Normally I'm against machine service, but this location makes a good case for it. The new location is cool and a nice upgrade, but the staff and in particular the manager are lifeless, rude and seem to have a genuine dislike of humans, in particular kids and families. This seems like an odd fit for a Chuck E. Cheese. It's hard to imagine poorer, more unkind service. Zero effort and zero pride in their work. At least robot helpers could be programmed to be kinder. Perhaps it is that bad of a job or maybe the owner should do a better job in hiring. Sadly it brings down what is otherwise a nice family experience. read more

I was excited for the new location because it was clean and had functional games. The previous location (which I am told is the same owners and team) had everything not working. Anyway, the service here is awful. I gave it two stars because it's clean and the older Hispanic woman with bangs and glasses was so sweet and helpful and apologetic about everything. They have her working like a dog. I see other employees including the curly red hair manager just standing around and nobody helping. Just to check in I waited 20 min. Nobody is checking your kids stamp. They hardly stamp as it is. They run out of pizza before noon. Run out of several flavors of dip n dots. The manager was rude too. The other employees were nice just not very helpful except for the older woman I mentioned previously. Kinda regret paying for a pass because this place is awful. Maybe I'll use it at Costa Mesa location because the manager there is actually nice and they never run out of things. read more

We visit this Chucky Cheese about once every 2-3 weeks. It is clean inside and fun for the kids. We have passes so it is super affordable and easy to go to. The check in and food wait time is very slow but once you are in and get your food, it is a good experience. Chucky Cheese himself comes out regularly so the kids look forward to that. They took out my son's favorite games but there are still a few that keep his attention. The skee ball games seem to be broken most of the time and that is a bummer because that is mom's favorite game. Boo-hoo! They made my daughter cry because they said they ran out of cotton candy dip n dots, but then 2 minutes later they had them.

I would give them a 0 if it was possible. From the time I walked in until it was the time to go which was an hr and a half me and my 5 yr old waited for our food (so I ended up having to take it to go) I watched "other ppl" grab their food while we waited. Once I got the food over an hr later the fries were cold, chicken was stale and the cheese bread was extremely salty and nobody apologized for the wait. Just to be clear me and my child were the only minorities in the building. I don't usually feel targeted but today i definitely did. We won't be going back. I was waited on by a really nice young man named Antonio he got me a good deal for a child that I had there that I was bringing for just the day he came and asked me if the food was good he went and got me napkins he was very helpful I thought he was manager because of how helpful he was. Haven't been to Chuck E cheese in a long time so I didn't realize that your card when you use it if you win anything it goes on to your card the only thing is how do you know that it is going on to your card cuz sometimes these machines don't work that's my only question especially when the kid playing thinks he's getting points. They're definitely more pricier than they used to be but if it's just once in awhile I guess spending money there is okay. Anyway thank you Antonio for being so nice. read more

The STAFF is AMAZING ! example: our son had won a prize - the staff gave him his prize he then got so excited and was assembling the toy and then it broke , my husband fixed it but it had a dent, the staff member just gave him a new one anyways and he was the happiest ever! Now that's customer care and service!!!! The staff is super kind about helping with broken games and giving us tokens for the ones lost The place is very well kept and clean Their pizza is always bomb ! The only reason why I give them a 4/5 is because they need to add more games But overall I love this location! We came back and had my son's birthday party here for the FIRST time & it was such an amazing experience. TRUST ME when I tell you that the staff went over and beyond to make our day the best, easiest and carefree day EVER! Everyone at our party was well cared for The staff were all so helpful and hospitable with us and our guest! This was my last stop on my Uber Eats shift so I thought well this should be a breeze, food chain, plenty of parking, should be sufficient staff to help me get in and out quickly. If there's something my mother taught me that's stayed with me it's to never jump to conclusions. I walked in to this bizarre place (seriously I was never into a giant rat walking around food as a kid) a chicken robot singing on a stage and employees zooming past me too busy to greet anyone except for the guy in front of the door. I walked up to the front counter to ask for my delivery and there was no one there. Chuck E should invest in some self service check in screens at this point because I waited approximately 10 min for a staff to come by and help me out. During these 10 minutes a line of unruly kids and checked out parents waited behind me as well. During the time span there was a young man who was handling the prize register station, he was extremely busy so I of course didn't expect him to help me right away. A young woman walked out from the kitchen wearing a onesie and also walked past the growing line of guests without greeting anybody but instead asked the young man (Jesse) to split himself into two human beings and handle both the front counter AND the prize counter. Now, I haven't worked in customer service for a couple of years and I don't ever plan on returning for this simple reason. In who's mind does it make sense to ask an individual to leave a post where he is actively helping one guest to help another? There is an obvious lack of management skills here as well as organization of staff. One guy was aimlessly wandering the floor, one was for God knows what reason at the door. Im going to give the manager free game here but in matters where it's extremely busy I think its ok to sacrifice a door greeter in order to help customers waiting in line. I do want to thank Jesse for spreading himself thin and undergoing the unnecessary stress that this job requires of him. Thank you for still having the decency to greet me, help me and communicate with me because it's obvious your shift lead is still learning these simple human qualities. read more

