Good chicken. I couldn't hear them at the drive thru so they told me to pull forward to the window. I got the 12 piece meal for $20. It came with 2 sides, I got mash potatoes & coleslaw. I also asked them for 10 pieces original & 2 spicy. The spicy was pretty good. I would definitely get 1/2 original & 1/2 spicy next time. The mash potatoes & coleslaw wasn't that great. The food is typically up to par, but the service fluctuates between okay and "why do I keep coming here?" When I do decide to go here, I have to weigh my options - extremely slow service but leave with correct order, OR faster service without being able to choose your options and still leave with items missing.. One good thing about this location is that the food is usually up to expectations for the franchise. My goodness. What good chicken. Just finished work and needed some dinner for my hotel room. Really wanted chicken. Didn't want a chain, but they were too far away. She asked me to wait a minute, but it was 5 minutes. I was researching other places to eat nearby before she asked me what I wanted. She was out of chicken sandwiches. The restaurant must be falling on hard times to being churning out incomplete orders. Does it feel good to rip off customers and not deliver what they paid for? My order was incomplete, ordered delivery, bag was sealed but missing items. And there was no recompense. How hard is it to read and put everything ordered in the bag? Mistakes happen but no one is this consistently inept (see testimony of other reviewers), and with 2/5 of the order items missing, which makes it suspect. "Church's Chicken"? Yeah right more like "Chernobog's Chicken". They don't seem to care and want to gamble on people not willing to make the effort to have them correct since they make it a hassle. The chicken was good too. I guess they don't mind earning 1-star reviews after bilking people out of their money. Well, good luck with that. Ordering is like playing the slot machines. You'll put in money and no guarantee what you'll get in return. I and those also that missed on their items ordered have no incentive to say anything good about this place or order again for that reason. If you want good reviews, then provide good service. I was here tonight at 7:45, 5/23/2020. I ordered 2 pies and wasn't given them. Had to remind them and he said he didn't charge me for them so he had to take my card again. Then I got home and the pies weren't even in the box with the drizzled icing. Which is the best part. I also didn't get the ranch or honey mustard I asked for in the drive through. I wasn't asked again in the window. So I had no sauces for my chicken or fries. My fries were also not hot and they were soggy. Usually my order is fantastic with good fries. I like this place. The chicken is decent....not too greasy. It's much better than KFC. I am not a huge fan of chicken with bones (I'm weird that way) so I always get the chicken tenders and they are pretty decent. Especially with their honey mustard sauce. I prefer a side of potatoes and gravy over the French fries. The biscuits are yummy of you get them hot and fresh. It's fast food but it's decent fast food. The service here is also pretty good. I try not to go inside fast food locations so I don't get freaked out by what I see and end up going hungry so I can't speak for the cleanliness of the location. read more

We were on our way to Joes Grotto. So, Church's is one of our favorite places. We were looking forward to some hot fresh chicken. We both ordered the 2 pc meal with mashed potatoes and the biscuit. Plus a 1/2 gal of sweet tea. The meal was handed to us. Then in the middle of getting our drinks because the tea is on the other side of the counter we can't get our own. Another customer butted in and the 2 employees began helping that person and sat our cups down. I said, can we please get our drinks? Then there were no 1/2 gal of tea even available. So they had to get it from the dispenser as we waited. So as much as the service was terrible, to top it off as the chicken was noticeably low, we did get chicken that had obviously been sitting probably since lunch. We ordered at 3:30 ish. The chicken crust was hard and dry. The biscuit was hard. The only thing good was the mashed potatoes. We were so disappointed and will never go to that location again. read more

At 10:15 on Thursday I stopped by because all the lights were on including the flashing "OPEN" sign. Pulled into the drive through and after repeated asking if they were open or if I could order still received no response. I pulled around to leave or see what was up and caught the curb. A one inch high curb that pointlessly separates the drive thru from parking with no paint to indicate its presence if you're not paying close attention. Tire popped and I park under the billboard at the edge of the parking lot. Staff all stared as I began changing my tire. Then, without asking if everything was okay or if I needed help, they turned off all the lights and left. Luckily the billboard provided light and had I chosen any other part of the lot I would have screwed. I don't know about their food, but the staff clearly doesn't care. If your lights are on, be prepared to say "sorry we're closed" or at least turn off the open sign! Then be a descent human being if someone gets stranded in your lot. What if I didn't have a spare and had to leave my car overnight? Would they have towed it away as trespassing? read more

You truly can never go wrong with Church's Fried Chicken. Is it healthy? Nope, but man, is it good. Their flavor for the chicken is just so consistent every time and so tasty. Their mashed potatoes are also great along with the fried okra. The corn has always been bad every time we buy it...it always looks so good, but every time, it's bland and soggy. There is a girl that works there that is quite obnoxious. She's loud, talks to herself, and talks randomly to people with the strangest remarks. Though she's happy...you can clearly tell her co-workers can't stand her. Poor girl. The chicken is good, the strips are nice and fresh, but the mac & cheese is just awful. They started offering a "baked" mac&cheese, but it's really just the same crap with a little shredded cheese put in. They make you ask for tea that if only available behind the counter. That's not a big deal if it's not busy. When it is busy, expect to wait and it feels like your bothering them. I tried the new fish filets as well and lets just say you might want to pass. This place isn't the cleanest place in the world but the standard chicken is good and not as greasy as say KFC. I understand that it's a hard time for restaurants right now, but tonight is the last time I spend money at this one. My dad likes Churches Chicken so at least once a week I'm buying food from here. At least 3 out of 4 times something is wrong. I usually don't complain and just give my food to my dogs. The last 2 times, my jalapeño pepper was missing. That's not a real big issue, but it happened twice in a row. Tonight I ordered 2 wings and 2 legs and I let the drive up cashier know not to forget my jalapeño pepper. Satisfied that my pepper would be included, I paid and came home only to discover that I got 2 wings and 2 thighs and 5 jalapeño peppers. Irritated as hell, I decided to call and speak with a manager. I've tried calling for over an hour taking a 2 minute break between calls. About 12 times I've called and no one answers!!! I wanted to give up after the 2nd time, but it became a mission to speak to someone. MISSION FAILED!!! So I googled how to leave a review and now I'm here. I'm really hoping someone employed at this Churches will read this review and know that your store has issues and has ruined my dinner for the absolute last time! I'm so done.
