I've been to a few Chuck E. Cheese locations in Orange County and I have to say this is probably my favorite one. My family and I were here on a Sunday morning and had a great time. The front area had multiple staff members to take orders so we didn't have to wait long to order our food and our game credits. The play area is kind of separated into two... One area with all the arcade games and another area for birthday parties and the adventure zone with a few other games and rides. This location offers a huge variety of different games and everything was really clean and in working order. Our kids enjoyed the pizza and fun! We will be here again very soon. read more

Went to Chuck E. Cheese last week for a team soccer party. I was pleasantly surprised that the seating area was not as loud as other locations I have visited. It may have been because the games and most of the kids were further away, but it made it much easier for the adults to actually talk. Everything appeared clean and well maintained. The pizza was okay, about what you would expect. We added the salad bar, which was also decent, though I do wish there were a few more options. It worked fine for something other than pizza. We had a two hour game card, and that was definitely the highlight of the visit. The kids were able to play a lot of games without constantly running out of credits, which kept everyone happy and entertained. Overall, it was a solid spot for a team celebration. read more

My family and I aren't fans of the new location. Our friends aren't either. Every time we visit the new location, there is trash or food all over the tables. That's not an exaggeration. I have to use my wet wipes to clean the table and seats we want to sit on because they're so sticky with melted Dippin' Dots. The trash either doesn't get cleaned up by the time we leave or it takes a very long time for someone to come clean it. I had to go searching for napkins. Our area didn't have any. The booths are very uncomfortable and it's the most common complaint among our friend group. I used to love hanging out at the old location. We'd sit there for hours chatting with our friends while the kids play. Now we dread going. I miss the two different lanes for coming and going. That divider made it feel safer. We can't see our kids anymore. It can take minutes to find our kids vs the seconds it took at the old location. The machines are too close together. There's too many blind spots. It takes an eternity to get food here. We have to put our orders in right away to get food an hour later. This is on days when it's not busy. It's ludicrous. The repetitive content on the tvs drives us up a wall. We don't stay for very long like we used to. I don't know how or if the employees stay sane in this environment. We were all so hopeful for this new location. Now we all take our kids to Sky Zone because the seats don't hurt and we can easily see the entrance/exit. read more

Everything is so overpriced nowadays, but this place just makes you feel ripped off! I spent almost $100 for my 2 kids & I to get: 1 large pepperoni pizza, 2 soft drinks, 1 salad bar and 60 minutes of play time. The large pizza looked like a medium and didn't have that Chuck E Cheese seasoning that you crave. A lot of the games were either broken, shut down or just vanished in general. We started realizing that certain games were completely gone. And nothing to fill its empty spaces. It was no longer secure. The check-in gate was unattended the entire two hours I was there. We don't even get hand stamps today. We just walked in after standing there for a long time! And last but not least... the salad bar. I do give them credit for replenishing the toppings but what's with the lettuce not getting refilled? It was low and literally in a bowl of water with just little pieces floating around - so gross. We visited this Chuck E. Cheese twice in the last 3 days. The first visit was on July 4th. They were closing early so we didn't have much time to play. We didn't get to see Chuck E. at all. We were excited to see the animatronics. We explained we are not from the area, & that we didn't have anything like that back home. Employees seemed unimpressed and did little to make our visit special. They turned the games off, but they had not even given us all our food because one of the employees forgot to make one of the pizzas (I heard him yell this from the kitchen). A different employee lied about it, and she told us our third pizza had gotten stuck to the pan and had to remake it. In any case, to their credit, they did turn most of the games back on so the kids could at least play until they completed our order. After the last pizza came out, we promptly left with to-go boxes. However, once we had gotten it back to our motor home to eat the food, we realized that the boneless wings (we had ordered Louisiana Honey Hot) had no sauce whatsoever. They were completely dry. **shrug** We decided to try this place again today to give it another chance. We get it. It was a holiday. Employees wanted to get out & see fireworks too. So, this time Chuck E. Did come out a little after 1:30pm. We are just leaving now, and it is 3:38pm. That was the only time Chuck E. Cheese came out for meet and greet with all guests. Apart from that there was one birthday party, but he did not allow guests that were not part of the party interact with him. This is quite the contrast to Northridge and the Palm Desert Chuck E. Cheese locations where Chuck is super engaged with the children, comes out with great frequency (at least once an hour), walks through the arcade, and even plays games with the kids. My eldest son asked this Huntington Beach Chuck E. if he wanted to play Paw Patrol w/him. He was just completely ignored. That made me sad. I went up to the front desk to purchase trampoline time/socks for my youngest son, and the man at the front (Asian with glasses) had a physical reaction to my approach ... It was so obvious I asked, "Are you okay? You look like you are in pain!" The employee replied, honestly, "I was just like, DARN! Now I'm going to have to open the trampoline area!" "I'm sorry!" I exclaimed. Then I thought about it, realized what was happening, and decided it was ridiculous I was having to apologize to him for paying for/utilizing a service offered. What the heck, right?!? We stood at the prize stand for quite a while when it came time to leave. Two young brunette, Hispanic gals just stood there behind the counter, but neither offered to assist us. They walked away. Last time I visited was 5 years ago in 2019. Surprisingly, the majority of the games were the same and still running. I spotted about 2-3 new games put in since 2019. They now have two option to play...pay by time or by points. Every game requires one point to play. We decided to buy 30 points for $22 so we're not rushing from game to game. This comes out to about $0.73 per game play. Not too bad I suppose. One or two games didn't work but it was too much of a bother to hunt an employee down to help. The BBQ chicken pizza was tasty but only available in a large ($29). The salad bar was lacking for $13. Overall the place was fairly clean and restrooms were clean too. Returning is unlikely as the games were not exciting enough for my 10 & 12 yr old boys. A notable mention is there was almost no waiting on games on a Saturday (12:30-2:30pm) with 3 birthday parties. read more