Chuck E. Cheese is awesome. This place is great but the ticket values do not get you much in terms of redemption. If they bring back the animatronics they will have repeat customers due to nostalgia. There are other places that still have ball pits (Main place mall Candeeland). Check them out for a true Chuck E. Cheese style experience. read more

Smells Horrific. Dirty. Unorganized. I saw 3 people working the entire time i was there. We had to wait at least 5 minutes at the entrance gate to get in and then wait to leave. The games are in horrible condition and absolutely filthy. Most of the games were those weird coin pusher type games.. strange assortment to be quite honest. My Grandson had his 8th Birthday party the 2nd week of December '23. The staff was great, the food was good and had loads of fun. I wanted to give much appreciation to the whole team at Chuck E Cheese in Huntington. I can't remember everyone's name. But from the greeters when my son and I arrived. To the manager when we left, deserve 10 stars. My son had a great time on his 1st time at Chuck E's. However, at the end like many kids had a tantrum of all tantrum when we left. Of course as I was in Dad mode I lost a few items one of them was our Points Card (and son's shoes once again Dad moment wife should have been with me..lol..) Very bad experience today. 1st nobody at front counter to take orders. 2nd order is placed but receipt that goes to kitchen did not print all the way so guess what they did they did not cook our order. Instead of locating us they forgot about us. So now we are waiting for an order that's not coming out. So 45 minutes pass I go ask and that's when I knew that hey we didn't even cook it. Chuck E Cheese has a niche with families with you g kids. What differentiates them is the location, the size, and the available entertainment. This location has a lot of variety when it comes to the toys that the kids can play with. They have a tunnel slide which very few have nowadays. They also have a closed off toddler area which is awesome is you have smaller children. When I'm in the area, my kids really enjoy this location which keeps me bringing them back. read more

STAY AWAY!!! We hosted our son's 3rd bday here last Saturday. The party itself was good and everyone had fun but within 36 hours, both of my kids got violently ill from food poisoning. We didn't think much of it until we found out that several other guests at the party did too. In all, 5 adults and 8 children, out of a total of 25 people at the party, got sick. OC Health Department is now involved and we have heard very little from Chuck E corporate office. Very disappointing read more

I hadn't been to a Chuck E Cheese's since I was a kid! Now that I have a little one, we decided to celebrate her first birthday here. They set up and clean up for you, provide entertainment for the kids, so we virtually don't have to do anything or plan any entertainment! Besides the delicious pizzas they make here, this place has changed a whole lot from what I remembered coming here as a young troublemaker. They have stuffed crust pizzas (my FAVE), chicken wings, salad bar, appetizers, and the best part.. They now serve BEER and WINE! Hallelujah!! Alejandro helped with our pre-planning and Nathan was our helper on the day of the party. Both were incredibly friendly and helpful. It wouldn't have been such a successful party without their support. We were even allowed to set up a cake table! Chuck E Cheese's is NOT overrated!! It actually lives up to the hype I remembered it being 20+ years ago. Those giant robotic characters on stage still do scare the living bejesus outta me, but otherwise the games are fun, place is clean, service is friendly, and food is good. My only complaint would be that some of the games didn't work properly (the dancing game with the dance pad had broken stomp pads that didn't register), some of the games needed the ticket reels replaced so we didn't get some tickets when we played. But overall, everyone had a great time, even the grown-ups. I mean, maybe I'll celebrate my birthday here next LOL. read more
