Great Korean hotdog spot! These dogs really quench that craving you have and low key could totally be a meal if you aren't terribly hungry. The dogs are all made fresh so you get them nice and hot (but cooled down so you don't burn yourself). They have multiple options available for you to mix and match the inside dog and the outsides. They recently also got 2 dessert dogs: crispy churro and Oreo (not officially branded because copyright lol). They both are actually really good and pair surprisingly well with the hotdog haha I don't know for how long, but all their dogs are 30% off right now too! I do question the choice for Arirang and Chungchun to be next to each other though. I don't remember who was here first, but whoever followed must have had the balls to compete. I think the two franchises are actually very comparable though: prices are very similar and offerings are very similar too (in terms of both selection and dog size). I would say the main difference is that Arirang has dessert and poutine dogs + bonus croquettes, while Chungchun has a ramen dog (at the time of this review, Arirang seems to change it up a lot). Just go for whichever has the shorter line, unless you're looking for one of those different items.

I've seen these at festivals but never really felt it was worth spending $5 for a hotdog on a stick (you could buy a welkin with that which is 1/3 of the way to pity!) But one night I passed by and got a notification from uberEats that they were offering BOGO and figured, sure why not let's grab a snack even if they are probably paying up to 15-30% in commission to uber for the pickup order (as of writing, they are still offering BOGO) The options that were available were * potato hot dog * arirang hot dog * famous twisted bread hot dog * mozzarella cheese hot dog * mozzarella cheese and half sausage hot dog I've had a cheese hot dog before from another place and...it was just cheese so I skipped on that. I ended up getting the potato hot dog, and it was quite nice. Crispy pieces of potato cubes with a full-length sausage that you simply could not fit in your mouth in one go. They also offer a variety of sauces that you can cover your stick with. Overall it is enjoyable and the staff are quite friendly.

I've been here a few times to try the corn dogs! I've noticed that corn dogs are pretty popular nowadays and there's a plethora of Korean corn dogs shop around the Yonge and finch are! One thing that makes arirang stand out is the fact that they come up with new unique flavours! I've tried the Oreo, churro covered corn dogs as well as the regular ones and the potato ones. I've also tried the bbq dorito and sweet chilli heat dorito and flaming hot cheetos covered corn dog. Personally the Oreo and churro corn dogs throw me off. It's a mix of sweet and savoury and just wasn't doing it for me. I would much rather eat the normal ones. The sweet chilli heat and flaming hot corn dogs were very interesting! I would eat this fresh on the spot! I think I waited too long and the cheese hardened quickly! One complaint is that the corn dogs weren't fully coated in the chips. It was just the top part. The honey butter cheese balls were also good! It's a sweet savoury taste. I did come to arirang twice and wanted to try the spicy chicken one, but sadly it's always been out of stock whenever I come. I would want to come back and try it. Overall, I think this spot is creative! Plenty of options you can pick! I heard that there will be a chicken nugget coated corn dog! I can already imagine how it'll taste! I will definitely come back to try it!

I absolutely loveeeed the dogs at Arirang Korean Hotdog! We tried 2 of their classic items + 2 new items for dinner tonight ^^ It took about 10 minutes to prepare, and they were all really tasty Mozza Cheese (+ ketchup) - This classic one is loaded with mozzarella cheese; there is no dog inside, but it gives the perfect cheese pull with every single bite ;) Potato Hotdog (+ garlic mayo) - The potatoes are SUPER light and cripsy, almost like a hash brown! Surprisingly, it wasn't too heavy! Very enjoyable with the garlic mayo combo. Churros Hotdog - This one is perfect for churro lovers It is cripsy, and dusted with sugar, spice and everything nice! Note: there is a savoury dog inside! Oreo Hotdog - This one is my FAVOURITE Initially, I was a little hesitant having savoury dog with oreo, but I was AMAZED! It is less sweet than the churros one; it is super unique and very tasty ^^ Can't wait to come back again! I heard there is a new menu coming out soon, stay tuned.

