I brought our Cub Scout pack here for a family bowling night, it started small but we ended up rolling ~40 deep. I was worried they may not be able to accommodate, but they were happy to take us. We had a lot of first time bowlers (kids and adults alike), and they had lots of questions, requests, etc. Again, the staff handled it like pros. Their snack bar was well stocked, and they have a handful of arcade machines. The place is modern and clean, from the floors to the restrooms, and there's seating in the rear with a pool table and a room for birthday parties and such. On the outside it appears quite small, but they did a good job maximizing the space. More importantly though, their staff were friendly and handled our group like they do this regularly - friendly and knowledgable. We will certainly be returning in the future, and I hope you do as well. :) read more

We were able to get five lanes for two hours access to their both their pool tables and their hockey table and we were able to bring some outside food in to host in a little area in the back. I always seem to forget that we had a bowling alley down the street from us. It is an excellent place. If you just wanted to kill some time and I think the rates are quite reasonable, especially since the rentals are included. The services as good as can be and it's always kept clean. My family and I decided to come here for a family afternoon of bowling. We went on a Sunday around 2 PM and they had plenty of lanes available for us however it's a very small bowling alley and by 3PM it was packed. Who knew how many people would go bowling on a Sunday afternoon! We bowled for about an hour and had an absolute blast! There's plenty of balls light enough for me, my sister and my niece to pick up. I will say towards the end of our game the pins got stuck, so it was good that we were on our very last round. It did seem that throughout our time there other people were having problems with the pens getting stuck and/or the balls getting stuck not sure if that's common here or not but that's what happened this particular day. After bowling, we thought we would try our luck at pool. Again this place is small so they only have two tables..when we went to get our pool sticks there was a family in front of us that was large enough to need both tables so we were not able to play today. We switched it up and went to try air hockey. I've always loved air hockey, but honestly, this table might need to be replaced it did not have enough air coming out which made the game extremely hard. Overall, I thought it was a great time!! It's not ridiculously expensive. And the interiors are festive and perfect for this environment. They have pinballs and all sorts of carnival style games. They also have a restaurant where you can order drinks and food. It just seemed like everything was easy .... so I thought it was great! Was here for kid's bday so it was great for them to play together. Fountain Bowl was completely packed for hours due to a bunch of leagues that were playing, so my friends and I went over to Valley View Lanes instead. Honestly when we pulled into the shopping center I had no idea where this place was. I just saw a bunch of shit packed into one tiny shopping center and then sandwiched right in between the movie theatre and a restaurant was Valley View Lanes. Not only is this place hidden, but it's also quite deceiving. It looks super small from the outside. I thought to myself, "How the hell is there a bowling alley in this place? It's gotta be like 4 lanes tops." But no, when you walk in, it really opens up and has a full-on bowling alley set up, along with a few arcade games, and a kitchen serving up standard bowling alley fare. The place was empty aside from another kid's birthday party, so they were able to accommodate our large party right away which was nice. I'm not going to mince words here. The food was pretty bad, especially the "buffalo" wings. I was avoiding carbs, so this was the only option on the menu. They were bone dry and a few were a bit burnt. Absolutely zero flavor aside from the ranch I had to dunk them in which was necessary to lubricate them before eating them. They advertise karaoke outside on their sign, so naturally when drunk Kurtis comes out he has to karaoke. Unfortunately the employee said they don't offer Karaoke and he wasn't sure why it says it on their sign. I was pretty disappointed, but I wasn't surprised either. Aside from dedicating all the space to bowling, I also wondered how the hell they'd be able to do karaoke too. They could barely fit a few arcade games in here. No way they'd do karaoke unless it was the type where you get up on stage and sing in front of everyone (hate those). I'm not a bowler or anything. In fact, I really stink at bowling so I can't speak for that part. Aside from that though, the place is alright at best. The food could really use some work though. read more

$45 dollars per hour for bowling.... A pretty high price if you ask me. You also pay per rented pair of shoes separately, and if you want socks, there's another added fee. They do have specials for cosmic bowling from 9-11pm. You have to reserve your spot 30 minutes before and you pay by the hour. Cosmic bowling is $12 an hour. The food is ok. There's limited amount of snacks and beer at the concession stand. There's about 15 lanes over all, with bumpers and special equipment for children and handicap people. Overall it's ok for a neighborhood bowling alley. The price per hour did catch us by surprise. read more

