    My Grandson having fun
    Robyn P.

It's been a very long time since I've been to Chuck E. Cheese, but this is where my 8 y.o. grandson wanted to go for his 8th Birthday. We had a delicious pizza, and all three kids played games and/or rode on rides for about $50.00, which isn't that bad of a deal! All three of our Grandkids had fun ( Age 13, 8, 1). Staff were all friendly. There are a wide variety of games and rides available. The restaurant has several options available for food/game packages. The vibe is fun for the kids! Right now, they are playing Halloween music.

On phone instead of keeping the trampoline area safe.

I didn't order food as they are over priced. Some of the employees that work there do not care about Special need children. I bought a 60 min card and apparently you can only pause the card once or twice which means your forced to play the card so if I was you I would buy the points. I also bought the trampoline to jump all day. I didn't get the socks cause my child had grip on them already. So when we go to the trampoline place the attendant slams door on my child almost pushing him back and I said what's the problem. He said does he have wrist band and I said you wanna see receipt. And then he's like wheres his socks and I said lady in front said he don't need it. We argued. Not only that but he didn't ask any of the other kids where there socks or wristbands were. And then he just sits there on his phone. Instead of attending. I could sub poena video footage and show kids go in with no socks or wristbands from yesterday. This place likes to discriminate.

You can tell it was designed to be a special place, and on the surface, it truly is adorable. That said, my experience left me feeling uneasy, mostly due to cleanliness and supervision concerns. I witnessed multiple children putting toys in their mouths (which is totally normal for kids), but what was concerning was that those same toys were often placed right back into shared play areas. While I later learned there is a designated bin for toys that have been in kids' mouths, this wasn't communicated upfront, and I didn't see it being consistently used or enforced. There also seemed to be inconsistency when it came to staff involvement. Across my two visits, I did see some staff members actively cleaning up and returning toys to their proper places, which I appreciated. However, I also observed others simply picking up toys and dropping them into corners of the rooms without any real organization or sanitizing. I completely understand that keeping up with kids is a challenge--I'm a parent too--but that's where consistent staff engagement becomes really important. Another issue was the level of parental supervision. Many parents were on their phones while their kids played freely. Again, that's ultimately a parenting responsibility, but in a shared environment like this, it contributes to the overall hygiene and safety concerns. I also want to mention that I found the staff presentation a bit unprofessional, which added to the overall impression that things weren't being closely managed. To be fair, you do sign a waiver regarding illness, and I understand that no play space can be completely germ-free. However, I did end up contracting chickenpox exactly 10 days after visiting, which makes me seriously question the effectiveness of their cleaning and sanitizing practices. Overall, this place is incredibly cute and full of potential. With more consistent staff involvement, clearer communication, better sanitization systems, and encouragement for parents to stay engaged, it could be an amazing environment. Right now, though, it falls short of what it could and should be.

What started as buying a simple day pass, just trying to get active again after a few years, turned into something that completely changed my routine and mindset. I have to give a special shoutout to Obie. She is honestly the reason I keep my membership active. Her classes truly challenge you, but in the best way. They push you, encourage you, and somehow make you appreciate yourself and all the hard work you've put in. Obie is genuinely such a huge motivation. Her well-being, her demeanor, the way she carries herself, and the way she teaches really inspire you to be better. She's a true inspiration. After my very first class with her, I walked straight to the front desk and signed up for a membership. Every class feels like you're transforming your life for the better. She reminds you that your best is truly enough, no matter what, and that mindset has stayed with me beyond the gym. And the community that comes with it is just as special. I'm naturally a little shy, but the ladies here have truly helped me come out of my shell. Now I find myself wishing everyone a good morning when I walk in, even if I don't know them. They're always the first to offer advice or helpful tips when you're trying a new class, and they're just so kind and encouraging. I'm so grateful I found this place. I absolutely love it.

Overall we had fun, the facilities were clean, and the staff were helpful when needed. I purchased the gold pass and said I'd play a bit but didn't need everything like my daughter for a total of $42 for both of us. I'm not sure exactly what I got charged for because I didn't keep the receipt, rookie mistake. It was a busy Sunday and lots of parties happening so there were literally children of all ages everywhere. I didn't even get to jump out of fear of bouncing a kid to the ceiling on accident. I noticed that that staff within the trampoline areas simply march around and pace back and forth I suppose looking for children to assist. However for the most part they were just getting their steps in and not really paying attention. Additionally a few not all looked super unapproachable and would smile at all. There was a girl with bangs who was working the rock wall, and assisting with harnesses, she was super cool. She made sure kids were smiling and offered tips for the structures and always had a smile. So we'll be back and hopefully on a less busy day so I can jump too...

So, this summer, I signed her up for private softball lessons at D-BAT with Coach Jayme, and I honestly couldn't be happier with that decision. After just one lesson, my daughter's confidence skyrocketed. She was tracking the ball better, rotating her glove correctly, and finally beginning to understand the fundamentals of catching. In one session with Coach Jayme, she learned more than she had during an entire season of Little League. The biggest change, however, wasn't mechanical. It was her confidence. She enjoyed that first lesson so much that she begged me to sign her up for the week-long softball day camp. As the week went on, I watched her excitement for the game continue to grow. She wasn't just getting better--she was falling in love with softball. As for D-BAT itself, the facility has been excellent. The pro shop is well stocked with softball and baseball equipment, sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and even baseball cards. There are plenty of batting cages available for rentals, lessons, and camps, and everything has felt organized and welcoming every time we've visited. There are also bleachers and sitting areas for parents to watch. We're still new to the softball world, so I don't have years of experience comparing facilities. What I do know is this: My daughter asked where she could get better. We brought her to D-BAT. She left believing she could. As a parent, that's about the highest compliment I can give. We'll definitely be back.

Also did not like that they used our full government name for the leaderboard (especially bc this was sent via email)- would've liked the option for an alias or just first names. The VR game was very immersive (reminded me of Disney's VOID but scaled down). The racing simulator and 7D experience was just ok.
