I'm happy to update this review, 5ish years after my initial. Take with a grain of salt that the last Chuck I visited (a couple months ago) was in Longview, and not the originally reviewed one in Tyler, but I'd like to say that the Chuckster has turned it 100% around. Chuck E Cheese is back to an establishment that focuses on the FUN a child can have there. GONE were the roulette style casino games during which you just press a button and see if you "won", replaced with truly interactive, interesting, and engaging games. We had a party package for my daughter's soccer team, and it was affordable, and awesome. Thank you, Chuck E Cheese, for getting back to your roots, and being a fantastic option for family entertainment and dining! We will FOR SURE be back! read more

Very clean, food was awesome! Staff was extremely helpful! The manager was short handed and I could only tell because he was ripping and running like crazy. Everything continued to run smoothly! We had a LARGE group and we received all of our food quickly, it was hot and absolutely delicious. The manager was accommodating with our craziness, he was nothing short of amazing! The other staff was so helpful and kind to our loud crazy group of kids, and very patient while the all yelled at him what they wanted from the "gift shop" thing, using their points.... Got a value pizza and token meal, added a salad for way too much, $7 for a salad. The tea tastes rancid, had to get a soda. Salad bar is terrible, wilted spinach, slimy onions, lite ranch dressing had ice cubes melting in it. Potato salad was awful, macaroni salad, not great, broccoli was brown. Worst salad, Ever! I let the manager know. He gave me some tokens for the awful salad I did not eat. I gave the tokens to my kids. The pizza was actually very good, so 2 stars. read more

Today the restaurant was so nasty. There were half-used lollipops on the floor, crushed pizza in the entrance, and pizza and cookies littering the floor. How to put into words one could understand. DO NOT EAT HERE ! I took my 3yr old niece here. What a waste of money. The food was so expensive. Tasted terrible. And about 30% of the games were broken. Had my sons 10th Birthday party here recently. Lots of fun for the kids. More staff would be nice. Overall cleanliness is good considering all the kids running around :) The pizza is much better and service was prompt and polite. The staff was patient, helpful and very nice. What an poor excuse for a business. The cashier was unbelievability rude, the games were literally repeating "ask for attendant" over and over, half the ticket counters didn't work, the line for the rude/slow cashier was always backed up. I will never be back. read more

Should have taken the other reviews to heart and skipped this place. Took my daughter for dinner. Got the medium pizza deal plus points to play games with. The attendants at the front register seemed less than thrilled to be there but I looked past that. We played a few games until our pizza arrived. Pizza was average- I've had better at other locations. While we were eating, they played the video stating that Chuck E. Cheese would be coming out soon. Counted down the minutes, and as far as I know, he never appeared. There was a birthday party going on at the time -the kids looked bored and the parents looked angry. We ate our pizza and went back to play more games. Several of the machines that we played were out of tickets, and at least one of them took our "points" but didn't work. I told the front register attendant, she told someone unseen who she spoke to through a headset. No one ever came to look at the game, or refill the tickets. Having been a game room attendant myself, I know it's not difficult to reload tickets. And even after I mentioned it to the front attendant, they never offered to give us credit for the shorted tickets. I probably should have asked, but I was so aggravated by that time, I just want d to leave. There was a young man who walked around on his phone the whole time we were there. Not sure what he was supposed to be doing, but he was more interested in his phone than he was doing anything else. We decided to call it quits soon after the third or fourth game shorted us tickets. Needless to say, we won't be back if ever in the area again. It was by far the worst experience at a Chuck E. Cheese that I've ever had. read more

Had a birthday party for my daughter here a couple weeks ago. I always do a party at home so I was excited to not have to do all that work this time. I booked the party online very quickly and easily. We brought balloons and cake, but let CEC take care of everything else. Our hostess was very nice and took care of us. We got the mega superstar package mostly for the unlimited game play. All the kids had a blast! The food was good. It wasn't very crowded. I would definitely recommend having a party here! read more
