We haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese in over 30 years, but having our 5 year old grandson visiting changed that. We assumed it would be messy and chaotic with mediocre food, but decided to take him anyway! What a surprise! We went in a Monday afternoon and were greeted by a smiling and patient employee who explained the process to us. Things have changed in 30+ years, but it's streamlined and efficient. There are no tokens, we bought a card that allowed our grandson to play unlimited games for an hour. You just tap the card to the machine and play away! The prize tickets are loaded onto the card as they are earned. That beats shoving rows and rows of tickets in our pockets and saves a tree or two! Also, you can have an employee put a pause on the card's time limit while taking a break, eating, or using the very clean restroom! We bought a pizza combo of 1 large 1-topping pizza, an order of cheesy bread, two drinks, and the 1-hour card for the games for $73. Using the trampoline is an additional $10, but you get some really nice non-skid socks. We thought it might have been a little pricey, but the fun our grandson had was well worth it. Plus, he spent his accumulated point on a cool whistle! This location was clean, everything was in working order, and the manager was very hands on. He was out amongst us cleaning up, making sure everything was going smoothly, and smiling the whole time. We will definitely be back! read more

My 6 year old nephew decided to have his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese and that's what we did! The staff were amazing and we had a blast! One of the favorite things we enjoyed was seeing Chuck E. Come out and engage with the children. I recall going to this fun establishment many years ago when I was a kid, and enjoying myself. I'm so glad they kept with tradition. The big screen playing Kidz Bop, have the feel of a live performance and it was lovely! The pizza is still good and the Unlimited drink refills kept the children happy. Lots of the machines were out of order. asked many employees to come to the counter to purchase an extra pizza while my time was running on my play card. Finally, the two girls in the back, decided to come to the counter together as they were gossiping about some nonsense. The straw container was left open for everyone to put their hands in and grab a straw. This Chuck E. Cheese was filthy. The rest were rooms in Ocala Location were filthy as well. I go to the one in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, all of the time, and it is very different . The restaurants in Dickson City are always clean and the staff is always helpful. read more

We had the pleasure to get the Summer Fun Pass for my niece and nephew. We had so much fun all summer, we didn't want the fun to end so we booked an end-of-summer party. We had an amazing time! This location is super clean, the food was delicious, and the games were great. It was safe, clean, and fun. Veronica, Erika, Amy, Stasia, Jaylin, the young gentleman at the ticket counter, and several other girls have been so kind, nice, and professional all summer long and this party really put it over the top! We had a great experience at our visit to Chuck E Cheese. All of the staff is very pleasant and helpful. There are multiple games for kids to play with and good food for the most part. Also, they now have e-tickets on a play pass which you take to the counter and the staff will scan to see if you have enough for a prize -- no more paper tickets. You can also choose to play either 30, 60 or 90 minutes. It is quite pricey especially for the food, but overall, we enjoyed our visit! :) read more

