be my meal - I barely finished it. As dinner was wrapping up about half of us made our way to the bar to check out their bourbon selection - it was better than I expected. The lead bartender was AWESOME!! We had so much fun w him. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Very generous with the pours too. We're up this way a couple times per year and the next time we visit I will be sure to stop by here! read more

Heritage is good. Have gone multiple times. Ambiance is nice and their bottomless brunch mimosa is great. Service isn't always consistent. Some days you'll wait a while for your server and others you get swift service. Today it was ok. Waited a while for anything. Drinks came after 20 mins then apps. Then we didn't see our server again for a while. At this point we opted to leave and not order a main since we knew most likely would take awhile. First off I was hemming and hawing about coming here because people have said the food is expensive and the portions are small. The reviews are not stellar but Hubby wanted to try it so here we are. I did wish it had a lot more jalapeños. Hubby got the ribeye steak tips and they were grilled perfectly. Nice and red inside with a nice char and the flavor was nice. I just love that beef flavor when it's not masked by too much sauce. Dinner was impressive when delivered to our table. The chicken Milanese was delicious. The two chicken cutlets were crispy and hot with a beautifully dressed arugula salad on top. I wished I could've had some of that salad too! My brick chicken was hot, super crispy and juicy served on top of beautifully cooked potatoes and roasted peppers. You know when they cook those potatoes perfectly creamy on the inside but crispy and flavorful on the outside? Yeah...that's what I'm talking about. Everything sitting on top of a nice kicking sauce. I was hesitant about coming here for the longest time based on the mixed reviews, but a friend wanted to come here to celebrate her new job so four of us went last Sunday for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised and overall really enjoyed the food and experience. Our server, Kailynn, was great. She was friendly and attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. We got there early and drinks and food arrived quickly. We ordered a few appetizers and entrées and I tried two different cocktails, and I don't have a complaint about any of the dishes. I love spicy drinks so I started out with the Slow Burn cocktail and it was delicious, perfectly spicy without being overwhelming and also refreshing. For my second drink, I had the Snowing in Miami, which was also delicious and well crafted. I'm a completely amateur mixologist at home and I appreciate a well-made drink with no mixers or too much sweetness. We ordered several appetizers, including the sweet potato hush puppies, and the crispy pork belly. The hush puppy was well cooked and crisp on the outside, creamy and smooth on the inside and overall a nice dish. The crispy pork belly was outstanding. It was meaty, full of umami, both salty & sweet and the cool slaw on top was perfect. For entrées, I had the waffle and fried chicken. The chicken was a bit dark, but overall it was very well seasoned and the waffle was delicious although I would deduct a point because it was served with pancake syrup and not pure maple syrup. They really think about the extra touches that tie all the flavors together and the honey butter on the salty chicken was perfect. I tried a bite of my friend's BEC flatbread and again, it was delicious. It was a nice contrast of textures and flavors, and the paprika aïoli was well seasoned without being too smoky or spicy. By the time we finished around 12:45, the restaurant was quite busy. We all enjoyed our food and I would definitely visit again with my family. Hopefully my next experience is as good as the first. The wait staff and any people we encountered were pleasant so no issues there. Also the bathrooms were nice, for public restrooms. He's had better burgers for less. I did really like the artichoke salad so that was a major plus. I had salmon added on to my salad which was tasty. (The waitress asked how I liked my salmon cooked which has never come up before. While I love sushi, I didn't know ordering salmon rare in a salad was a thing but she swore it was??) Went here Friday and was walked to the back dining area by the hostess. The whole area smelled of sewage so we asked to be moved. Sat up front by the bar which I actually loved. The vibes were great up there. The chairs however were tiny and made of heavy metal. Wow, all of this time of waiting has come to an end. The atmosphere definitely speaks while entering, with so much decor and cleanness. It's a pleasure seeing it throughout the whole experience. We were fortunate to come at a good time and sit right as we entered. It had a decent crowd but not so much in a very loud setting, instead soothing in terms of indoor voices. Our waitress was very attentive and answered questions. Ordering our food was no issue and within 15 minutes, our food came out, which is the fastest I've seen in up scaled restaurant. Everything seems to move quickly. The menu offers quite a variety, and I opted for the Mac Burger which comes with fries, all had a great taste. Also for the side, I ordered the Warm Butter Biscuit, which in my option, had the KFC taste but was even better. I recently visited this restaurant and I have to say, the experience with KATIE was amazing! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner date. This is my husband and I happy place for a night out!. Now let's talk about the food. Wow, the flavor was incredible, and the presentation was gorgeous. I highly recommend the shrimp toast (our favorite) and the potato Truffle croquettes recommended by Katie. Went for lunch a couple of weeks ago with a friend. She had two appetizers and I had the roast chicken with chimichurri sauce on it. Usually their food is good and I don't have complaints but this time the chicken was bland and the chimichurri sauce tasted like it was only parsley and oil. There was no taste of garlic salt or anything else I would not say it was disgusting, but it was not pleasing on the palate. When I explain to the waitress that the chimichurri sauce taste only like parsley. Her reply was well as made with parsley not the response. I need it or want it so I took the whole thing home figuring I could fix it and after trying to put salt in a few seasons on it, I gave up and threw the whole thing away. A waste of money. read more
