    Meatball sub
    Angela F.

Went to The Container Bar just to catch this food truck that I've been hearing great things about. I had the meatball sub and just wow! The meatballs are perfection. The roll is toasted and holds up well. It has just enough sauce on it and a smear of pesto that just sets it off. So glad I had the chance to try this yummy sandwich. Can't wait to have it again soon!

Ok one word- YUM. The meatballs are mindbendingly good. Also fwiw they are all beef which was important to one member of our party who doesn't eat pork. I am not sure how they get spaghetti perfectly cooked in a food truck but they do. They were also super nice and carried our food to us when it was done. If you see this food truck for sure try then!

Best pasta dish I had in a long time. Reminded me of Italy. We had them at Low Tide today. Unreal

Awful, oily, greasy sauce and pasta. Horrible quality meat for the meatballs. This place gave me food poisoning. Not worth the price either.

Sausage is ok, and likes the chicken when he is in the mood for it. He hasnt had anything there that he doesnt like. I loved the turkey, baked beans and Mac n cheese. Our Hurricane drink was pretty delicious( with part of the proceeds goes to a charity for that one particular drink). The server was polite and friendly. They smoke and bbq all the meats right out back of the restaurant so the food came out quick, fresh and amazing! I personally loved the Mustard and Sweet Red sauces while my husband prefers the slight heat of the Jalapeño sauce . The recipes for the sauces are hanging up on the walls as part of the decor. The only thing i could knock them for is the bathroms were a little dingy. Not really super dirty, just needs some updating with new tiles and paint. Overall great place and we will definitely will be returning!

However, I feel like we've had better barbecue up north than we did here... We ordered a brisket plate + a pork belly plate to share with mac & cheese, grits and corn pudding. The brisket was dry and flavorless. The pork belly was more fat than meat. Thank goodness for the variety of delicious sauces they provided with our meals! I'm giving two stars for the sides & sauces being pretty good but that's about it. I don't know the area but I'm sure you can find better meats elsewhere :(

My son got the lamb gyro wrap and fries which he really liked. My daughter got the chicken shawarma wrap and hummus which she said was outstanding. I got the chicken shawarma and gyro mix plate with falafel and I really liked it. I noted that the chicken had a bright, citrus flavor which it is supposed to have but I don't get in most of the shawarma's I try. Rice was fine. Food portions were quite generous, we were all full and took home leftovers. Price was decent too. They offer some sort of call ahead or online ordering which would be a good thing to look into so you aren't waiting around a parking lot for a bit. J.Ja

While…read moreit's technically a food truck, it's set up in a permanent location with convenient parking, so it's easy to swing in and grab a meal. You can order through all the major delivery services, use their website, or walk up and order in person like I did. I ordered the kabob plate with both a chicken kabob and a beef kabob. It came with a generous portion of wonderfully seasoned, fluffy rice -- and plenty of it. On the side was a fresh chopped salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a cool tzatziki sauce that added a bright, refreshing balance to the plate. The vegetables were super fresh and crisp, and every bite had great flavor. The beef kabob was fantastic -- well-seasoned ground beef formed on the skewer with bold, savory flavor. But the chicken was the star of the show for me. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. Not spicy at all -- just rich, balanced flavor done right. They offer a wide selection beyond kabobs: lamb, chicken, beef shawarma, hummus, grape leaves, and several authentic Middle Eastern sides that can be hard to find done properly. If you're on this side of town, place an order and swing by to pick it up. It's fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the stop.

Frank and I are grateful to have had Chef Chris cater our wedding reception in September of 2018…read more Since we live in Virginia and were unable to fly down to Charleston for tastings, we reached out to Chef Chris based on his online reviews. Thank goodness for the reviews! They were on point. Chef Chris was extremely professional and his food was amazing. Not only did Chef Chris provide the catering, but he also was the point person for my table, chairs, and linen rental and the bar service. Having Chef Chris as the point person was a life saver, giving me a single point of contact for multiple moving parts! Our wedding reception was held at out of town and very casual yacht club. It was a bit of a schlep from Charleston (about a 40 minute drive) and didn't have a freezer. Chef Chris brought *everything* he needed, including an ingenious way to keep ice cream without a freezer on site (not sure how he did it, but I assume I would have been impressed). His staff was terrific and multiple guests said the bar service staff was also wonderful. The food was perfect! We had the low-country boil and it was AMAZING! The shrimp were HUGE and the corn was crisp, potatoes were perfect, and the sausage was bursting. We also had pulled pork on soft buns, as well as salad and green beans. No wedding cake - we went with apple cobbler. All my guests commented on the food, during and after the wedding reception. Serving large groups is always a challenge, but Chef Chris made it seamless and so flavorful! Frank and I strongly recommend booking Chef Chris! He is wonderful to work with and delivers amazing food and service. Good luck!

I was actually pretty excited about this place because I was craving Thai food. I saw the pictures and it looked legit. I ordered the Panang curry thinking it was a safe choice... This is for to-go and I was so excited to get to my hotel and eat it (8 min drive). When I got back- I was alittle disappointed that it wasn't in a more bowl-like or cup container. It also looked a bit different than other pics of Panang curry I saw on yelp- it wasn't as soupy or saucy as I had hoped. - minor annoyance was that they also didn't have brown rice. But Understandable since br rice isn't really Thai. - Another minor thing was I requested a 7/10 on spice level... I know spice is really subjective but this thing tasted more like a 1 or 2. I saw on the reciept the cashier got the order right... It also seemed wierd that I was asked if I wanted utensils... I would think for any to-go it'd be standard. I don't know if I would come back here... I saw another Thai/Lao or Filipino place down the street that I probably should have went to. That one was questionable because it looked like they had too much on their menu...

Formerly just a food truck, this is located in a BP gas station, so takeaway only- no sit down dining room. Do not snub your nose at food from gas stations or Gullah food reviews by Yankees. The line was LONG and parking lot full. Prices are fair, portions are generous, taste is FULL of flavor. My son tried the buttermilk shrimp with sauce on the side, shmack and cheese, and dirty red rice. I tried the fried salmon with sauce on the side and dirty red rice. We ordered the sauce on the side because we are not usually fans of creamy sauces but once we tasted it, we dumped it on because it was really sweet like, honey, not mayo-ey. And it complemented both the shrimp and the fish. The mac n cheese was creamy, but the red rice stole the show. I am a wimp when it comes to heat (spice) and while it had flavor it was just perfect for me. Even though I couldn't finish my food, I'm still wishing I had tried the Gullah garlic wings, but I suppose that just means I'll be back!