Oof! I really wanted to be excited for this new location but as much as it is clean with new games, the service has gone down incredibly. We hosted two team parties on consecutive nights from 5 to 7 PM. This is not our first time hosting these parties and we know exactly how it is set up. Unfortunately, the staff is ill informed, clueless, and not well-trained to handle this volume. It took 1.5hrs to get our order of wings on Tuesday night, and 1hr for our team pizzas on Wednesday. I had to check in for the wings and there were several people waiting for their orders that took too long. While waiting, I saw a guy in the kitchen stab his hand through his glove with stabbing a ticket and then rinsed his glove and instead of removing the glove, cleaning and bandaging his hand and getting a new glove, he sauced the wings that took 90mins. During our team party last night, a staff member asked me what time we had arrived for our party. I informed him 5pm. This was 6pm and we were just getting our pizzas (that we ordered an hour prior) and when I went to get the last pizza, the staff member had cleared our table and moved our kids/party to a much smaller bar top style table right as we were able to finally sit down to eat. I told him we had the tables until 7 but he said he needed the table for a party at 6pm. After I brought this to the attention of the manager, he tried to reconcile with a free fountain drink cups. It has normally been a good deal for team parties but unless management, staff and the kitchen figure things out, we are going to have to face these seasonal team parties elsewhere. read more

The new location is cool and a nice upgrade, but the staff and in particular the manager are lifeless, rude and seem to have a genuine dislike of humans, in particular kids and families. This seems like an odd fit for a Chuck E. Cheese. It's hard to imagine poorer, more unkind service. Zero effort and zero pride in their work. At least robot helpers could be programmed to be kinder. I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the bad service I just got today, 1/1/2026. I was trying to order food and it was an older Mexican lady. She started great with greeting me, however, while taking my order, her friend came and interrupted us and she let it happen. She started talking to her friend instead and I asked her "can we please complete the order, I'm trying to do this quick because of my kids" and she was trying to justify and say the customer greeted her. Absolutely, I wouldn't make a big deal if it wasn't that they tried to actually have a conversation and because of that I had repeat my order again since she wasn't paying attention. How do I know they were friends? Because after my order was done, she went up to her, hugged and talked to her while also looking at me. On top of that, after the fact that I had asked if we can complete the order, her demeanor changed fully and she didn't even answer to me anymore. For example, I said that's the order, thank you. She didn't wanna say you're welcome or anything. She just walked away annoyed that I had asked her to please focus on the order. I usually go here even though I have another one closer to my house but this interaction with her probably will make me go back to the other one closer to my house. Ms. Bri is an absolute Rockstar! I am here rt now on a Sunday, and Bri is handling/managing so much of the business efficiently and patiently. We got here a bit b4 12pm, Bri ran over from the bday party that is going on, checked us in with the security stamps, ran back to the bday party, then ran to the register, took out orders, and then ran back to the bday party. While taking our order, Ms. Bri patiently took care of the game cards for 4 school-aged girls (while they were talking all at once) and an adult (we have the gold package). At no time did Bri show any anxiety or stress. She was cool, calm, and all smiles. I also just learned that Ms. Hannah is the manager during this shift - no wonder things are running so smoothly - apparently, Bri is Hannah-trained! Hannah is awesomely cordial and professional! I was excited for the new location because it was clean and had functional games. The previous location (which I am told is the same owners and team) had everything not working. Anyway, the service here is awful. I gave it two stars because it's clean and the older Hispanic woman with bangs and glasses was so sweet and helpful and apologetic about everything. They have her working like a dog. I see other employees including the curly red hair manager just standing around and nobody helping. Just to check in I waited 20 min. Nobody is checking your kids stamp. They hardly stamp as it is. They run out of pizza before noon. Run out of several flavors of dip n dots. The manager was rude too. The other employees were nice just not very helpful except for the older woman I mentioned previously. Kinda regret paying for a pass because this place is awful. We visit this Chucky Cheese about once every 2-3 weeks. It is clean inside and fun for the kids. We have passes so it is super affordable and easy to go to. The check in and food wait time is very slow but once you are in and get your food, it is a good experience. Chucky Cheese himself comes out regularly so the kids look forward to that. They took out my son's favorite games but there are still a few that keep his attention. The skee ball games seem to be broken most of the time and that is a bummer because that is mom's favorite game. Boo-hoo! I would give them a 0 if it was possible. From the time I walked in until it was the time to go which was an hr and a half me and my 5 yr old waited for our food (so I ended up having to take it to go) I watched "other ppl" grab their food while we waited. Once I got the food over an hr later the fries were cold, chicken was stale and the cheese bread was extremely salty and nobody apologized for the wait. Just to be clear me and my child were the only minorities in the building. I don't usually feel targeted but today i definitely did. We won't be going back.