Pretty cool little place to go do some bowling. Not the best bowling alley I have been to but it for sure gets the job done. It is quite small inside and there are only like twelve lanes or something like that. They also have a few arcade games setup towards the entrance and a few air hockey tables, as well as pool tables. They even have karaoke rooms which I did not expect. Pretty good time and they have something for everyone. Mind you, we only played one hour of bowling but it was still fun. The place is also pretty clean which is always welcome and the music they were playing was decent. A lot of stuff from the 2010s but it's all good haha. I liked how they have free water too. You can get a water cup from the food counter and they will even give you a pitcher of water to take back to the lane. This place deserves an outstanding score/rating! They had outstanding service, excellent food choices, a great selection of arcade games, very clean business, good music and the noise level was just right. When I got there, the place was full but Maria was so kind, polite and helpful. I had a group of 12 and she tried to accommodate us best she could. Only one lane was open but another one was going to open in 30min and asked if I wanted to wait or start whenever I decided to do so. Our party was hungry so we went ahead and got the one lane and waited for the other one while ordering food. I was a little skeptical about the pizza at first but Laura assured me that it was good and their dough was freshly made. I must say, their pizza was very good! All of my party loved it!! Our family came here after searching for a family friendly place in the area. Only to show up to two different locations "campus Billard" where we found out that they have games for all ages but only if you're over 21. We were desperately seeking to find a fun location for adults and our 6 year child. We found a place called "rock 'n' brew" in Buena park because of the family friendly environment and play area for kids. Once we got there, we were told that the play area no longer existed. So we decided to just go to a place where we have been before and knew we would have a good time. We were met with amazing and friendly service by Maria, Alexa, Brian, Laura and Freddy. They made us feel welcome and helped us enjoy the night. This will definitely be our go to when we go out for a family night. read more

We really love coming here! I would say we've been here about 15 times since it opened. Bowling, arcade games, pool tables, karaoke.. all the entertainment! We really like the homemade pizzas made in their cute pizza ovens, the wings are really good and the pretzel with cheese is a fave of ours. We tried some of their desserts tonight for the first time and they did not disappoint, not a bite of anything was leftover. During the week they have GREAT pricing for bowling. We have come during the week, on the weekend, for bday parties, when it's rainy weather or when it's too hot outside. Staff is always very friendly and very helpful. We celebrated my birthday at Valley View Lanes, and it was a great experience from start to finish! My wife and I took our two kids and a one of their friends on a spontaneous visit--no reservations--and we were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of open lanes, even though the place was recently remodeled and looked really inviting. The staff was outstanding. Adam checked us in and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly--can't say enough about how gracious he was! We also grabbed some garlic chicken wings, which were pretty tasty. The food and drink selection overall was solid, especially the beer options (even though it was somewhat limited, choices were good). If I had to nitpick, I'd say the AC could be turned up a bit--it was a little warm and stuffy at times. Also, while the music playlist was good (awesome 80's music), it was a bit short and started repeating about every hour. That said, we had a great time, and I'm honestly surprised this place isn't more packed. Valley View Lanes is a hidden gem, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend! read more

