The complete package for a great meal. Restaurant is very clean and well managed. The manager is "Hands On" setting the example for the servers. Food was served hot and fast. Let's just say the service was amazing friendly, knowledgeable staff, very inviting to the menu as this was our first time trying it and will now be my favorite seafood spot. I had no idea how amazing my food would be but it WAS!! Everything was fresh seasoned very well corn & potatoes cooked to perfection not over or under cooked. It was a nice spot to have lunch. Poppin, busy. Clay was our server and he was great. Consistent and friendly. Good sense of humor too. Food was delicious. Second time eating crawfish and it was tasty. A bit more spicy for my liking, but I am so glad that I stuck with it. My cousin and I finished 3 pounds together and also enjoyed crab legs. read more

My wife purchased a 5 lbs, 4lbs, and 3 lbs all the crawfish were good and very spicy. There were no onions in the bag that's not good. I also had the 5 lb bag and about 1 lb of them were over cooked or dead either way they were not able to by ate. My wife and daughter also said that they had a lot of dead crawfish in there bag. I would have taken a picture but I had already eaten and it wouldn't be fair to show a bunch of shells that I had already ate along with the ones that wasn't able to be eaten. The restaurant is located on Bert Kouns & situated between car dealerships, and an oil change business & thuw, it is easy to never notice it., Do stop by, not just for crawfish, but for the gumbo, red beans 'n rice, salads and poboys. The bread for the poboys is shipped in from NOLA & it's very good. Friends & I have ordered the Beef Debris & Shrimp poboys. They are scrumptious & closest thing to NOLA poboys in this region. Very deserving of the 5 star rating. The menu lists many options which cover all the favorite foods of Louisiana: po-boys of fried or broiled shrimp, N'Awlins beef po-boys "debris", catfish, & more. A member of our party ordered a hamburger with fries and gave the order a rave review. The server was excellent, ready to assist & refill drinks, etc. Additionally, the venue is popular for watching LSU games while enjoying real Louisiana food. My first attempt at getting Chuck Wagon was a few weeks ago, I walked in and made eye contact with 2 employees (a young lady with dark brown hair and a young man) NEITHER asked how they could help or even acknowledge me so after a few minutes I walked out. Determined to try their catfish and against my better judgement went back yesterday. The food was fresh however this catfish was okay at best and the tartar sauce needs a revamp, it's very generic tasting almost like krafts. read more

Was excited to try their crawfish - they were tasty but most were small. Also had the oyster poboy which fell apart - the bread was very wet from the lettuce pickles and tomato juices. Breading fell off the oysters and was very salty. Probably would not go back. read more

I was looking up best boiled crawfish in Shreveport, because I've been repeatedly disappointed other places. I was so happy to find positive reviews on this place on Yelp. The place is good truck style in a parking lot. The crawfish were seasoned so well. No need to put all that seasoning on top because they season the water thankfully! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because there isn't a place to sit and eat them there. I tried this Duck pond park nearby, but it was super shabby and not well-kept. So, don't do that. Next trip to Shreveport, I'll be back to get more crawfish and I'll bring my own table and chairs! Lol read more

Can't type eating crawfish!!! These are the best crawfish in Shreveport and I've tried over 20 places! The flavor is intense and deep and the crawfish are juicy enough to suck the head and the tail! The owner is super nice and they also have shrimp potatoes sausage and corn. Plus is there's no minimum number of pounds you must buy. The other guys do that but Chuck wagon doesn't have to! This place is the real deal! The crawfish were a pretty good size and the flavor was right on point. The service was a little slow, but there were only two people operating the stand when I arrived. It is outside so it was a little hot, but there is a tent with a picnic table to sit while waiting. There is also a small snow cone stand in the same parking lot in walking distance if you fancy a snow cone to cool off. They have various combos to accommodate a small group or a larger group of people. The guy boiling the crawfish told me that he uses his own special blend to boil the crawfish which is great and it tastes delicious. I have lived here for six years and today was the first day I have eaten here, and when I tell you that eating this crawfish is a religious experience you better believe it. They are spiced just right, it gives you that kick that your looking for, but it's not so much that you can't continue eating. My husband and I got five pounds to share and after eating just one I considering driving back across town to get more. They were so good, I checked the bag five times to make sure that I didn't miss one morsel. From now on, I will only go here to get my crawfish fix. This is the best spot in town. Worst crawfish I have ever had. They taste like they were boiled with lemons and then after being cooked had seasoning dumped on them. I LOVE spicy food, but these are not "spicy" they are unpleasantly over-seasoned. I literally had six crawfish and had to stop. My lips HURT, and my upper lip is sweating. The heat is topical, and does not permeate to the actual crawfish tail. Not juicy at all; you're sucking air if you go after the head. Claw meat minimal despite good sized crawfish; however, they also seemed to have been beat to hell and back. This is likely a result of when (I observed while waiting) they are dry seasoning after the boil and stirring...in a cooler. Side note, it wouldn't hurt to see one or any of the employees smile. read more
