My mom started taking my three-year-old to this location to play different games. I decided to check it out for myself and I was not very impressed. I wish they had more games that were accessible to the younger crowd. My daughter enjoyed playing anyway because it's not about winning or being good or understanding the game, but I just wish some of the games were geared to the younger crowd and not just the indoor playground. Came to this location for a birthday party. We've actually been to this location before for other birthday parties as well and I do have to say they've improved the cleanliness and overall look inside. The staff assistant for the birthday party was so friendly and helpful! Some of the games ran out of tickets but we were able to locate staff to assist and refill the tickets. Only complaint is that a lot of the attendees for the party missed out on the singing of happy birthday and the serving of the pizza and cake because the intercom within the facility sucks! If you're off playing the games you don't hear the announcer calling for all party guests to come back-- facility is too loud with the games and kids running around. Recommend they fix this. Overall we all had fun...even the adults had a blast playing the games. The virtual reality roller coaster ride I have pictured was super fun! Like that Chuck E. Cheese has the unlimited play for amounts of time you can purchase rather than the old coin system. This makes it easier for the kids to keep occupied. read more

This really bothered me for my son and daughter's birthday after we had just had a hurricane back to back suffered severe damage and due to that not too many people were able to attend however was told through the customer service corporate office when called to see about booking a birthday party with Chuck e cheese explain the situation the lady on the other end was very rude they will not accommodate whatsoever this was a very special day for my son and daughter however unless I buy a huge package deal when the children are not able to attend due to a devastation on the state in our particular City she was not able to have Chucky come out to say happy birthday without paying for six children that cannot attend I expected to stay for a few however just not all six no accommodation whatsoever on top of that what probably was the most rudest thing of all is how I got talked to nothing resolved or something tried to be worked out at all read more

Oh I hate this place, but my daughter still loves it. Lots of loud kids running around showing their gems, I mean joy in the place... Everyone is nice and they all seem to know Chuck's dance moves. Games are relatively fun and winning 5000+ tickets in 2 hours is definitely a workout...lol. Those top ticket prizes get dusty so someone has to win them for their kid! Definitely invest in food and drinks to keep the energy up and if you can afford the multi hour play cards, those are the way to go. Toy can even get cotton candy at this particular location and ice cream from some weird vacuum machine from the other . Actually, I might go by myself to kill time...lol. I am writing this review based on visiting five arcades in the area: Chuck E. Cheese-Clearwater, Chuck E. Cheese-St. Petersburg, Treasure Island Fun Center, Xtreme Fun Center and Celebration Station. Chuck E. Cheese-Clearwater wins. I base my review on a family-friendly budget. Chuck E. Cheese-St. Petersburg needs to be updated, but is bigger than the one in Clearwater. The staff looked overworked and parking was hard to find, but it was a nice experience. I spent more money, because play time was not available only points. It is a good place, but play points would be a good addition and it is in a hard location to get to (uncontrollable). As for the other places: Chuck E. Cheese-Clearwater- 5 stars-This place is based on play time or play points. I bought $18 for my kids to play for 56 minutes, which the manager informed me that both my kids can use the same card. It was very clean, nice staff and tons of games played (about 40 games played). Also, my boys were able to get three toys at the end. I felt my money was well spent and I am very happy with the experience. The staff looked overworked, though. I spent $18 for over an hour of fun. Treasure Island Fun Center- 4 stars- Our go-to place, as it is closer to our house and they have extremely nice staff. The games are costly in this arcade. For example, my boys played Jurassic park and it cost $1.75 per player to start the game and $.75 to continue the game per player. So I spent $5.00 on this game alone in 4-5 minutes. The cheap games are the 80s games I played as a child. I love Treasure Island Fun Center, but the best games are costly. Xtreme Fun Center- 3 stars- This place is very limited. There is barely any parking and games. This is a laser tag and batting cage place. It is not really an arcade. A nice place and staff, but VERY limited. Also, they only take cash. Celebration Station- 3 stars- This place rocks, as it has everything you could ever dream of in one place- Laser tag, video games, go-carts, bumper boats, putt-putt golf, BUT is very expensive and outdated. The good games are overpriced and the facility is very outdated. I loved this place back int he day, but it needs to be updated to garner the amount of money it is asking for. Again, I love this place, but unless you are ready to drop $50 per child, it is not affordable for a family budget. I didn't know what to really expect coming to this location. I was pleasantly surprised. The facility clean, and a decent amount of games for all ages. The pizza was pretty good I was very surprised by that. I felt our play pass points went a long way so that's another plus. Hope I'm not mixing up names but Cat (young lady) was