    Mac & Cheese Burger ($17.99)
    Lisa H.

This textbook-looking diner sits right off I-84, appropriate name, right? It's huge and has a large parking lot to match. They are not open 24 hours though, closing between 9-10 PM depending on the day. In true diner fashion, the menu is a beast! For those who are very indecisive, you might want to add a couple of extra minutes to study the options. I ordered the mac & cheese burger ($17.99) since it was a more unique burger offering. I-84 burgers are 1/2 pounders consisting of a short rib brisket and chuck blend, in a grilled bun. I selected salad for my side, and I was pleased that it came out first since I was quite hungry. Part of my curiosity was reading on the menu how their mac & cheese was "famous" and used a three cheese combo. Well, the mac & cheese did not disappoint. Much of it had fallen off the burger but no matter. It had a great gooey but smooth texture and was fantastically cheesy. Look for the mac & cheese section on the jumbo menu for more offerings. Along with the menu, the portions are also mammoth. Our server and the cashier were very friendly. The restrooms were tidy. There's a discount if you pay by cash. Glad to have tried I-84 Diner!

A memorable bite of nostalgia with a generous portion of hospitality is the only proper way to describe the I-84 Diner. Our family has travelled all over the U.S., being fortunate to have dining experiences from Disney to the Grand Hotel, so our standard of comparison is high. From "Eye of the Tiger" playing in the background, to the on point mid-century furnishings, to the massive menu and front dessert display it made us forget 2026 exists! Most importantly, the service from our waitress Tina C. - who seemed able to make every guest feel like a welcome friend while keeping those plates moving - was truly one-of-a-kind! Clean, efficient and warm, it even satisfied a 17-year-old after a long day's haul in the car. Save your money and skip fake dining at places like like Disney. Visit this diner instead and enjoy an unforgettable serving of authenticity!

After a long drive from the Island, and a storm of biblical proportions, didn't feel like cooking; this is our go-to restaurant. Had a roast beef sandwich on rye. There must've been at least a half a pound of roast beef in there! See the photo. Service is always prompt. The place is always clean and inviting. I'm not a dessert person, but their pastries are eye-catching.

Came here withy my brothers and dad on the day after Black Friday. We found the staff to be friendly, the service to be quick, and the food was fresh and delicious. My dad was impressed with the salad with all the different mixed greens (not just romaine), my brother wished his Nutella waffle was just a tad more cooked, and I loved my buffalo chicken wrap! I subbed ranch for blue cheese and was impressed with the crunchy chicken and the cooked wrap. If this was closer to home, I would absolutely come back!

The first thing that struck me was the chrome facade was so shiny. As I entered the diner through a hallway leading up to the main floor, it was apparent that this place is kept sparkling clean. That made me know I was in for a treat. I have eaten here over the past week both for dinner and for breakfast. Good food, large portions and plenty of old time diner food and desserts. The menu is so large that you have to be able to find something to suit your taste. They also have Greek food, which is fabulous!beer and wine seal the deal. Service is friendly and speedy. Bathrooms are spotless. I have absolutely no complaints.

My husband and I happened upon this diner while out and about last weekend. Although we've passed it several times, we had never dined there. We were both pleasantly surprised, and had one of the most delicious breakfasts we've had in a while. Both the eggs and pancakes were cooked to perfection. The ambiance was lovely, and the place was spotless, bathrooms 5 stars. Our server was prompt and attentive. We will definitely be back!

He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).

It's counter service and there was already a bit of a line when we arrived around 7:15am (why were so many people already up and about?! lol). We loved that they had a great variety of options, including many vegetarian options. I went with the egg & cheese sandwich and accidentally ordered it without the greens & sauce (whoops!). However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. We also got a side order of fruit which, to my delight, was a bowl of berries! The fruit is seasonal so the combination might be different depending on what time of year you are visiting. Also, both of our coffees met our standards, which are a bit high these days. So kudos to them on that! The ambiance was absolutely incredible!!! Very well lit with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. We sat near the back of the restaurant (away from all windows), however we still felt like we were being flooded with sunlight. It was wonderful! Great spot for lunch!…read more My husband and I stopped in on our way back to our Airbnb after a long morning hike. This place is counter service, so we made our way directly to the register to place our order. Upon ordering, we were warned that it would be at least a 30 minute wait until our food was ready due them being short staffed. Although we were hungry, we weren't in a rush and truly appreciated the heads up! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and WOWZA! The sandwich was HUGE! I took a photo of my Gatorade bottle laying next to it for comparison (haha). I hardly ate half of it because it was so filling, however it was definitely delicious. My husband ordered a sandwich of his own (although I can't remember which one) and he was equally pleased. We also ordered a side of tots which were crispy and salty, just how I like them! My husband and I definitely could've shared one sandwich as we both don't eat a lot in one sitting, so this is something to keep in mind if you're reading this before your first visit here!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we chose to sit on the front patio. It was such a lovely atmosphere for lunch! Also, because we were sitting outside, they told us to come back in 30 minutes to check if our order was ready because we wouldn't be able to hear them call our name. All in all, a pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're in the mood for sandwiches.
