My husband and I visited this location on Saturday, August 22, around 7:30 PM, and once again, we had a great experience! This is one of our favorite locations because it's huge, spacious, and has plenty of parking--even bigger than the location we've visited in Phoenix. We knew they were pretty busy, and reservations were booked up online, so instead of waiting for a reservation, we decided to drive over and get on the waitlist. We only waited about 10 minutes, which wasn't bad at all! We usually prefer a slightly larger table, but this time we were seated at a smaller table, and honestly, it was perfectly fine. Our service was amazing, and the manager was absolutely wonderful! She even brought us a complimentary risotto cheese appetizer, and it was AMAZING! Such a nice unexpected surprise and definitely appreciated. Of course, we had to order one of our favorites--the pan pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and garlic. You can also add fresh-grated cheese, which makes it even better! We've been to this location several times, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots. The food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience keep bringing us back. Federal Pizza, please consider opening a location in the West Valley! We would LOVE to see one in the Litchfield Park/Verrado area. We definitely need one closer to us! They also offer drink specials on select drinks during the week, generally until around 5PM. This has to be one of my favorite pizza places right now!! I loved the variety of pizza options (especially since I was able to order gluten free!). You can order two different types of pizza on the same dough which is a nice option especially having a small party and wanting to try a few different things! The wings look like they are fake as they come out looking picture perfect! The sauce options are nice too! I believe they had a BBQ, hot honey (what we got), buffalo and a few other flavors. They were very crispy and flavorful the "hot" wasn't over powering for the sauce we got. We asked for a recommendation for the pasta and the server suggested the Mickey White. This did not disappoint it was so good even with the gluten free pasta! The vegetables, all paired very well together along with the chicken! It's a little dim on the inside but it would be a great space for dinner, date night or even just a friend gathering. From them opening the door to enter to when you leave they serve you oh so well! This was our second time here. There is seating at high top tables , low tables and a bar area. We couldn't get those Windsor Gold wings out of our mind. Who knew mustard base hot wing would be so good? Pair that with the Casanova pizza it's perfection. The pizza has a base of Roasted garlic oil cheese dates, Ricotta, prosciutto, arugula and a delicious Balsamic drizzle. Soak up the goodness of the wing sauce with the crust. I'm telling you!!!!! Federal Pizza has a really fun vibe and plenty of space, especially if you're going with a big group. The long, well lit tables make it feel welcoming for gatherings. One thing I noticed was that the staff all had a similar alternative style with lots of tattoos, which fit the restaurant's overall aesthetic. I ordered the thick pan pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with plenty of pepperoni and cheese. The sparkling water option was also a nice bonus and something I always appreciate. The only downside was that I felt a little sick after eating, so that's the reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. To my surprise, they had a half pizza and salad special and great way to intro the pizzas if you are unsure. Pizza was great with the proper leoparding under the crust as well as the chopped salad was delicious with a little bit of the salami and peppers mixed in. The restaurant has plenty of seating both inside and outside. It is a nice casual vibe but also would be a great date night spot. Our son loves coming here to play the games, which makes it a fun outing for the family. We have been going for lunch recently because the lunch special is a great portion and perfect lunch! One note: the salads tend to come heavily dressed, so I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side. I took my dad to Federal Pizza because he had never been and I really enjoyed my pizza here! Made reservations for an early Saturday dinner, I was glad I did because it was very busy when we arrived with many groups waiting for tables -- we breezed right in and even though we were 10 mins early they sat us right away. At first she sat us in these tables that were against a wall and next to a very large group with lots of screaming kids. Luckily there was a high top at the window -- I don't usually love sitting at a high top table but this one was comfortable -- my only complaint is that we were right under the air vent and even though it was a nice evening out (in March) the air was really cold -- so we were cold through our whole meal, which was kind of annoying. I really wanted to get the pan pizza but it takes ~25 minutes where the regular pizzas take about ~18 mins -- according to the waitress. So we opted for the regular pizza but you can order the toppings from the deep dish. The deep dish crust is so amazing though -- I should have waited the extra few minutes but I ordered a half and half of At Last and then the White Fig (but as a regular pizza not the deep dish). My dad ordered a custom pizza with meatballs and mushrooms. He enjoyed his pizza quite a bit -- mine was good but I was kicking myself for not ordering the pan -- oh well next time! read more

