Hope you weren't expecting salad with your salad or reduction sauce with you Mozz

Place was one of the best around. Last few times we've ordered absolutely disappointing. So many places start great and then just seem like the passion is gone or something. Not sure if it's management or workers that just don't care. But definitely will not be ordering from them again.

Brooklyn Pizza. With pepperonis, sausage, onions, black olives.

Best Pizza I have ever had. Pepperonis, Italian sausage, black olives, onions..Wow. Not over sauced. Crust was crisp, but not too. New to Goodyear. Will definitely be back. Great job NYPD

I finally found my go-to pizza place in the far west valley!! Our friends picked up some pizza on Pie day so lots of places were pretty busy but you'd never know with the attitude of the staff at NYPD. We also had no idea they closed at 8 and called a little before to order they said no problem and were happy to make it. The customer service was awesome and the pizza was so good!! My husband is a bbq chicken pizza connoisseur & he loved it! It was loaded too, every piece had plenty of chicken & onions. The pepperoni was perfect, not too greasy, not too thin, good amount of sauce, flavor, even the crust, I added some crushed red pepper to mine. We were really satisfied and hope to dine in soon!

You can't go wrong with NYPD pizza the crust and dough are good and the toppings as well. Every time I've been inside to pick up my food to go the staff has been great very helpful and nice . I try to go here every time I see there is a sale or special going on and always will can't wait to stop by again for another pizza.

    Traditional New York Baked Ziti

I have previously reviewed this place glowingly, and the last 2-3 times we've been there it's been a near disaster. Pizza coming out undercooked, food being served out of order, and tonight was the last straw. Soda was flat. Food took over 40 minutes to arrive; my baked zitii was bordering on cold, meatballs hard & dry (old?), and the plating / presentation looked miserable. (See my photo!) I have never seen such a decline in food quality over the last few months; seems like every pizza comes out late and undercooked. Service is clearly massively stressed because the kitchen is blowing it-- our server was kind and doing her best to salvage a terrible experience.

Wasn't impressed. Did not enjoy. Ingredients didn't reach the edge of the dough. Not even close.

So I decided to look for an alternative..not only was the price here decent, the reviews on their fettuccine were fairly high and complementary. I decided to place an order. I added grilled chicken, which was one of the offerings of add-ons. Unfortunately I cannot agree with the reviews before me, this was definitely more like a lean cuisine and although the price was right, it is gonna go mostly uneaten and in the trash. Now if you're looking to feed a couple kids and they enjoy fettuccine Alfredo, I would definitely recommend this. The portion is huge. Just omit the chicken. It's just thin sliced frozen yuck. Also, no cheese, no silverware, no napkins included in the order.

Important to note that deep dish pizza takes 30-40 minutes to make so only order if you aren't famished. We got a 14 inch deep dish pizza with two toppings. It cost $33.40 (includes tax and tip). The menu lies about this serving 4-5 people... It has 8 slices and both of us finished a total of 6 slices really it serves 3 people; 4 at most. As for the deep dish novelty, I can say that it is a messy affair with the cheese and toppings all sliding off to the side; you'll need some utensils to avoid getting so much mess on your hands. However, the crust was delicious.

It was fairly busy, but we were able to find a few seats at the bar. Our bartender was pretty quick getting us menus and drink orders. We'd eaten a bit earlier so we passed on food. The menu does look pretty good with wings, pizza and appetizers. I was a bit bummed because they don't offer any sour beers or even ciders. The closest I could get was a seltzer. No white claw or anything, but a few flavors of Nutrl I believe it's called. They had of course hard alcohol and regular beers on tap. The location was clean, but could use a little upkeep. Service was friendly our entire time there and we chatted a bit about the bars history. It's been there a few years, changed names in the last couple years, and is separate from the motel though they do rent the space from them. Nothing too fancy but if you're looking for a little hole in the wall to watch a game or have a drink you may enjoy this spot. The lot is old and could use a clean up. It wasn't for me as they don't offer much I like to drink, but still a great option for someone to have a draft/drink.

That's basically a daily period where they clean their coal ovens and can't sell pizza. Womp womp. Not today though! We were seated quickly and given a seat right near the oven, so we got to watch the pizzas being whipped up. We started our meal with the strawberry spinach salad. It was really good and had a nice dressing on it. Decidedly the perfect salad for summer. For our pizza, we had the Brooklyn Bridge with extra cheese. Despite having visited Grimaldi's many times in the past, I had never tried this pizza. I loved it! We showed up around 4:30 pm on a Monday without checking ahead, and the place didn't appear to be busy. The hostesses put us on the waitlist, and we ended up hanging out for about 20-25 minutes before getting seated. They have a decent bar area and some outdoor patio space, so it's not miserable, but it dragged on longer than expected for a casual pizza night. Once we finally sat down, though, the pizza made it worth it. We ordered 2 large sausage pizzas. The crust was thin, crispy, and perfectly charred from the coal oven, super authentic New York style vibes. The sauce had great flavor, cheese was fresh and stretchy, and the toppings weren't skimpy. Everything tasted super fresh, and the portions are generous. Service was friendly once we were in, and the atmosphere is cozy with that old-school pizzeria feel. Think NYC meets RatPack. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Would I go back? Yeah, the pizza is that good. But next time, I'll plan better to avoid the long wait or maybe do takeout. If you're in the area and don't mind a potential line, definitely worth it for real-deal pizza.
