I'll be honest, I didn't come for any kind of pizza. I just wanted a salad bar and for the price, Cici's was perfect. When you come in, it's positive music playing, the staff has a great attitude, and they even took my wife's request for a custom pizza of pepperoni and black olives. They had recently opened for the day when we got there. I got my salad and nothing was wilted, off, or dirty. My wife only wished there was spinach or mixed greens rather than the default, but honestly, for $10 for an AYCE salad bar, you can't beat it. The pizza was good and her special pizza came out nice and quick. The teas were fresh brewed and, yes, the drinks are expensive, but so what? $25 for two people is still an amazing price for lunch any way you look at it. We will be back and good job to everyone there. Cheap eats for the whole family. Cicis is a self serve pizza buffett. They do have salad and soup for those who are trying to eat healthy. Some of the pizza options include supreme, pepperoni and sausage, Hawaiian, etc just to name a few. They even offer dessert pizza, brownies, and cinnamon rolls for that sweet salty balance. I never been to a Cici before in my life and I thought it would be a good deal for 6 bucks. Before I ate I toured the area and the pizzas looked ok and the salad bar was ok. After eating the pizza and salad bar I will tell you I would never come back. It's just good at all. Yes it is my fault for going to a 6 dollar buffet but it still sucks. The staff here are nice but all the pizza here is cooked but taste cold. As for the salad it says it's FRESH but it's not I have seen brown lettuce. Ok the good thing is that if you have kids and not a lot of money here is the place but I would do it once in a blue moon. Wings were decent even though they failed to make them Parmesan like we'd ordered. Adding it later just isn't as good. White pasta sauce is so watery it doesn't cling to the pasta. I was utterly disgusted with my cici's experience. There wasn't anything good up there so I ordered a couple things and waiting for them to refill what was up there. I then got back to my table and there were 3 men standing right behind our table staring at the tv on the opposite side of my table. It was extremely creepy and uncomfortable, after they kept walking away and coming back I took it upon myself to shut the tv off. After over 30 Minutes of waiting for my order and them NOT refilling half the stuff up at the bar I decided to leave. We live close by and tried this Cicis a couple of months ago. The workers stood around talking, had no customers service skills, and the food was just mediocre. We didn't plan on ever going back. My husband and I decided to try it again today for lunch. The lady at the register was very pleasant and the staff was hustling to get food out and keep the place clean. The pizza was hot, with just the right combination of toppings, sauce and cheese. I asked the man putting pizza out if they had changed management and he informed me that he was the owner and the lady at the register was his wife. He has turned this place around. I walked over from Walmart for a late lunch break. They have good pizza choices, they even have labels over the different pizza dishes so there isn't much guesswork. The restrooms are OK, there are 2 stalls (1 for handicap access & the other regular), maintained OK. I can't remember the last time I have eaten at a Cicis and if it weren't for the fact that we had our 5 grandkids, I'm not sure that I would. This review is based on the customer service and cleanliness. First we went to find a table that was clean, had to ask someone to wipe one off, be careful where you sit sticky drink all over chair. I had a baby with me and needed a small spoon, they don't have any only soup spoons. I Asked for some to go silverware, the person at the counter said she wasn't allowed to give it out as she would get in trouble. Why???? I asked to speak to the manager. Meanwhile, all the employees were in the back literally balancing pizza boxes. How many employees does it take. Manager never came over. 15 min. Later I walked up to the line and asked if she was the manager and she said yes, I asked her for a to go silverware and she said it would be a dollar. I'm like, really!! Wow! I have worked in the restaurant business managing and I have run my own business and this is not the way you do things. We also waited 30 minutes on a pizza to come out. So I went in with a group of friends last night, paid the usual to get the buffet & started getting pizza. As soon as we sat down we realized how greasy it all was, but still decided to give it a try. Dough was kind of pasty & still had too much grease even AFTER patting it all down with a couple napkins. We decided to just stop eating pizza and just ate dessert 'till a lady came up to us and said "excuse me let me take these plates off your table, we have to start disinfecting about an hour early before shutoff time", which i thought was understandable until she said "because pretty much everyone in here is sick", and proceeded to clear her throat from a bunch of mucus and left. My family and I went to this location on Saturday, July 24, 2021. We ordered two Adult buffets and a child buffet. While we were getting the payment, the cashier got two 32 oz drinks and a child's drink. We paid got our receipt and headed to the table. We got the our food, drinks, and settled in. When reviewing the receipt I noticed that we were charged for the drinks that we never asked for. I thought that it came with the buffet. I was incredibly upset that we were charged for something we didn't ask for. As I was leaving I let the cashier know that I was planning on leaving a bad review because we were charged for something we didn't ask for. She said that she asked and it was my husband that said yes. I don't recall it that way and I wasn't distracted so I would have remembered. I asked my husband if this was the case and he said no, that his recollection of the situation was the same as mine. Obviously, it upset be further that we were being blamed. I have a RAVE about Cicis Pizza on 1938 E SE Loop 323 to share. This business has completely surprised and amazed me this evening. We ordered Cicis for delivery tonight through DoorDash. When our order arrived, we were missing an order of the pepperoni poppers. We called and spoke to someone in the restaurant and explained our situation. We were quickly transferred to the OWNER of the business, who explained that they were in the process of contacting DoorDash for our address and phone number so they could correct the issue and give us our order. I guess the doordasher was told that they were waiting on one more order of the pepperoni poppers. When they went to hand the dasher the rest of our order, they realized the dasher had already left. The owner then preceded to get our address and drove to our house himself with the rest of our order. He had the rest of our order and marinara sauce in hand. He apologized and told us to contact him personally if we ever need anything in the future. After he left our house, he texted my husband with his personal cell phone and told us to let him know if we ever needed anything to give him a call. I have never, ever received such remarkable customer service from a business, ever. Our food was hot and tasted amazing. Cicis will be getting all of our business whenever we have a craving for pizza until we no longer live in Tyler. Remarkable, amazing job. read more

