I just had my car towed from my house to Mario's Automotive and my car was picked up by Phillip. Phillip was quick, efficient, beyond friendly, and they got to my house to tow REALLY fast. Service like this is why I keep AAA Insurance. Truly after a stressful event of a car breakdown, having a tow truck driver make the process quick and easy, makes all the difference in the world. I know something went down back in 2020 with someone's groceries, but it appears that whoever was in charge then, isn't in charge now. This is a follow up to my previous negative review regarding the loss of my money/card clip, and my belief that it had been taken by the driver Greg. It was found and is now being returned intact. At this point I have no reason to believe driver Greg had anything to do with this and I retract my statements regarding this in my previous review. I apologize for believing he was involved. While his mgr Dan certainly could have been more helpful in listening to my complaint, and how rudely I was treated on the phone. I'm happy with the resolution, and will call the AAA representative to inform them of the outcome. The actual towing service driver Greg provided was excellent. We've had AAA for years. YESTERDAY 12/14 we had to wait 2 hours, for a tow. Come on CHUCK. Pay folks well - give them bonues and such through out the year and you won't have just 2 folks show up one day. COVID. no COVID is the a different FLY strain that's it. Stay home as soon as you feel like you're not well -- REST, fluids - VIT C and boost ones immune system. 3 days give or take how good I was doing before it hits me. Omar went out of his way to accommodate my needs. we were in an area with no phone service with no way of verifying my AAA membership or even that my credit card was good. He put my car on the flatbed like a professional at their normal cash rates which were going to be over $300. He then drove until we had phone service. I verified my AAA membership and we switched to the AAA rates and he took my credit card info for $180. overall, he did everything he could to accommodate all of my needs, and did so with a smile and great attitude. I have a spare and all the necessary tools..but I also have a AAA roadside assistance, so I called to have my spare put on due to 3 nails in my tire...the tow truck driver sent by AAA showed up with a flatbed and upset because he didn't want to change the tire and he also had no clue how to change a tire on a 4runner...(no idea how to use pulley to drop tire which many cars have, even mini vans....and told me it would be ok if I drive around with 3 nails in my tire due to his lack of knowledge on changing a tire. He then lied about my car missing parts to drop tire down..which is a flat out lie. In my opinion - suggesting I drive around with 3 nails in my tire (no less on a Sunday when all tire shops are closed) all while I have a brand new full size SPARE TIRE, is definitely negligence by this Company and their employee. Glad this didn't happen to one of my daughters. read more

These guys are so unreasonable and impossible to work with. My vehicle was stolen while I was out-of-state and they wouldn't let the other person on the title of my vehicle pay the fees to get it out. They were so incredibly rude and made it so difficult to get my vehicle back so they could rack up the daily fees, or just hope I wouldn't pay them so they could just keep my vehicle. 5 stars, well-earned by driver Poli M. He made a very bad situation so much easier for us. Our car has been sitting in Paradise since the Camp Fire on November 8, 2018. We lost our house and everything else on that day and, by some random miracle, this car survived, even though everything around it was burned to the ground. Our Mustang was in the shop when the fire happened and it wasn't running. It took us almost 6 months to get a new home and a place to move the car to. Now relocated to Redding, we had to tow the car 90 miles. None of the other AAA trucks wanted the job, but, Patterson's took and and showed it quickly, brought the car to our new place and delivered to the exact spot we needed it. He did it with a great attitude, was friendly, kind and understanding. Our poor car is trashed from the water damage it incurred due to rain, ice, snow and fire, but at least it's home. read more

AAA sent a Patterson truck to move my BMW from my home to Costco tire center. The first thing the driver said to me was pretty rude. He'd parked in front of my house for about 3 minutes and when I walked out to greet him, he said, "I was just about to leave!" That was tolerable; I don't expect to get a warm and fuzzy driver. The car was towed to Costco for new tires, and the driver brought the key to drop off both the car and key at Costco. Later when I went to Costco to set stuff up, they couldn't find my key, so I had to go home and it was already past 8pm. I was about to call Patterson Towing but Costco then called me to tell me that the Patterson driver had given the key to a NON-employee (another delivery driver) who had been kind enough to bring the key to their desk. By that time it was too late to return to Costco to place my tire order, so I had to return the next day on an additional trip. I have informed AAA as well. read more

