They added a pressure relief tank and turn the heat down on the tank. They even cleaned up the mess they didn't make! These guys were so fast and professional. I can't say enough about their level of service, and speed to take care of our issue. The price was fair I blieve given the situation. It was around $850 to fix an issue that probably would have cost us thousands had they not fixed it.

About 15 minutes before the appointment a woman from Vredevoogd calls to cancel my appointment because, "my home is to apartment like and they do not service what I have. They kept asking if I have neighbors above or below, no I do not. The building is three stories and I own a three story townhouse/condo with one neighbor south of me. My condo is an end unit. I have an electric central AC and heating system in a utility room on the second floor. My AC compressor is located on the roof of my home with easy access to tenants and service technicians. Vredvoogd just kept saying it is, "to apartment like and beyond their expertise. Appropriately 50% of homes/townhouses and condos have self contained electric central AC and heating system. So if you own an electric central AC and heating system Vredevoogd isn't your company, it is beyond their expertise. If your compressor isn't located on the ground, Vredevoogd isn't for you because it is to apartment like and beyond their expertise. Please keep in mind they knew my address and what type of home I lived in for days but had to cancel 15 minutes before my appointment. I even provided photos of my setup, but you guessed it, it is to apartment like.

A month later I got a "quote bill" for $75. I would have gladly and expected to pay for a quote but not a back handed quote. A quote that I was never given when I scheduled the appt, a quote price never given by tech who came. A bill just showed up a month later. I AM NOT PAYING IT. Bad business practices. Not my fault your scheduler and tech never quoted me. Teach your employees better.

We had a mini-split in our previous house, and were very impressed with it's efficiency. The electric bills were not excessive, and it kept our house really warm. After getting several bids, we selected Lamphear Service Company (from the Grand Rapids area) to install it. Their price was amazing! We had to wait a few months until they had it in stock again (the unit is now made by Mitsubishi/ Trane) since it was so popular. Lamphere consistently exceeded our expectations. EVERY employee from there was incredibly nice, and a pleasure to deal with. The company was honest, thorough, and experienced at installing these mini-splits. Now that our unit is up and running, we are SO happy with it, and glad that we used Lamphere to buy it from. Knowing that they were a Better Business Bureau member gave us additional peace of mind.
