Churches chicken used to be my family's favorite until their prices went up and increased. We liked that their chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Their mashed potatoes were okay. Some times they were not great. I could sometimes tell they were made from a package mix. Their buttered biscuits were really delicious and full of butter flavor. Church's is slept on! I got the Spicy Tender Wrap, which was delicious. Crunchy and covered in coleslaw. Mashed Potatoes and Gravy were great too. The only thing that was kind of dry was the Honey-Butter Biscuit, I think Popeyes has better biscuits. Not bad for the price though! read more

The only grace I'll give is that I visited 30 mins before closing. But even then it was still terrible. Placed an online order for pickup at 9:30. Went to the drive thru to find a sign that said "online order pickups inside" a little annoying but fine. Walk in and they immediately tell me lobby is closed bc they just mopped... when they're open until 10. Told them I have an online order and they say they'll bring it out. Waited 15 mins for them to come out and tell me they didn't have TWO of the items I ordered. After finally getting the food, half of which I did not order, the chicken sandwich was honestly sad. I'm a huge fan of KFC but after much insistence from my wife, I decided to try church's. The food tasted great, I would say even better than KFC. I didn't like that the mashed potatoes already came with gravy instead of on the side but they were really tasty. The service was very quick and employees were friendly. The downside is the parking lot being so small and narrow. Makes it hard to get in and out without almost hitting someone. read more

JWow.exe is not responding. Why? Because she's eating fried chicken! I love fried chicken. I love Church's Chicken. I love the fried chicken and the honey biscuits from Church's Chicken to be exact. As my high school friend once said, Church's Chicken is only sold in the hood and upon reflection, she might have a point! Nonetheless, they make good chicken and this location is no different. The people are friendly, the lobby is significantly cleaner here than at other locations, and the chicken is always hot and juicy. Is the chicken a little greasy? Sure. I am really up set with this place not only did we confirm our order 3 times, when we picked it up at the window Dulce D confirmed our order . We came back to this location to show them our pictures, our several attempts at trying to reach the store and about the undercooked food . Juan was who helped us . He stated that we would have to bring the food back before they could help us with the undercooked and cold . I was extremely confused . I think he was too . Came here for doordash on Friday around 9:00, the male employee who was mopping with the gray MLB hat was patient, nice and made sure that all of the orders went out. He was helpful and kept checking every few minutes to make sure they were ready. He came out to our car when it was ready and handed us our order, even though the lobby was closed. read more

I'm always on the lookout for good southern fried chicken place. Church's may not be perfect, but it is good. It turns a sunny day, into a yellow hazed sunset, or worse. The restaurant was clean, service polite and friendly. There was a few other patrons here, who were munching down on their food and seeming to enjoy themselves. As I waited for my order, I started reading the mostly one and two review Yelp'ers, one star take of Church's and began to wonder if I was in the wrong place. Then I came across Javier's brief five star offering which seemed closer to reality. The Haboob outside aside, this was a pretty good chicken place. Three and a half stars good, or as they say on Yelp "A-Okay". I had the Chicken Sandwich, two strips on a thick cut white bread with mayo, lettuce and tomato for $2.99. Not bad, better if it had three, but... I also tried their three piece boneless wings for $2 something. All this with my drink came to $6.79, which wasn't a steal but I thought fairly priced. So I will be back in the near future to try their other offerings. Sadly, the southern delicacy of Liver is not on the menu. Sorry Yelp'er Sue from Ocala, FL! We ordered the 18 piece family meal! It was so good! We got half spicy, and half not and I 100% liked the spicy way more. Their sides were pretty good, but the rolls tasted a little stale and the corn on the cob was very ordinary. Seemed like they just boiled it. Over all we were very pleased though! As he was packing the chicken in the box he only gave us one box of 8pc Spicy the other 8pc was supposed to be original. He never filled another box he just filled the togo box with the one 8pc Spicy with the sides and gave us our to side half gallon drinks that's it.
