There is seating for 5 people but you can register 6, so I guess that means someone is always playing. Prices vary by time and day, so that can be good or bad depending on your availability. Check rates before you go. Pros: - cool inside - different game options - cool tech tracking balls near goals - people from kids to the elderly were able to get good scores depending on the game parameters - clubs for lefties - extensive food menu - alcoholic drinks available - service was good - plenty of parking - space indoors to watch sports/hangout/nice bathrooms - you pay for time and it's easy to add on small amount of time as desired Cons - you have to pay a small fee to register. Allegedly a one time fee, but it seems like an upfront cash grab knowing most people are coming for one-time events - servers come around frequently to a point you feel more compelled to order food. If you don't want more food, stand your ground but it's almost too convenient to get one more drink - The scores should be more points if you hit them from further out. Seems like a flat / any score near any flag is the same - games aren't necessarily clear if you've never played before Overall, great for groups, everyone was energetic, even if you aren't good at golf, you can get some points and try out a few clubs. Went to give this Topgolf location another try. This time was a completely different experience. It was like I was at a whole other location. The staff was friendly and attentive. Tyler was our server and he was awesome. He made sure we had everything we needed and came to check on us often everyone enjoyed their food. With the exception of my friend's chicken sliders were burned and crispy (see photo). Everything else was good. We golfed at bay 217 and it was the best bay in the house. I actually golfed into the triple digits. Glad I decided to try them again. read more

Went to Topgolf for a mommy-daughter date with my four-year-old, and we had such a wonderful time! We had a lot of fun but omg it's crazy expensive at night! After 5 $75 an hour and you can only reserve for hour and a half so you're already paying over $100 just to have the bay. We had an hour of free play so worked fine for us but just beware of peak time pricing. Service was pretty good and Queso was great but slow on giving refill chips, by the time we got them we got our dinners. At least their food prices are very reasonable around $14 a plate. Chicken tacos were just okay but heard the burgers were amazing. Next time I will def eat before or after playing as it just takes time away from the bay time you're paying for. One of the best Topgolf experiences I've had! I've been to several different locations, and usually service is not the greatest. It's usually really slow, and the server seems like they'd rather be doing anything else than helping you. That was not the case at this location. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Our food came out quickly and was so so yummy. We loaded up on the apps. The buffalo chicken potato skins were really good. As was the mac & cheese bites and pork sliders. I ordered a dirty martini and it came with pickle stuffed olives. Amazing! I will definitely be back for one of those. I had no idea that was a thing! but now I don't want my martinis any other way. My family and I love Topgolf! We love getting the kids together and we were so glad that they opened a location close to us in St. Pete. The inside bar area is quite spacious, but the real fun is outside on the decks. Even though the fans are running, I'm not going to lie, it is HOT (hello, it's FL)! They have a good menu to order some small bites and burgers, and they always have specials going on (sign up for their newsletter to get those specials). I've been at least 3 times now and service has always been good. So far, I've only experienced fun, good food, and friendly staff so we'll keep coming back to this location for sure! read more