Tried to contact the company multiple times about the summer fun pass I bought my child. No one will call me back, when I did get someone on the phone they didn't know how to help me. Now they are not even picking up the phone today. When we got there the other day all the computers were down. It was my sons birthday and we all just had to sit there for 45 minutes till they started working again. So of corse the kids got sad and mad they were at Chuck E. Cheese and could do nothing. I got the $90 dollar summer pass and I downloaded the app. The barcode they gave me says invalid and when I punch in the numbers it says (read the picture I posted) . I tried to find the place to send a picture of my receipt to but it doesn't exist on the app and no one will pick up the phone at Chuck E. Cheese to talk to. Ocala Chuck E. Cheese is an hour away from me and I don't want to drive 2 hours to get a problem fixed that they could do over the phone if they would just call me back or pick up the phone that would be awesome! Do not buy the summer pass you will only have problems and honestly Chuck E. Cheese does not care at all if you are having problems. Let's face it sometimes Ocala is very boring. So for a little fun we headed over to Chuck E Cheese with the girlfriend and my kids. It was a lot cleaner then some of the other locations. The pizza was.. What you would expect from a chuck e cheese. Wasn't expecting a NY slice or anything. The selection of games was enough of a variety and a lot more then the other pizza game place here in town. Chuck E. Cheese is definitely a place for children of all ages! From the youngest toddler to the oldest young-acting adult this place offers some fun without the Florida sun! It also offers food and drinks. Food choices are the ever favorite kid's choice: pizza ( several to choose from besides cheese includes pepperoni, all meat combo, bbq chicken, cali alfredo which has alfredo sauce, spinach, mushrooms, sausage and chicken breast, super combo- a meat and veggie pizza plus my personal favorite vegetarian pizza that has black olives, mushrooms, red onions, green peppers and tomatoes with cheese). They also offer chicken wings, two different wraps- a chicken caesar wrap and a club wrap plus bbq chicken sandwiches and italian sub sandwiches both on a ciabatta roll. And if that isn't enough for you they offer a salad bar! Go there for lunch and they serve an all you can eat pizza and salad bar! Desserts are churros, giant warm cookie and a cinnamon dessert pizza. So everyone can eat and play all in one spot! Beverages offered are the usual fountain sodas, ice tea, bottled water and milk. It's not gourmet by no means but it IS convenient for parents not to have more places to stop! The main attraction is the one and only Chuck E Cheese who makes several appearances where children can dance along with Chuck E and shake hands. In between Chuck E Cheese show times everyone can keep busy and happy with all the games. Ride on rides for the younger children include choo choo train, arka ( noah's ark), jett rider, race car, ambulance, jett rider , lady bug and space ship are several popular choices. Of course each ride requires several tokens which you purchase upon entering store. Games for older children include basketball hoops, duo drive racing cars, raptor captor dinosaur game, treasure quest pirate game, soccer, fishing game and goal line rush football game to name a few. Each games then puts out tickets which a child can redeem for a little toy to go home with! They also have a tube slide with all kinds of twists and turns. Staffed with mostly teenagers and a adult manager- the customer service is fair, nothing to brag about. This location seemed to be clean except the rug really needed a good shampoo but I guess it's to be expected with children- all the foot traffic and spills- oops! Chuck E Cheese prides itself on children's safety - everyone in your group entering gets a hand stamp so children go home with you and nobody else. This is a great concept except for one thing- the hallway between rest rooms and dining/ play area has an emergency exit. This time I noticed that door was propped open with a trash can! Anyone could take a child out that door or a child could wander out that door by themselves! Next time I go I will be sure to check the exit- believe me!! So my recommendations are enjoy yourselves out of the hot Florida sun but ALWAYS be aware of where your child is at all times and check all exits! You never know what could happen in a blink of an eye! read more