The place officially closes at 10 but don't bother going in past 8:30. There's nothing on the buffet and half of the restaurant is closed. Then a busload of 40-50 kids come in. So everyone has to cram on one side. Ridiculous. I've asked 5 separate times for a pizza and was told by the manager each time that some would be brought to our table. Never happened, he just put them out for everyone and it was gone before I knew it was out. While we are eating at our table, a woman comes over and mops around our table. I know you won't believe this but I love Cici's pizza, but this location stinks. The tables were piled high with dishes and the floors hadn't been swept. My first mistake was entering a suspicious CiCi's. The second was walking into the women's restroom. The first thing that registered in my mind was the god awful stench. It hit me like a truck, and I had to hold my nose and breathe through my mouth to even think coherently. I was on a road trip and desperately had to pee, so I hurriedly ran into a stall anyway, having to use both hands to successfully lock it. I accidentally inhaled with my nose and oh my god, that is the first time I have ever retched by just smelling something. What especially troubled me was that it wasn't your ordinary bathroom stench. I've been to body farms in my time, as I study biology, and rotting corpses have a very distinct odor. It's slightly disgustingly sweet.. like a very intense honey, with the smell of rot being associated with garbage or roadkill. I'm not going to go out on a limb and say there was a corpse, but again, the smell is distinct. It's such a morbid and disturbing thing to say, I realize, but it legitimately smelled like a dead body. And the stench wasn't just in the restroom, it only got more intense when I walked in, along with an intense and uncomfortable heat... I can't help thinking, was there something I couldn't see? Overall, the food was mediocre.. but I could be biased, because I lost my appetite in the restroom. Definitely should have read the reviews before visiting. Very underwhelmed with my experience. Props to the employees for offering to take my pizzas to my car for me. But I was trying to use the Cici's app for reward points and nobody seemed to know it existed or cared to help me figure out how to use it. Also tried to eat there a few weeks back and the restaurant was closing at least 30 minutes early. Employees were walking out the door and all chairs were on tables. Have visited Cicis on many occasions personally as well as on trips. but recently i went on at around 7:30 pm and had a terrible experience. over half of the lobby was blocked off (over 2 hours before close) and what little was open was dirty leaving me and other customers moving trash to have a seat. This wouldn't have been as terrible if there would have been more than 4 pizzas available on the buffet. Which were basically combinations of the unwanted cold pizza left over. Working in food my expectations are not that high when eating out but this was just a terrible experience from rude staff to food quality and cleanliness very bad and unusual for this location read more

My sister, brother in law, and myself went to the Southeast Loop 323 location on Dec 12 at about 11:45 a.m. for a special treat for my sister. She has been taking care of my 82 years old brother in law during his 5 weeks of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation therapy. He has cancer in his mouth and had to have all his teeth removed for the treatments and can only eat liquid foods. He is very frail and we did not want to leave him by himself in the car. My sister ordered her buffet and told the cashier that he would not be eating since he cannot eat solid food. The cashier and a manager told her that we would have to pay for a buffet for him anyway. After a discussion, we left the restaurant without eating. I have never before meet any 2 people who are so insensitive and without compassion. read more

And we also ordered a 3 piece wings and the bottom was filled with grease. We also never received our bread sticks. I've been to many pizza places, some very well known and some not so well known. , Cici'c is THE worst I have ever had. They undoubtedly use the lowest quality ingredients in their "pizza".
