The sweet potato rice dog was amazing! Super filling and delicious, 5 stars for the food. It did take quite a while to make and the inside seating is limited but it was empty!

It was my first time trying Chung chun, and it was soooo delish! I got the whole mozzarella dog combo with fries and sweet mayo. It was perfection!! Great cheese pull. Lots of sauces to choose from. Staff was super friendly!

My first Korean corn dog and it was soooo good! Nice and crispy and super tasty! The cheese was better than the hotdog but still great! Restaurant was clean and nice and warm. The sweet lady behind the counter answered all our questions!

More of a meal than a snack We passed by this place and saw a promotion going on, so we bought 2 hotdogs. It is definitely a meal than a snack, it is like a giant version of corn dogs, with pick-you-own sauces. It is super messy to eat, i got my mouth and hands dirty for trying to eat it. I would recommend to try it if you are in the area and want to try korean style hot dog.

Great location as it is steps away from a subway station. I came here to grab a quick bite while I waited to meet some friends after. I ordered the 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage corndog. When they asked me what kind of sauces I wanted on it, I asked if I could do all of them haha. The employee said that would be too much and suggested she divide the corndog into 3 sections and put 2-3 sauces per section so I can try out different combos. Smart idea indeed! It was hot and delicious. I approve!

Menu. Watch the sauces. It makes it messy.

This is a must try place corn dog only place. They have either a hot dog made of a mix of Chechen and beef, or cheese dipped in corn meal batter as the base "dog". You can add cheese to be next to the corn dog than the entire item is dipped in cornmeal batter and fried with various coatings stick to the outside of the Corn dog. If you are hungry, order the corn dog dipped in chicken tenders. Mini chicken tenders will be fried on the outside of the corn dog. $7.35 I liked the corn dog with potatoes, Gamsung dog, $5.25. The potatoes tasted like French fries fries The store is small, basically an order and take your hot dog on the street to eat it place, but there is a small area to eat inside.

Been craving to try a LEGIT Korean corn dog since seeing it blow up on Mukbangs. I mean...have you SEEN those cheese pulls ?? Anyways, I finally tried it here since I've heard all my friends rave about it. Even though these corn dog are deep fried and battered, I didn't feel it was overly greasy. It was instead golden crunchy on the outside with an inside batter that was an airy chewy bread. I finally got that SATISFYING CHEESE PULL from the Full Mozzarella stick. Although the flavour was extremely mild since we only put on cinamon sugar...which fell off (highly recommend another sauce instead). On our Gamjung potato hot dog, we drizzled sweet mayo + sweet chili + honey powder !!! This was my fav. I also tried their Tteok Rice Cake hot dog and it was surprisingly good with the chewy rice cake & sauces PRO TIP: 10% off at Kung fu tea if you bring your receipt or corn dogs dogs

Super filling and affordable dinner options! Think of this as a fancy pogo stick with unlimited sauces and sprinkled toppings! The hotdogs are tasty. Be aware there may be a line up to go in and a line up while they prepare your order but it's worth it! I liked it!! We got the chicken dog and the ramen dog. I though the chicken one was a bit too fried. It came with little pieces of cubes chicken and deep fried. The ramen dog was superrr tasty. It tasted like crispy dried ramen surrounding the rice flour batter and hot dog! I'll try the one w cheese next time XD

Potato (2), Cheese Mozzerella, Ramen Chip, Squid Ink

Came here around noon on a Saturday and there was quite a line. I waited for around 20 minutes in total. Tip - go to the order line first, with groups of people waiting, it can get confusing. I ended up getting 5 rice hotdogs in total. - Squid Ink with Cheese - so unique and the little squid tail is adorable 5/5 - Ramen Chips - love the crunch on this 4/5 - Mozzarella Cheese hotdog - ooo the cheese pull on this one - Potato (x2) - the potato made the outer coating really thick so it hide some of that hotdog taste, but overall still good 4/5 They also had a lot of sauce and powder options (can be overwhelming at first). PUT HONEY BUTTER ON EVERYTHING!! It was so good. Definitely will come back to try the rest of the flavours out.

My first time trying Chung Chun! I ordered one Mozzarella Cheese & one Mozzarella Cheese with Potato on the outside. The setup at this location was great, They allowed a limited number of customers in the store at a time and had 2 separate lines, one for ordering and another for pickup. What was really great was that once you place you order, they ask you to wait outside until your number is called. They had digital ticket display in the front window to let customers know who they were serving next. They were so fast and efficient, that I only really waited about 5min, once I got in there, I decided to drizzle one with spicy mayo, and the other with sugar. They also offered some of their sauces on the side. I decided to get the Sweet Chilli on the side and it was so great. Overall, a really great first experience, I'll definitely be back!

Best Korean corn dog! They have good variety and different toppings to choose from. The texture is ice and crunchy on the outside with the most satisfying cheese pull. I got the mozzarella corn dog with ketchup and sugar which was so good. We also tried one with the potato topping which was also good.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these rice hotdogs. I have tried every single flavour and my favourites are the potato and squid ink. The service is great, there's usually a line up at the Yonge street location which is expected because it's so darn delicious.

You walk up a goldcolored hallway and 2 flights of stairs before reaching the restaurant. The host stand is farther inside.....which will make sense once you are physically in the space. The workers were very friendly and funny. I had a great time bantering with them. My friend from 8th grade and I reunited for the first time in 21 years over dinner. This was one of her picks, and I am deeply grateful she chose it. Appetizers: Rock Shrimp, Fatty Tuna Nigiri, Crispy Rice Tuna Entrée: Jidori Chicken Drinks: Sangria, Champagne Dessert: Yuzu Citrus The rock shrimp was delicious. We loved the sauce it was tossed in. My friend is not usually a shrimp fan but she polished it off for me. The fatty tuna nigiri was great, as expected, and the crispy rice tuna was phenomenal. The Jidori chicken was delightful. We loved the sauce, and the mashed potatoes were pillowy. I did not have the sangria but my friend said it was the best she had ever had. The yuzu citrus dessert came with strawberry gelato and cookie crumbs. The gelato was not overly sweet and the yuzu was perfectly tart. They also put a little "Reunited" note on the dessert plate, which we both thought was such a sweet touch. Definitely pricey, but definitely worth it. Recommended it to my Toronto friends, I really want to go back and get that king crab rice.

It's a gorgeous setting and has a complete vibe of luxury. I thought the tacos were yummy, but the meat didn't feel special like you expect when you hear waygu. It also wasn't as earthy as I've experienced with waygu, but I didn't really mind that. I also got the Brother From Another Mother roll and really enjoyed that. All The dishes are very aesthetic and enjoyable. I was surprised at the end with a little birthday treat. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and I'd definitely go back.

The staff helped us through the menu and gave us recommendations, and was so kind and fun to chat with! I had gotten the chicken katsu and my friend the beef tartar bibimbap. Both came with amazing portions and we had food to spare. The katsu was perfectly crispy, and the house made sauce was perfectly seasoned and amazing! It also came with apples and salad on the side which was a perfect pallet cleanser. The bibimbap had a great variety of toppings and everything was seasoned well. When thoroughly mixed, everything bite had a bit of everything and it was delicious. On top of the food u get when you order, the meal also comes with 6 different sides. Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