Went in at an off time there was only two other people in the place. The two girls working acted like we were a bother to show up. The girl working the front register was rather snotty. We ordered a pizza and they didn't have the stuff they needed to make what we wanted so they offered a couple different options to make up for it. The girl seemed annoyed at what I chose. She was very short with us while my 3 year old picked his prizes. I was really irritated with their attitudes. I brought my daughter and was having a good time. She actually winning a lot of tickets. Than we changed games and I noticed a manager opening the machine after we went back to that machine. Instead of getting 20 to 40 tickets when she won. She go 4 when she won. I asked the manager why it changed. He said if to many kids are winning tickets they take away bonus or make machine harder to beat. What??? Is this a kids place or a casino?? The tickets are worth 1 penny for a double priced toy. Took my three nephews (5, 7, 9) there while I was in town for a visit. The front staff where nice. Over all, the place was clean, tables clean, bathroom clean. As for the pizza and nuggets, I can't say for sure. My boys have 3 of the smallest 'will eat' lists I've ever seen. So two small pieces of pizza and a nugget and maybe three fries got eaten in total. Which is not unusual. I didn't eat anything. My reason for the two stars rating are: There are only 5 ticket counter machines and they were constantly full or jammed. Tons of people waiting and waiting to turn in their tickets. They need twice as many ticket redemption machines. Next, its a rather small location, not what I'm used to with the ones I have in my area where I live. It seemed most machines worked, however some were either jammed or out of tickets, because I went to check on one of my nephews playing a coin drop game he'd been playing a while and asked him where his tickets where and he said he hadn't gotten any. I played a turn and got a bonus 20 and got no tickets. A while later, some kid played the machine and tickets were coming out. The biggest gripe came when it was time to collect prizes. There were three people behind the counter helping and one of the girls was helping a little boy get toys and she was practically throwing them at him over the counter. One flew across the counter and landed on the floor. She did say "sorry" but it was not sincere. Then the kids wanted ice cream from the vending machine, turns out you can't put your money in the machine, you have to go back to the front counter and pay them, and then they go in the back to get ice cream. We stood there for 5 minutes while the three at the prize counter continuously looked over at us and no one came over to help us. I finally went over there and asked if there was someone to help at the front counter, as there were also people lining up behind us waiting to be helped. One girl mumbled 'yeah', kinda turned around in a circle and went back to helping give out prizes. I waited a few of more minutes, and finally I went back to the kitchen area and called out "HELLO?!", "HELLO?!" and finally a man came out and I said is there someone at the front counter? We've been waiting for almost 10 mins by this time and that some people had even left. He said he would get someone. A person finally did come up, who was nice and helped us with the ice cream and cotton candy. But by this time the two boys who wanted ice cream had forgotten what kind they wanted and the machine was a ways away from the counter and there were people behind us, I just told the girl the 'ice cream cookie sandwich' as I didn't want to hold up the line. I've never had a bad experience at a CC, and although this wasn't a deal breaker visit, management absolutely needs to do an overhaul of staff attitude, add additional ticket counters and check games for ticket dispensing. It's been a long time since I've been to a Chuck E. Cheese but I remember them very different in south Florida. This is a nice place to play games & win tickets. We had a good time. My daughter is only one year old so I knew that it wouldn't have a whole lot for her but the rides for her age were cute. It's missing a ball pit! I don't know why they don't have some kind of slide/ball pit play area. It's all just basic games & toddler rides. Food was what you would expect at a place like that, pizza & appetizer food. Yesterday I visited the Chuck E. Cheese in Ocala. We were promptly greeted by Casey. She was very attentive. She prevented at least two meltdowns from my son. Once when he didn't like his ice cream, and again when we were leaving, he was just shy of the amount of tickets needed to get the prize he wanted. We travel all the way from Gainesville to come here. Employees like Casey are the reason we will continue to come back. read more

Walked in and noticed trash on the floor everywhere.I almost walked out but my kids had a rough morning at hospital so we gave it a chance.The kids had some fun but No one really came out to clean up for about an hour and then it was a half cleaning trash removed from table but not wiped off.The bathrooms Looked like and smelled like hell .When it was time to leave we had to wait about 10 solid minutes because you have to wait in same line as people buying food to go out so they don't have to pay another person to work door .Cheapness was on management they never have enough staff working to do the job manager walked around 3 times never picked up a single piece of trash I was a manager for years and was first to clean up.plus machines not giving tickets my son hit a jackpot of 200 and machine paiyed out 4 tickets for a 9 yr old that's like a gut punch said something to girl at front was told we did see him win no way to check then she just walked away. About a month and a half ago me and my friend visited the local Chuck E Cheese in Ocala on College Rd. We were amongst the first to arrive and after getting our drinks noticed that the drink station had mold in the ice dispenser. To avoid issue we served our drinks no ice then the drinks themselves appeared to have a mold as we saw black particles come from the nozzles. We threw our drinks away all together, and attempted to play games since we had already purchased our play pass card. Much of the games hadn't been cleaned at all. My son saw a giant dead roach underneath the Deep Sea Treasure game, which lead us to leave the facility. read more

I've taken groups of 20+ kids to this Chuck E. Cheese. The Manager is wonderful! The pizza has been drastically improved! The games are updated often and the kids just love to go there. The prices are fair and the security is awesome. I don't have to worry about losing a child and I can have fun too! I have nothing bad to say about this Chuck E. Cheese location. read more
