Delicious food! Definitely one of the better pizzas I've had since moving to SC from MA... My husband and I came here for happy hour. We ordered garlic knots and the sweet & spicy pizza. The knots were better than expected; soft and loaded with fresh garlic. The pizza dough/crust had great flavor and was cooked just right so it had a very slight crunch. I also liked the tomato sauce and large authentic pepperoni. However, it could have used more cheese and I wish the basil was chopped up but I just did it myself. Overall, it was a great meal and we ordered the cinnamon knots to-go for dessert. They were just as great as the garlic knots! We will be back again :) read more

Pretty good! I love the burger and best chicken parm in my whole life. No exaggeration. I typically treat LPC as a pure takeout spot but tbh it is a nice, dark date spot. The menu reads "all pasta made by hand in house". A quick 30 second conversation with a waiter revealed that was not true. I asked specifically about the ravioli. His answer: no, not that one. I asked specifically about the gluten free pasta (my date had some dietary restrictions) and the waiter replied: no, not that one either. Then the waiter couldn't tell us what was in it. Went to LPC Kitchen for dinner the other day and I have to say it is delicious! you must give it a try! It's a very cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice. We were there in time for happy hour! I had to try The Liv which was a delicious drink it could've been a bit sweeter for me but I still liked it 8.5/10 and followed it up with a Mule they had for the season. It was my favorite drink 10/10! They have a specials menu the size of a business card on each table, so be diligent to look otherwise you'll miss them. They've already decorated for Christmas with a tree near the front. I had the margarita pizza which was good. It has more crust than I think it needed but I asked for their homemade Cesar dressing to drip it in and that was tasty. My friend got a pasta that she said was good. For a slow Monday evening the service was fine, the hostess greeted us right away and seated us immediately. This is in an amazing location, the vibe gives upscale and chic. The service was above and beyond. Everyone was welcoming and provided top notch service. The pizzas looked like the star of the show at every table. The Brussels spout salad was okay. The mussels were okay I personally prefer white wine sauce but the red sauce they use was good. Unfortunately the chicken parm must have been fried and cheese added on top it was difficult to cut through and the cheese was not melted. We got a replacement of the short rib pasta which was mediocre. I would go back to try the pizza since that seems to be what they are known for. Also have the cheesecake for dessert. It was very fresh and soft. The bartenders definitely made the extra star they were terrific. Personable, attentive and helpful. And they made amazing drinks. The right way. Had a great first LPC happy hour experience. We went out for an early (belated) Valentine's dinner and arrived at the beginning of happy hour. We tried the meatballs, house salad, sweet and spicy pizza, skinny marg, and red wine. All, great, decisions. We love LPC's open kitchen and bar (complete with cereal silos), clean/modern/tasteful floor plan, and how the staff works together. Server had two missteps and immediately corrected them. The pizza ovens are rockin' at 700 degrees so we knew we were in for some chewy, crunchy, and slightly charred crust. LPC's "gravy" is a thinner, New York, sweeter style, which we loved. We went to LPC Kitchen for the first time on my boyfriend's birthday. We made reservations but they probably weren't needed. It was the Tuesday after a 3 day weekend, so it wasn't busy. The atmosphere was nice. It looked like a fancy place. The prices were nice too. It cost $63 for the two of us to eat an appetizer, a pizza, and a pasta. That's not bad. My pasta was delicious. I got the Pasta Al Limone. It was one of the specials. The lemon and the cheese mixed together surprisingly well! Eli got a pizza from off the specials menu. It was amazing. It was a sweet pizza. It had cherries on it. Not cherry tomatoes but actual cherries cooked on the pizza. It is kind of like adding pineapples to pizza. It's actually really good. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. It looks like the area it's in is still getting built up. There's still construction going on and new businesses opening up. It's in the Nexton area. That's a really nice part of town. Everything is relatively new there. I think this place makes for a great date night location. I've seen a lot of Yelp friends go here and love the food so I was excited to try it. I love the look of the restaurant as it has an open kitchen and trails of plants. I will say that because it is an open kitchen, it is very warm inside so plan ahead with what you wear. For drinks my friend and I ordered the Hibiscus Bliss, Tequila Sour and Espresso Old Fashioned and they were all delicious! My favorite was the Hibiscus with the light fruit flavor and the foam from the egg white. The brussel salad was not what I was expecting but it was very tasty. My friends ordered the chicken Parmesan and CALABRIA pasta and they were all very tasty. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and loved how creamy and savory it was. Very pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a resto, tucked away in what feels like a cross between an outlet mall, a college campus and modern office cluster. We arrived unannounced (no reservation) on a busy Friday night and the hostesses made room for our group of 4. Cozy, modern, fun and open concept resto with a variety of bench, chair, barstool and window seating. Only downside was it gets VERY loud, so conversation was equally loud. OMG the food was excellent! We started with garlic bread and truffle fries, which we all shared. The garlic bread was swimming in generous amounts of garlic on sweet homemade bread with the perfect crust! I had the poet gooey cheesy incredible calzone (way too big for me but bonus to have half come home with us). Hubby had the smash burger and loved it. Our friends devoured their ravioli and chicken parm. Everything was hot, and flavourful. No skimping on the cheese that's for sure! For dessert, shared cinnamon dough knots and key lime pie. Perfection. The beverage menu had some fun alcohol and non choices, all very cold. Kudos to our server who was friendly, efficient and attentive. Only downside was the decibel level making it difficult to hear one another, and parking could be tricky since it's shared with other surrounding businesses. Wheelchair accessibility is great. Visited for the first time on a slow Saturday afternoon. I'm surprised they weren't busier than they were. Upon entrance, LPC appeared bright and open with a minimalistic boho aesthetic. Mostly wooden chair seating, but comfortable wooden chairs, with a few half booths. A partially open kitchen with view of the pizza ovens and a bar tucked in the corner made for a nice view. On this particular day I ordered a a peach lemonade cocktail to support some cause (already forgot) and it was fine for a canned cocktail. Our table ordered the ravioli of the day which was filled with corn and leek. I had no interest in trying it, but my semi-picky father indicated it was very tasty as he finished nearly the entire plate. I ordered the Bianca pizza and Brussels salad. The pizza was visually appealing and exactly what it said it was. I found the flavors lacking, with little flavor to anything despite multiple cheeses, oregano, basil, and the addition of pepperoni. While I personally prefer my pizza on the crispier side, it was still a nice balance of textures. I really enjoyed the Brussels salad as I prefer sweet and crunchy salads. The tang of the Dijon added a nice contrast to the dish. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star review is simply based on preference of pizza. Tbh, since I've moved to SC, I haven't had a slice of pizza I actually care for so maybe I just don't care for pizza anymore. It's not you, it's me. read more