wonderful. She helped me with my order and was such a beautiful young spirit who was actually happy to do her job. Wish I could say the same about the other employee Monica (older women) whos Job was to exchange tickets for prizes. You could tell she hated her job. This review is highly rated because the management team was very accommodating to what we actually needed. I won't be specific on how but the family and I appreciate their kindness. Pros: The pizza is not bad for a children's fun spot. My husbands daughter ordered 6 pizza pies and 4 baskets of chicken wings. Most of the adults ate at the salad bar and they stated their salads tasted "good enough". We also like the security of how children are checked in and out. Cons: One ID per beer. Cheese's, we had a small table for everyone, so the girls found another table to eat at and the staff gave them shit over sitting there, telling them that it was "Reserved". I ordered an XL pepperoni pizza which I ended up having to take home. When I got home I discovered it was a cheese pizza. I paid $19.77 for a cheese pizza. I spoke to "managers" Debbie and Holly. Went to get to go pizza on Halloween night, my 22 yo was feeling nostalgic. I guess it is a franchise now owned by a couple who also work there. I was floored at the cost of our food, 2 large , 2 topping pizzas and a small boneless wings, $45.98! I paid because we were really looking forward to the pizza , as it had been a long time. Not so bad... it's chuck E Cheese so i hope you're not expecting fine dining. Took my 5 year old niece on a Monday night. It was kind of slow so hard to judge what weekends would be like. Everything was clean though and I saw staff wiping everything down. All the staff was friendly and polite. One of the employees - Nathan - was very kind and helped my niece on an off a few rides and gave her a few free rides. Went there today for lunch with my niece and great niece. This is my second time, but I couldn't remember too much. Firstly, the pizza is very good - I got the thin crust, and it was perfectly crispy. Not too greasy, and delicious. My great niece had a very good time on the games. The place was deafening, however, so conversation was almost impossible. Helpful staff for the most part. Takes a little figuring out, as it is a help yourself kind of place. Read the signs! Initially, I shrugged off the greasiness of the rides because it's understandable with all the pizza eating children around, but the customer service just killed this place! We went to get pizza, and the kid at the counter was so rude! Also my father ordered there unlimited salad bar, and did not receive a salad plate. So he walked up to the salad bar and asked an employee where he could get his salad plate from, and she literally just points toward the cash register and never even looks at him. We had our granddaughters first birthday party there on July 7. We did buy the party package, however, we supplied the decorations and cake. There were 15 adults and 9 children at the event. It was terrible and embarrassing! I would like to say the young girl who was assigned to host the party was very nice. However, she lacked training. Every time we needed assistance we had to find her. We had to ask for things like cups for the adults beverages, additional wristbands for the kids, ordering the extra pizza for the adults, etc. she never brought out the ice cream that came with the package but at that point we just wanted to leave anyway. Timing for cake through the delivery of the bill was very unprofessional. The entire place is filthy including restrooms, carpeting, games, high chairs, and booths. Can't even imagine the kitchens. I will notify the health department. The bathrooms were disgusting and were never checked by staff the entire three hours we were there. All pizzas were delivered cold. And a mouse was sighted running around the games. I don't mean Chuck E. We will never return. Very different from when I took my children there for birthdays many years ago. I went to this Chuck E. Cheese as an 80's kid, back when their was still Showbiz Pizza's around. This place is nowhere near the level it use to be. Nor are any of the Chuck E Cheese's. This location in particular though is complete garbage compared to it's glory days. The back room use to be an enclosed playhouse with a big ball pit. The ski ball right next to that with a lot larger alleys on it, and more of them. The back and hall area used to be wall to wall video games aside from that. And the front area that is now little tikes games to the left as you walk in was all wal to wall and center old school Galaga, Joust, PAC Man, Space Invader, Missile Command and all that, the room was a room also and divided by a wall. The adults and parties sat in the seating area which was also divided by a wall and had animatronic 5-6 man shows. Playing all sorts of music with better singers. Chuck E would come out during the show or after. Everything was dark throughout the building especially during shows. The people would actually entertain before and after the shows also. And the crowd of people were much higher paying MUCH better class of people and their families. It's ok to a point for kids because it's all they know nowadays. But this place is pure ass cheeks to walk into as a kid that grew up in the 80's that like many kids loved to go to Chuck E. Cheese. This place is lousy compared to that place. This is place is liberalization at it's Worst. Hugely disappointing as a kid from the eighties. 2 stars just because kids don't know any better and it's the best St. Petersburg and Pinellas can do anymore. This is a very far cry from the real Chuck E Cheese I knew. Bushnell is lucky he sold this chain off. I seriously do not get how people even give this place positive reviews.