I'm going to do everything I can to make sure you guys are taken off the list of AAA providers. Thursday December 3rd 20/20 at 4:43 p.m. I called AAA for a tow and to bring me some gas. I was informed by the girl that answered the phone it would be 15 to 20 minutes he was on his way. After waiting for 30 minutes or so, I called back. The girl was extremely rude and snotty, the only thing she would say is your drivers en Route your drivers en route. So another 10 minutes goes by now it's been about 40 minutes total oh, and I see a tow truck drive by turn around at the next intersection, and drive right past me. The tracking on AAA said my driver was arriving. So I called the office again to try to tell the girl who was rude as usual oh, that I think the driver just passed me by twice, once again all she could do is speak over the top of me not listening at all repeating without taking a breath or stopping to hear what I had to say, your driver is en route your driver is en route your driver is in route. Bye now I've been out here over an hour it's freezing cold my battery on my phone is dying, I'm really pissed. So I call back oh, I beg her please don't hang up on me please listen, once again all she can say is your drivers en route. I cannot tell you how pissed off I was. Finally after over an hour has gone by some raggedy old dude shows up with a gas can oh, but cannot tow my car, it seems he wasn't told I would need a tow truck. So he tells me he's going to go back to the office and send someone with a tow truck he does not know how long it will be. So I wait and I wait and I wait. Nothing now we're going on 1 and 1/2 hours since I called for a tow truck. I called back Chuck Patterson they won't answer their phone. So I called AAA they take another 40 minutes to call me back to tell me that they won't be giving me a tow because Chuck Patterson will not tow my car and I have no one else in the area to do it. So now it's been two and a half hours it's cold it's dark my phone is almost dead and they're telling me I need to call a private tow oh, I have no way to call a private tow. So between Chuck Patterson and AAA I was stuck on the side of Cohasset Road for 3 + 1/2 hours eventually having to call my husband to come get me who by the way it was at work. Chuck Patterson Towing doesn't give a crap about anyone and their girl on the phone has got to be the most incompetent rude person I've ever ever seen. Never ever use them for a tow strap your car to your back and walk at home before you call these assholes. I'll be making a personal trip to their office let them know exactly how I feel. This morning my car broke down on the side of the highway. I called AAA and they dispatched Chuck Patterson. Big rigs flying past, dark, cold and the driver Edwin, refused to tow my car unless I gave him cash. My registration was up Sep. It is October 12th and I am waiting for the sticker to come in the mail from DMV. He spent less than 5 min outside before he took off leaving me behind. I'm a grown adult but what if this was my daughter. This is the absolute worst service I have ever received. And to top it off when I called to talk to the supervisor he defended his employee. My friend and I needed to get her car towed. I will say the only good thing about my experiment was that the tow truck was at my location within 5 minutes, everything after that was the worst experiment I have ever had. When Ryan (the driver) got out he told me I requested a tire repair when I knew for a fact I requested a tow. He then proceeded to tell me he cannot tow the vehicle because the tags are expired even though my friend had a California LEGAL registration in her window that the dealership my friend bought it from a month ago put in there, so LEGALLY her tags and registration were current. He argued with me over and over again that even with the current registration he could not tow the car due to no tags on the plate, I work at the dealership my friend bought the car from so I know the legal rules when it comes to registration and the tags. Ryan was extremely rude and snotty towards me. I finally got fed up with his attitude I told him he can go ahead and leave and I will take my money somewhere else. The woman who worked the front desk (Sydney) was very rude and didn't care to listen to anything I said. Working at a tow company or in any work place, you should be a little more understanding of your customers and their situation even if you disagree.
