We were accidentally told the wrong time for happy hour ending -- honestly not a huge deal to us, we just moved on -- but the staff still honored the happy hour pricing and even gave us drinks on the house because of the confusion. That level of customer service is rare. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the experience they provide. Roasted veggie plate was good and an interesting starter. The pizza, Big Star, was good but the center was limp. The crust could definitely be a little crispier. This is located in the new resurgence of the PV Mall. Came here for lunch and was nervous about having to get an entire pizza . To my surprise, they had a half pizza and salad special and great way to intro the pizzas if you are unsure. Pizza was great with the proper leoparding under the crust as well as the chopped salad was delicious with a little bit of the salami and peppers mixed in. I took my dad to Federal Pizza because he had never been and I really enjoyed my pizza here! Made reservations for an early Saturday dinner, I was glad I did because it was very busy when we arrived with many groups waiting for tables -- we breezed right in and even though we were 10 mins early they sat us right away. At first she sat us in these tables that were against a wall and next to a very large group with lots of screaming kids. Luckily there was a high top at the window -- I don't usually love sitting at a high top table but this one was comfortable -- my only complaint is that we were right under the air vent and even though it was a nice evening out (in March) the air was really cold -- so we were cold through our whole meal, which was kind of annoying. I really wanted to get the pan pizza but it takes ~25 minutes where the regular pizzas take about ~18 mins -- according to the waitress. So we opted for the regular pizza but you can order the toppings from the deep dish. The deep dish crust is so amazing though -- I should have waited the extra few minutes but I ordered a half and half of At Last and then the White Fig (but as a regular pizza not the deep dish). My dad ordered a custom pizza with meatballs and mushrooms. He enjoyed his pizza quite a bit -- mine was good but I was kicking myself for not ordering the pan -- oh well next time! read more

My friend and I came here for lunch during the weekday at 12:00. First time here, not knowing what to expect, knowing that it is a very popular place I did make a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived the lunch crowd was just coming in. The place has a takeout area, inside and patio dining with a fairly large bar. Saba was our host and also server, super nice, very friendly and attentive. We sat at the high tops in the bar area which was great. We ordered the $6 pitcher of beer, one of our favorites, the Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing. My friend ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Manifesto Pizza. The pizza is a 12 inch pizza, perfect for a single person. The pizzas came out hot and looking great. We were both very please on how the crust looked and both pizzas tasted great. My friend devoured the Pepperoni while I took half of mine home. Trevor's which is right next door practically, better watch out! For as much as I love Trevor's... Federal Pizza pizzas are half the price, and they offer $6 pitcher of well named brand beers. We will definitely be back for lunch again. Atmosphere: very open, indoor, patio, big bar area. We ordered the pan pizza with pepperoni and roasted garlic cloves for delivery. I was excited to find another place that offered the roasted garlic since I've only seen MOD have this option. They had some interesting specialty pizzas that I wanted to try, however I have children that would absolutely refuse to eat them. Sauce was good, but the pizza was a little too doughy in the middle and there weren't a lot of toppings. Also, all of the cheese slid into the middle of the pizza so the outer area of the slices were just sauce and pepperoni. Overall I'd say 6/10. read more