My friend and I came here for lunch during the weekday at 12:00. First time here, not knowing what to expect, knowing that it is a very popular place I did make a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived the lunch crowd was just coming in. The place has a takeout area, inside and patio dining with a fairly large bar. Saba was our host and also server, super nice, very friendly and attentive. We sat at the high tops in the bar area which was great. We ordered the $6 pitcher of beer, one of our favorites, the Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing. My friend ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Manifesto Pizza. The pizza is a 12 inch pizza, perfect for a single person. The pizzas came out hot and looking great. We were both very please on how the crust looked and both pizzas tasted great. My friend devoured the Pepperoni while I took half of mine home. Trevor's which is right next door practically, better watch out! For as much as I love Trevor's... Federal Pizza pizzas are half the price, and they offer $6 pitcher of well named brand beers. We will definitely be back for lunch again. Atmosphere: very open, indoor, patio, big bar area. Love this place We had our favorite cheesy bread not to be missed. And today we tried the meatball pizza done pan style-Detroit square style. Allow 30 minutes for this perfect creation to arrive. My husband is not big on bread but he gave this pizza 5 star in crust! I agree it's so fresh and delicious and the ingredients used made it our new favorite pizza. What I liked most is the flavor of it! I personally don't like a drowned in sauce pizza because sometimes all you taste is sauce. This blended well and provided the perfect knife and fork bite. The only hiccups we had was the mismatch in the check with something added that we did not order. Had to get it reverted after paying since I did not check the details before paying. Ambiance: Great interiors and vibe here including that you will see in restroom. A pacman gaming console for kids as well which my kid enjoyed. Full wall wallpapers wherever possible. Carrom board on wall. Full open bar and half open kitchen gives a great experience overall. They have plenty of seating indoor outdoor. Hygiene: It's a new spot so everything was very clean and tidy. Finally got to stop in and try the new location in PV! We came in on a Friday night around 5:30 and it was packed! A reservation is highly recommended Fridays and Saturdays. We were seated quickly and within then promptly greeted by our server Natalie to grab our drink order. My husband and I shared the cheesy garlic bread app. The marinara dipping sauce is an arrabiata so it has a little kick to it, which we both really enjoyed. For our mains My husband ordered the flaming lips pizza and I went for the Tuscan Panzanella salad with chicken added. It was no surprise the pizza was fantastic, but I was shocked at how much I enjoyed my salad. I really appreciate when a restaraunt puts thought and effort into the craft of their salad's, especially when that's not their main specialty. Federal Pizza at Paradise Valley has such a cool vibe!! It's much larger than the original Federal Pizza in central Phoenix. The staff is incredible and they're always so friendly and welcoming. I love that the bar is larger and has outdoor seating. The menu is a wide range of great Italian food options like salad, pizza, and pasta. I LOVED the new deep dish pizza which I tried for the first time this visit. The crust was perfect and the sauce to cheese ratio was also perfection. The cheesy bread is a great starter and a god portion plus it comes with the side of red sauce. The Double Down lunch special is also a great option if you're dining before 4p and lets you get half a pizza and a side salad for $15. I was so excited to try this location because I had federal pizza probably about three years ago in South Phoenix and I remember being so good. I was so bummed with this visit. Our server was amazing and funny. We ordered The Federal Chop salad. That was delicious! I'll eat that all day. Then we ordered some chicken wings. We had to send them back because they were under cooked. We got two types of pizza. The Pineapple Express and The Big Star. So disappointing. Lacked flavor and needed