Absolutely loved this newer spot in Nexton. I made a reservation and it was very easy to do so. They have tables and booths to sit in, as well as the bar area. It's all very dim lighting and set to be romantic. My only complaint was the music choice though. They were playing hip hop, electric techno, and I heard at least 3 Kanye West songs. Very odd choice of music for the setting, and very loud as well. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Our food took a while to come out but they were busy. I got the Boardwalk Fries and that were thick cut French fries, and the seafood pasta. Everything was amazing! It all tastes wonderful and I'll come back for the pizza. read more

The layout of the restaurant is simple yet modern in its own way. We got a seat right in front of the action of all the cooking. We started with the fried mozzarella and me and my husband devoured it. It was fresh and fried to perfection. We also got the mussels and it was delish the broth was rich and the bread complemented it. For our entree, we shared the chicken alfredo and the server recommended we add bacon and that was the best decision EVER. They also have pizza and great dessert options. This is kind of a lie as I had no service. Website states they close at 9:00 pm. Nowhere does it state that they seat their last table at 8:15. We walked in at 8:20 and were told it was past 8:15. The hostess checked with the cooks and came back and said, "We seat our last table at 8:15. We might be able to do a to go order but the kitchen closes in 5 minutes." What is it with restaurants in South Carolina?? Do they not like making money??!!?? Do they not realize people eat after 9:00 pm or do they think we are all Gremlins if we eat after a certain time. This was our second try. We reserved our review the first time around so that we could give them a second try in hopes of changing our minds. Nope, didn't happen. The atmosphere is very LOUD! Don't try having a conversation. It is extremely loud in the restaurant. We were trying to have a belated romantic Valentines Dinner but we couldn't even talk to each other Tye music was so loud. Our server didn't know the menu at all. She told us the specials but when asked for more details of the specials she didn't know and made things up that didn't remotely make sense. So we opted for stuff on the menu that had more details. When asked about the pasta for the chicken parm, she told us it was fettuccine. But fettuccine is not what came out. Which further confirmed the waitress had no clue about the menu. The chicken parm was extremely dry and overcooked. It was more like a hockey puck than anything and very hard to cut. I ordered the bolognese. If I had been blindfolded and was told to share what I thought I was eating, I wouldn't have been able to tell you what it was with the exception of the pasta shape. There was no flavor at all to the sauce. The only two highlights to our dinner was the meatball appetizer which was to die for and the wine that we ordered. When trying to get anyone's attention for help other than our server, the other people couldn't be bothered and one was downright rude. For such a small restaurant, one would think there would be more teamwork. Sad that staff won't even support each other. read more

The service was fast and the staff were very polite and considerate! The ambiance was a naturally lit, large windowed room with an open kitchen. They advertise that they like it loud and the music definitely was a little louder than you would expect, making conversations a little more difficult, and I did notice a good portion of the music we listened to was more of a modern upbeat style as opposed to the soft Italian you would expect.