We had an amazing time here for my daughters' birthday celebration. Very clean, family friendly, and chill atmosphere. Making a reservation for the party was easy and simple, over the phone, and convenient. On the day of the birthday celebration, Maria checked us in, helped us get settled and even found a misplaced cellphone. She really saved the day for us, especially our teenaged guest. Our nine teenagers bowled for 1 hour and play arcade games... Literally, it was so perfect! We ordered 3 pizzas, which were made fresh to order and came out about 20 mins after we order. We made a reservation over a week ago for our child's birthday party, and the date and time were confirmed while we were on the phone with the front desk. However, when we arrived today, the doors were locked, and no one was answering the phone. We stood outside with our guests for over 30 minutes with no communication or explanation. Not only were we unable to access the facility, but our deposit was already processed. This was incredibly disappointing and frustrating -- especially for a child's birthday. I call you guys and ask what time you close, you tell me 10pm, but doors close at 9pm to bowl. I show up at not even 8:30, and the automatic doors are closed? that's over a hour 1/2 before closing time. The team working was very attentive and helpful. We ordered pizza and some snacks and the lady at the register was very sweet. We had a Social Outing on 10-10 for 25ish people! The staff here is truly amazing! We got there at 730pm and we had our Reserve lanes ready to go! I showed up, paid and we all played with no issues! The Food there is delicious. I was able to try out the pizza, and it was good! We slammed the kitchen at one point and I saw the staff get together and help each other. Music was great. Not too loud, and we could hear all of us talking. We also rented out a couple of tables of Billiards and that was fun! Visited this place on a Friday night for bowling. They had 13 lanes and price per hour which I personally think is more worth it than per game. They have 2 pool tables charged per game. Pool tables are too close to each other. There's 3 karaoke room that we tried. The karaoke part is not the best as they don't have a traditional song book. Instead, they give you an ipad to play the song you want. I didn't enjoy because you literally have to know the exact song you want. Even if you type in a genre or artist, there's very little suggestion that would come up. The quality of the mic isn't the best as well. But overall, I like the place. It is clean and quite a few things to enjoy and play. read more

Wow! This place received a much-needed face-lift! The previous lanes were brightly lit and had more lanes. It had the snack bar, arcade, bar, and pro shop. The new lanes are less lit. I'm guessing for ambiance. There are not as many lanes as before. This one has 14 lanes. Before the remodel I think it had at least 22 lanes. What I did notice is that parts of it are still under construction. The arcade is still getting up and going. Some games are not yet plugged in. There is a snack bar and you can buy alcohol there unlike before. Once you walk in, you notice a projection on the wall to your right. There is usually a game showing there. I didn't notice a pro shop there, but I did notice 3 karaoke rooms in the back! Honestly, they look small, but a lot of fun! There is also a stand up and dine area opposite the snack bar as well as a few sit down booths. This place looks really fun and it will likely serve the area well. I'm not sure if they have the summer program for kids that they used to. It was kind of like you pay for a certain number of times you can go during the summer. We used it and it was a lot of fun! Rental prices- I can't speak for pricing because I didn't ask. I'm also not sure if you're able to have birthday parties there since I did see limited seating space. Give them a try! I don't even know where to start talking negative about this place. Went on a Saturday evening/night bowling was $45 per hour, had five people bowl for two hours and was barely able to play two games, we were very attentive to who's turn it was and barely able to go to the bathroom, there is no way to pause the timer on bowling even to go and order food. Bowling ball got stuck numerous times and had to wait for the only 3 employees working to continue bowling, wasting even more time. Went to get food and was told it would take 45mins for nacho cheese to be warmed, only have an option for 6 piece chicken wings only being able to get one flavor. Eat before or after better off. Almost half of the arcade machines are broken down or not plugged in. Despite them having so many lanes available they choose to put everyone next to themselves so the employees don't have to clean more then needed. I don't see this place staying open for much longer. read more

Well worth every penny! The lanes were nice and clean. The bumpers can be set-up for individual players and there were "bowling lizards" to help kids push their bowling balls. I liked that the snack bar used buzzers to let you know when your food was ready (versus other bowling alleys that call you over their PA systems). There was also an air hockey and a pool table in the back. We went on a Tuesday afternoon between 4-6pm and it wasn't busy at all, which was nice, compared to other loud, dark and crowded bowling alleys. read more

A group of us reserved 2 lanes at Valley View Lanes for an hour of bowling. With shoes rentals, it's about $15 a person (this was my first bowling outing in over a decade, so I can't say if that's a going rate or not). All the equipment was either new or very well kept, and we had a fairly smooth time. We did have a mechanical and software issue a couple of times with our lanes, but the employees were pretty prompt in fixing them. The interior is a sort of wacky, bright aesthetic, and everything was well maintained. Down a hallway there's a ping pong table and karaoke rooms, although we didn't use those. They also offered us a pitcher of water and cups to use midway through the game. I'm not sure if this location offers any actual food and drink, but there wasn't a bar or restaurant area inside. read more