With the numerous Korean corn dogs around, I was pleasantly surprised by Arirang. I happened to past by and saw their sign for 30% off walk in orders. You can pick the inside!! For example, if you want to order a potato dog, you can pick if you want a full sausage inside, half cheese half sausage, full cheese and what type of cheese (mozzarella or marble with cheddar). I ended up getting the original and the new churro one! Pretty sure it is the cinnamon toast crunch churro cereal haha. There is a wide selection of sauces and toppings (sugar, cinnamon, etc) as usual. I think their batter is even chewier than the other place besides it which I enjoyed. Overall I think I may have converted and will come here for my corn dogs.

Came here multiple times for their soft opening event when they were giving out free corn dogs and croquettes. Super friendly service, even with long line ups, they were very pleasant every time we went. The corn dogs were amazing! There was a chewy, mochi-like texture on the outside, many choices of sauce and they allowed us to get a few different ones. The croquettes were good as well, but a few like the vegetable and bulgogi one had too much onion in my opinion. Pizza one was tasty. I've tried Chun Chung next door and would say that Arirang is a worthy competitor, with Arirang being a tad cheaper if I remember correctly.

With the sudden boom of Korean-style corndog establishments in the North York area, Arirang is yet another solid option. I ordered through Ubereats since there was a BOGO promotion but found out when I arrived that they were also offering BOGO for in-person orders. The corndogs are all made to order so there's an expected ~10min wait but in return, you get a pipping hot and fresh corndog. A perk I noticed for ordering in-person is that there are more sauce options available and there is no limit (unlike on Ubereats where it limits you to 2 sauces/seasonings). Personally, I would recommend the half cheese and half sausage option so you get the best of both worlds. The first half contains mozzarella, which gives a really nice cheese-pull effect, and the second half is a beef sausage which balances out the heaviness of the cheese.

This Korean hot dog chain is just 3 shops away from Chung Chun, another Korean hot dog chain. Frankly, Chung Chun does better hotdogs, but Arirang has croquettes. Mozzarella cheese sausage hotdog: it separated the cheese & sausage. The cheese was gooey but together the taste would've been better. It was crispy but the sausage was a bit cheap tasting (their rival is better) Bulgogi croquette was decent. It had quite a bit of beef in it; got it with garlic mayonnaise which was decent. Red bean croquette was decent. Both croquettes were big: donut sized. The breading was panko like Japanese croquettes. The body was bready, not potatoey.

Came across this place while it was still under construction located next to chun chun. Glad that it finally open because I was eager to try. Not only does this place do Korean corn dogs, they also do croquettes of different kinds such as red bean, pizza, vegetables, etc. Got the potato mozzarella cheese dog with ketchup and mustard. Honestly, I really liked it a lot. Super crispy, cheesey and really fresh in terms of the color of the dog (golden). They have different corn dogs that I am excited to try next time. It was super filling and I'm glad I was able to come here while there was no line up!

Ordered 2 corndogs and 2 croquette so I can share with my family. Like the other Korean corndog places, they make it to order and so there is a wait while the goods are being fried. The corndogs were yummy and it was a good portion as well. I was not a big fan of the croquettes but it was nice to try something different. My partner thought the same thing but we would go back and tr their other flavours.

Korean corndogs are such a nice snack! Arirang Hotdog has recently expanded their locations and their menu! My favourite is their Potato hotdog and if you are a cheese lover, get the Mozzarella hotdog! Try their Oreo hotdog if you are feeling adventurous. The sweet and savoury combination was surprisingly good. I like how everything is made fresh when you order. You also have a variety of sauces to choose from. Condensed milk is traditionally in Korea used - again a yummy sweet and savoury combo.

Do you ya'll remember the OG Chungchun location in North York? A competitor popped up right next door (last year I believe) to give Chungchun a run for their money lol. Pretty smart strategy but how do they really compare? Their hotdogs seem better quality than those cheap ones. My only complaint was that the cheese in ours weren't very melted and still hard. I also noticed they had oreo and churro flavors and to my surprise you can get them with hotdogs inside. I'm not really sure how I feel about those flavors until I give it a try so stay tuned. My fave so far is still KSeoul hotdog

One of the best hotdog places we have tried. We were really impressed by how crunch their dough was. Even being in the fridge for a night, it was still crispy the next day. Their sweet hot dogs are super unique. It's like eating deep fried desserts. 10/10 would recommend.