salt. Was very floppy and soggy. We took the leftovers home and I reheated a piece the next day. I couldn't even finish that. The cheese got waxy, which makes me think it's not high-quality cheese but honestly, I don't know. I met at a friend here for dinner one night, and it was my first time trying the place. The menu has just enough options for it to be difficult to decide, (good thing) but we both got a pizza, and then we got the crispy mozzarella. I wasn't a huge fan of the mozzarella due to there being arugula on it, but I picked around it. The waitress warned that the Detroit style pizza would take a little bit of time to come out, Which we were fine with waiting. While we were waiting for our order to come out, we found it very difficult to have a conversation because it is so obnoxiously loud in this restaurant. Between the people chatting, the bar, and the extremely loud music, it was unbearable. We felt like we had to shout to hear each other, and it was just the two of us. Once our pizzas finally came out, I found that the Detroit style pizza was undercooked extremely. The crust was still super doughy, and it was really hard to eat the pizza because it was very flimsy, and all the toppings were falling off, due to it not being cooked well. My friend got the Margarita pizza and that one was delicious. I definitely want to try this place again, but I'm super bummed with the Detroit style pizza, considering how expensive it is and the long wait time for it to not even be cooked all the way. This was actually a very highly recommended item, I am a big fan of deep dish pizza, but this is Detroit Style pizza crust, a little on the side of thicker bread, I personally enjoyed it. Manifesto was a thin crust pizza with red sauce, cheese blend, fennel, mushroom trio, Italian sausage, we passed on the goat cheese. I really enjoyed the Manifesto Pizza, thin crust is very good, I personally just prefer the Detroit Style. We ordered the 15 Wings plain with sauce on the side, half came out with sauce, so later they comped us 15 more wings all with out sauce, which was unexpected but a great customer service gesture. Nice new restaurant as t the PV Mall location, very busy opening in the first couple weeks. Who would have known to have reservations at a pizza place. We love the happy hour here! It's only $6.00 for a glass of wine or a pitcher of beer before 5:00 every day. The Detroit style pizzas are delicious and worth the wait (it takes extra time to make). It's best to get a reservation if you are coming on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is like a party, but you can still have a conversation over the noise. This is one of those fancy open air restaurants. Not only that but they have a very small shop on the side that sells alcohol, drinks, and ice cream if you feel like taking some extra items to go. I tried out their cheesy garlic bread and flaming lips pizza. I was pleasantly surprised that the cheesy garlic bread was almost as big as an actual entrée. The flaming lips was pretty good and I was able to save some for extra. The service was amiable and attentive. This new Federal Pizza location was so needed in this area, and we absolutely love it. It's consistently busy, so do yourself a favor and make a reservation ahead of time or be prepared to wait, it's popular for a reason. The pizzas are great with tons of options. We've ordered straight off the pie menu and also built our own combinations, and every single one has been a hit with the whole family. The salads are excellent, whether you're looking for something small or more filling. The Tasty Little Salad is a perfect side option, and the full-size salads are generous. We've tried and loved the Caesar, Federal Chop, Wedge, and Tasty Little Salad, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. The wings are flavorful, high quality, and come with multiple sauce options. A huge bonus is that you can split sauces on larger orders, making it easy for everyone at the table to enjoy their favorites or try something new. Even the chicken tenders impressed us, good-sized pieces, lightly breaded, clearly not frozen junk, and loved by both kids and adults. The spaghetti and meatballs is also fantastic with a huge portion; we definitely had leftovers to take home. The atmosphere really sets this place apart. They have old-school arcade games like Mortal Kombat and Pac-Man, which is such a fun touch. Kids love it, and adults will appreciate the nostalgia. The smell of pizza cooking is so delicious. The staff were friendly and assisted me quickly for my togo order. I ordered the Garlic Cheese bread and federal buffalo wings for appetizers, then got pepperoni pizza and a Margherita pizza, and for dessert got their Bombolini with two chocolate sauces instead of caramel and everything was absolutely amazing! We loved it! Federal pizza is definitely a place to check out if you have not already. The flavors of everything were perfect!