Love this place We had our favorite cheesy bread not to be missed. And today we tried the meatball pizza done pan style-Detroit square style. Allow 30 minutes for this perfect creation to arrive. My husband is not big on bread but he gave this pizza 5 star in crust! I agree it's so fresh and delicious and the ingredients used made it our new favorite pizza. Finally got to stop in and try the new location in PV! We came in on a Friday night around 5:30 and it was packed! A reservation is highly recommended Fridays and Saturdays. We were seated quickly and within then promptly greeted by our server Natalie to grab our drink order. My husband and I shared the cheesy garlic bread app. The marinara dipping sauce is an arrabiata so it has a little kick to it, which we both really enjoyed. For our mains My husband ordered the flaming lips pizza and I went for the Tuscan Panzanella salad with chicken added. It was no surprise the pizza was fantastic, but I was shocked at how much I enjoyed my salad. I really appreciate when a restaraunt puts thought and effort into the craft of their salad's, especially when that's not their main specialty. Spacious dining room, bar, and, large outdoor patio (with heaters) can accommodate any size group. Ashley tended to us in rapid speed and didn't let up! Even other servers popped by to help if they saw empty plates or glasses. Food was beyond delicious and very well priced. I'm going to say this: the cheesy garlic bread is the best I ever had! Federal Pizza at Paradise Valley has such a cool vibe!! It's much larger than the original Federal Pizza in central Phoenix. The staff is incredible and they're always so friendly and welcoming. I love that the bar is larger and has outdoor seating. The menu is a wide range of great Italian food options like salad, pizza, and pasta. I LOVED the new deep dish pizza which I tried for the first time this visit. The crust was perfect and the sauce to cheese ratio was also perfection. The cheesy bread is a great starter and a god portion plus it comes with the side of red sauce. The Double Down lunch special is also a great option if you're dining before 4p and lets you get half a pizza and a side salad for $15. I had the manifesto pizza and Caesar salad and it was plenty of food for 1 person. We had to send them back because they were under cooked. We got two types of pizza. The Pineapple Express and The Big Star. So disappointing. Lacked flavor and needed salt. Was very floppy and soggy. We took the leftovers home and I reheated a piece the next day. I couldn't even finish that. The cheese got waxy, which makes me think it's not high-quality cheese but honestly, I don't know. The menu has just enough options for it to be difficult to decide, (good thing) but we both got a pizza, and then we got the crispy mozzarella. I wasn't a huge fan of the mozzarella due to there being arugula on it, but I picked around it. The waitress warned that the Detroit style pizza would take a little bit of time to come out, Which we were fine with waiting. While we were waiting for our order to come out, we found it very difficult to have a conversation because it is so obnoxiously loud in this restaurant. Between the people chatting, the bar, and the extremely loud music, it was unbearable. We felt like we had to shout to hear each other, and it was just the two of us. Once our pizzas finally came out, I found that the Detroit style pizza was undercooked extremely. The crust was still super doughy, and it was really hard to eat the pizza because it was very flimsy, and all the toppings were falling off, due to it not being cooked well. My friend got the Margarita pizza and that one was delicious. I definitely want to try this place again, but I'm super bummed with the Detroit style pizza, considering how expensive it is and the long wait time for it to not even be cooked all the way. My husband and I went to this location on Saturday, February 11 early afternoon for early dinner. We do like this location a lot because it's very spacious compared to the other location and the staff is very friendly. They do have happy hour available every single day from 3 to 5 PM on select drinks such as beers and or wine or pictures of beer. It would be nice if they have appetizers included as well. We do love their pan pizza so we always get the straight up pizza and add pepperoni, extra cheese, sausage and roasted garlic and we always opt for the appetizer the cheesy bread we noticed this happened to us once before and we had them corrected, but it happened again, where they're not flattening the bread all the way, so cheese is evenly distributed over the whole cheesy garlic bread and not just select pieces because 3 to 4 corners of our pizza. It was no cheese just bread and it was just cheese right in the middle so definitely for staff in the kitchen to ensure that the cheesy garlic bread is flattened out all the way so is fully round and cheese is over the whole entire pizza Cheesie bread excuse me and for our dinner for two for the pan piece of cheesy bread picture of beer and one glass of wine was a little over $60. We did have pizza leftovers and we wish they will open up a location in the West Valley in a Prada surprise and or a Goodyear in Lynchfield area and or Verdado. read more

Federal Pizza - PV Gus's Pan Pizza Detroit Style Supremium a thicker crust pizza with red sauce, sopressata salami, pepperoncini, sweet drop peppers, castelvetrano olives, wood roasted onions, oregano, grana paranoid, on a crispy caramelized crust. This was actually a very highly recommended item, I am a big fan of deep dish pizza, but this is Detroit Style pizza crust, a little on the side of thicker bread, I personally enjoyed it. Manifesto was a thin crust pizza with red sauce, cheese blend, fennel, mushroom trio, Italian sausage, we passed on the goat cheese. I really enjoyed the Manifesto Pizza, thin crust is very good, I personally just prefer the Detroit Style. We ordered the 15 Wings plain with sauce on the side, half came out with sauce, so later they comped us 15 more wings all with out sauce, which was unexpected but a great customer service gesture. Nice new restaurant as t the PV Mall location, very busy opening in the first couple weeks. Who would have known to have reservations at a pizza place. We had an assortment of pizza including pepperoni, cheese, white fig, and supreme. Pizzas were about 12 inches and relatively thin. The white fig had balsamic and feta and was my favorite. My girlfriend and I wanted to try this new location since we've always had great experiences and food at the other Phoenix location. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. For starters, we waited about 30 minutes before anyone even came to our table to take a drink order. Because of the wait, we decided to order our food at the same time. Then another 15 minutes passed and a different waiter came up, introduced himself, and asked what he could get us to drink. We explained that someone had already taken our order and that we were still just waiting on waters. Meanwhile, we watched our original waitress bring cocktails to a table behind us who had arrived after we did, while we still had nothing on our table. Eventually, the second waiter ended up bringing our waters instead. Not exactly a great start - and we weren't even to the food yet. Meanwhile, we watched multiple tables that were seated after us receive both their drinks and food before us, despite us ordering much earlier. As we sit with empty water glasses waiting for them to be refilled. Our appetizers finally arrived and were ice cold. Then it took over an hour for our pizza to come out. To make things worse, half the pizza had random blue cheese on it that we never ordered, and the pizza itself was severely undercooked. There was absolutely no crisp to the crust --you couldn't even pick up a slice without all the toppings immediately sliding off. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience from both a service and food standpoint. We definitely won't be returning to this location. Honestly, the pizza wasn't even decent reheated in the air fryer later, which really says something in my opinion. Take some notes from the Phoenix location as you guys really need to improve! Terrible location don't waste your time. Go to the other location because this one can't get a single thing right. Waste of time waste of money. Needs new management and ownership. read more

We have been to the newest Federal Pizza location several times, and the staff has treated us so well every time! Our favorite is the margarita pizza, and the banana pudding for dessert. Such a fun vibe! We will be back soon! read more