Plenty of parking and a great location, we went on a Sunday most recently and had a great visit with wonderful service. As other reviews have said, it would be nice to have an adults only area or something with less screaming and playing children. I had a great time and absolutely would come back. I had to upgrade my review a star, because I was impressed by a couple of things. This time I came as a triple date at around 6:45 p.m. on a Friday. It was on the colder side for Florida and I found out the head lamps are adjustable by bay! There was one above our sitting area and hitting area so I started us at low for both and then high when it got colder. Ours turned off by itself around halfway through, so monitor that and turn it back on if you notice it's turned off. The other reason I gave it one more star is the food was actually pretty good. No, this isn't Michelin starred, but it's way better than I was expecting. We started with the nacho appetizer, chips with queso and guac and pretzel bites. All three were pretty good. If I had to choose I'd probably go with the chips with queso and guac then the pretzel bites then the nacho appetizer, but they were all solid. They also made a pretty good dirty martini. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to, but they had olives and everything. Plus it was only $11, which is cheaper than most dirty martinis I get. Finally the main dishes were good as well. I got the shrimp tacos and they really hit the spot. My husband got buffalo wings and said they were too hot for him (so this note is to remind him of that next time). The food (we split the appetizers three way), plus the golf came out to $113 before tip. Pro tip, right now Costco has $100 gift cards for $80, which is awesome. We played for two hours. Our server was fantastic at checking in. My water glass was never empty and I drink water quickly. He was top notch. There's a ton of parking so no problem there. My friend accidentally made reservations at the wrong Top Golf, but they were able to get us a bay, no problem. You can tell this place is new. We went around lunch time on a Thursday. It was very warm; however, you are in a shaded area with fans going. So it was very manageable. The drinks and food were solid choice, burgers with fries and tots, pretzel bites, and crispy chicken sliders. The waiter was spot on and knowledgeable about the menu and operations. My group of 6 checked in nearly 10 minutes before our reservation time, and we were continuously asked to wait. It didn't really matter until we got set up and they told us we'd lost 15 minutes of our reservation due to being late. Obviously we weren't, so we kindly pushed back on that and they offered to add time on the backend for us. The food at TopGolf is honestly way better than I would expect for a "fun activity" establishment. My group ordered some drinks and shared the hummus, nachos, and pretzel bites, and I ordered the chicken tacos for myself. I thought the hummus was a bit bland, the pretzel bites were perfectly salted and bite sized and didn't try the nachos. The tacos were great! Packed with chicken on a nice corn tortilla. We essentially missed out on 25 minutes of play time and they said they couldn't do anything about it because there was a reservation after us. We recently visited Topgolf in St. Pete for a fun afternoon while in town from Southern California and visiting family in the Tampa/St. Pete area. We had an absolute blast! My husband is in the golf industry, and while we have been to several other Topgolf locations, we found the customer service and experience here to be the best! We were greeted by the manager, JR when we checked in and he was fabulous! He made our group of 6 feel welcomed and even escorted us to our bay. Our hosts (servers) were Anderson and Kelly and talk about great service! Both were super friendly and enthusiastic as they got all of us logged in, explained the games and equipment. They were prompt with drink and food orders (the pretzel bites and cheesy macaroni bites were so good, we ordered seconds!) and made sure we were having a great time without being overbearing. I believe Anderson was finishing up his training, but we never would have known he was new! After our session was over, we did a little shopping and both Michael and Colton behind the desk were great! We also had a chance to say hello to Scott, the Operations Manager, and we left feeling like VIPs! Overall, we had a great experience at Topgolf St. Pete! Even my 86-year-old parents (who despite their age, are still avid golfers!) thought it was super fun and enjoyed our time. Thanks, everyone! My friends and I had a great time during my first visit at this location. It was a cold day in January for FL, in the 40s, but no winds and the sun was beaming. To help offset the temperature, there are heaters at the top of each bay to keep us warm- I was impressed and extremely comfortable. I had reserved ahead for an 11:45-1:45 timeslot and we were texted our bay number ahead of time. It was super efficient and allowed us to start our game when we were ready. Our server was very accommodating and friendly- we had two young toddlers with us and had such a positive, fun energy. She even gave my little one a set of kids clubs so he can take a turn and play with us. The food was also decent- we shared a salad and a bunch of appetizers since it was lunchtime. Got the caesar salad and loaded nacho quesadillas and they were really flavorful. Overall, I love this location and a great time was had- it made such a fun lunch outing! read more

The Paid games time was cut short by the system and when the issue was brought to the server and manager, their resolution was ridiculous and made us feel undervalued and unwelcome. Their communication was a disaster and kept eating our time and trying to get more money from us when in reality it was their mistake, resulting in creating a detrimental experience after we spent almost $300 in less than 2 hours at this venue. Both Brandon V. (Manager) and Ethan ruin our experience by underperforming at their roles on the resolution of the issue we experienced. I would strongly recommend for them to undergo a consumer driven re-training so the brand does not suffer as result of their performance. This was such bad treatment that this feed back will be followed by bad google reviews for several of us who attended this gathering. God bless you have nice night and she turned and looked at me and told me not to be condescending to her. That's not very good behavior number one number two and I thought I behaved in a very calm and gentlemanly manner being that I'm 62 years old .the waitress saved the day and was absolutely wonderful. We had a real nice time, and she even commented that she has cakes brought in all the time to put in the fridge so very confusing treatment that night???? I hope in the future when a party of 12 comes in for a birthday party and spends $600. I would hope everybody could have a good time. Top Golf isn't your father's driving range. This is a modern, entertainment-packed destination featuring full bar and food, high tech bays with heat lamps, and private event space. I've been to two rather large gatherings at this location. During the first visit each bay had sofas with a table in the middle. The second time they were replaced by high top tables. Good choice. It was also freezing that night but the heat lamps made our bay warm and cozy. You don't need to be Tiger Woods to play here. My personal game is: seasoned miniature golfer. At best my scores were tragic but I found that's the norm at Top Golf. I read they offer lessons! The menu consists of a lot of stadium, appetizer type dishes with a few offerings for those with allergies. The gluten-free flatbreads were my favorite. Overall 3.5 star experience for those of us who eat, drink and watch other people hit the ball. read more

I've been to this location three times now. It's a lot of fun and the food is really good. Depending on how busy things are service can be a bit slow, but nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back when the weather cools down a bit. My only criticism is that there are no prices on the menu for alcoholic beverages. I don't like having to ask how much something is and so I assumed it would be about as much as any other bar or restaurant. My 9oz glass of mid level wine was $21!! Enjoyed my first time ever at TopGolf! The building itself looks very cool and clean, and also high tech. Our waiters were kind and accommodating to our dietary needs. We originally signed up to play for one hour and ending up extending it by 30 minutes because we were having so much fun! You easily click on the screen to extend your time and it shows you the pricing options to do that. My group enjoyed the Angry Birds game, and newbies like me liked the golf clubs that helped you with your aim. The food was okay overall. We got the BBQ burger which was tasty, and we originally got tots but they were far too oily, so we swapped for fruit. The chicken tenders were also deeply fried. I'd try the nachos next time b/c those looked tasty. I would definitely return with a group of fun people for a fun day or night time activity! read more
