I have been to about 2 dozen trampoline parks in probably as many different states. Ranging from Maine to CA. I have NEVER been to a park where there wasn't an attendant at every station of the park. This is for SAFETY. In case anyone gets hurt. I've never been anywhere that there was only someone at the desk and people were set free to do anything, anywhere. 2. I've also never been anywhere that you were allowed to hold a child and jump. Ever. For obvious reasons. Mainly, the whole if you fall and hurt your child, thing. But, obvious safety is hard to wrap your head around. I will say, yes. The prices are a little steep. But, I think that is only result of lack of community support. Had the families in the area enjoyed this establishment as they do elsewhere, prices would be more reasonable. I did purchase what I felt was a COMPLETELY reasonable rate on groupon. As a matter of fact, I purchased another so we could have a playdate here this coming week. Robin and her team have done an amazing job bringing something to LC that I've heard over and over again there was a need for. We purchased tickets online. It was an easy transaction but most of all online user friendly. Their posted online address takes you pass its actual entrance location but it is obvious and once you do a u-turn its all good. We arrived early so parking was easy but for all the people who were arriving when we were leaving they parked across the avenue and had to walk a good while. We also encountered a long line to pick up the wrist bands but we were not in line any more than 5 minutes. Mesilla Valley Maze was beautifully decorated with plenty of activities for every member of the family. The one thing I loved the most were the picnic tables under the shade. They were perfect. Live Music, good food, slides, maze, pumpkin patch, pumpkin store (in case you don't want to go to the pumpkin patch), roping, etc.. They are CHILDREN. Two monitors in the "top area" were monitoring 5 year olds and in one case (we witnessed) dressed down a little 5 year old girl saying (angrily), "You need to stand in line!" without noting that the little girl was following her other 5 year old friends who went in 2 seconds before she did. The friends had told the little girl "follow me." The little girl was in tears and CRYING by the time she left this place. The tall, long dark haired (apparently) college girl never apologized to the little girl after it was made CLEAR to her by the girl's parents that she was out of line, and went on back to her "patrol" to find other children to scold, apparently. After witnessing this (separately, it happened to another family), we will never return to this place.
