How did I never notice this

Cool little (and I mean little) spot next to BAY subway station in yorkville. Bulgogi pretty good (quality of beef could improve). About twenty items; fair price and made quick.

Tip: Takeout ONLY! Passed the sliding glass doors, it's literally an order counter. So no room to sit. A gem in an otherwise overpriced area for food! As part of a makeover show, the salon owner ordered lunch for the group. It's fast food from a mom and pop, but burger did not taste frozen and was well-seasoned! Patty was quite thick and juicy. Located right next to a small entrance to Bay Station, you'd literally walk by if you didn't know it was there. I did not see the prices, but based on the photo provided by another reviewer, it seems very, very reasonable! If you've got a place to eat, i.e. an office, the rock at Yorkville, your home, check this place out!

Bulgogi with rice and salad $9.99

I've been here twice and both times I got the Bulgogi on rice. Delicious and no frills kinda place. When you pick up your order (I usually do it through Ritual), the lady will asks what dressing you want on your salad. I keep wanting to choose a lighter dressing like balsamic or something but somehow my brain just gravitates towards "ranch"...fml. They also will ask if you want tzatziki sauce (I know it sounds weird on bulgogi), get it! Mixed with the rice is super delicious! I think next time i'm going to sub rice for their pasta salad. For some reason i'm not a big fan of the rice they use (I think it's brown rice) because I feel like the texture of the meat and the flavours are more suited for a short grain, white rice type of meal. You feel me?

    Spicy chicken with salad $7.99

Another lovely little lunch joint in the heart of Yorkville, a true hidden gem. This small 200 sq ft shop packs a lot of good stuff. The menu is filled with cheap eats at good prices and the staff there are friendly, efficient and welcoming. I've tried the spicy chicken rice and the bulgogi burger, both were good. I heard someone order a bulgogi poutine off their "secret menu" and apparently it's delicious - will try next time.

Great place to eat at an affordable place. Cleanliness - not so much. Hole in the wall but good to grab a quick bite to eat.

Crispy spring rolls, cool greens, and that delicious fish sauce . The pho is simple -- clear broth, delicate aromatics, nothing heavy or overworked. Just honest flavor. The reason they have "express" in their store name is that the food is usually ready within 2 mins. During busy times, you have to wait until they get to your order. There is a little window where they place food that is ready, and a server brings them to your table (if you are dining in). We ordered the following: A1: Spring Roll 4 pcs ($11.99). A2: Shrimp Fresh Roll 4 pcs ($11.99). M1: Assorted Thap Cam Banh Mi ($8.99). P1: Special Beef Noodle Soup/Pho ($17.99). C2: Grilled Chicken and Fried Egg on Broken Rice ($15.99). V1: Grilled Pork & Spring Rolls with Vermicelli ($18.99). D1: Passion-Mango Green Tea ($4.99). D4: Ice Coffee with Condensed Milk ($4.99). D5: Pop x 2 ($1.99 x 2). The customer service is good. They forgot to tell us that extra condiments can be found on a counter near the washroom. There is plenty of indoor tables, most of them are for two people. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-230

This location is a full restaurant with plenty of indoor seating. There is easy-listening music playing in the background. I ordered the following: 1. Signature Poutine with Beef ($9.99). 2. Plum Cold Brew ($3.99). I've never had the Poutine before. It was good. I've had the Plum Cold Brew before and it was like I remembered. This restaurant chain introduced the "Chinese Hamburger" in a crispy bun to Toronto back in 2021-05-23 (soft opening). Very tasty indeed! Plus, they have a wide variety of appetizers. The two owners are from China. The brand was founded in Beijing on 2014-04-08 and now has over 65 locations in Beijing. The Chinese Hamburger is called Rou Jia Mo (肉夹馍) in Chinese, which literally translates to "meat in a bun". It is the cuisine of China's Shaanxi province, which has the capital city of Xi'An (or Xian), where you find the terracotta warriors. For Chinese hamburgers, there are two types of buns: crispy and non-crispy. Most restaurants use the non-crispy buns but Bingz is the only restaurant in the GTA that uses the baked crispy buns. There is free WiFi. The restaurant wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washrooms, which is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-244
