This place did not disappoint! We got greeted right away and ordered a turkey hoagie and an original Philly cheesesteak with a side of fries. The hoagie was great, and the meat was very delicious. The cheesesteak was where it was at though, such great taste and the bread was so soft. The fries were yummy too. We enjoyed this spot as the service was quick and there were seating options with a decor that gave a homie feel

Originally planned to check out a different sub place but they were closed due to a family emergency so Yelped and found this was the closest sub shop. You can feel the small family owned vibe as soon as you walk in. They're obviously famous for their Philly cheese steaks so ordered the 12 inch at the counter. Once your order is ready they'll call your name. I thought it was pretty tasty but I could not taste their famous red sauce at all. Meat was flavored well but definitely skimpy. The ends, about a third of the sandwich, was lacking meat. They could fill it up and add more onion. There's a 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card which is kind of a pet peeve of mine. They should at least have a sign to give the customers an option.

Cheesesteaks are not my first go to but it was actually pretty good! I ordered the 12 inch "philly" cheesesteak $14.59 which had American cheese, onion, and their red sauce. It was seasoned well and tasty. The restaurant has that Philly vibe. The staff was very friendly and I'd eat here again

Sunday April 6th, around dinnertime. I can't believe how I haven't written a review for this place yet. I have been here numerous times! This is truly a mom and pop, one of a kind hot sandwich shop. When you walk in, you are warmly greeted and hear the clanging of the tongs on the grill. After you place your order at the counter with one of the friendly staff members your name will be called out when it's your time to pick up. Seat yourself in one of their diner-like booths or seats and get ready to sink your teeth into a tasty Philly cheese steak! We ordered the original Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, $12.49 done "hoagie style." The friendly worker advised us to omit the red sauce if we chose "hoagie style" because the spices, oils, lettuce and tomato (for an additional 75 cents) will be just right. He was right! The fresh grilled meat and toppings were just perfect on the toasted Italian soft roll. Fresh grilled onions are just the best, aren't they? No matter where I go, I request my onions to be well grilled. Their premium fries were hot and fresh! $2.99. Personally, a bit more salt would have made them outstanding but the crisp outside and tender inside were pleasing. While enjoying our meal, we noticed many regulars entering and being greeted by name. It's that kind of place with a community vibe. Honestly, this is what we could use more of. :)

This is by far the BEST philly cheesesteak I've had in AZ! The original Philly and buffalo chicken are too good! I just love how thin they cut their meats. It's giving mom and pop shop vibes and I'm a huge fan! The food is great and their service is even better!

Family operated business. They were very friendly and helpful with the menu. There is plenty of seating area inside. We ordered 2 Turkey Hoagies and 1 Original Philly Cheese Steak. Turkey sandwich had a good amount of turkey and cheese, it was good and very filling . Cheesesteak was very tasty, however; I wished the bread was more toasty. Just a preference of mine.

I haven't been here in over 15 years, but it has become one of my kids favorite places. So, thought I'd give it another chance. Wow... My cheesecake was delicious and fresh and the seasoned wedges were hot and crispy. Cute little spot with lots of memorabilia. Best part was the service!!

Did your prices go up? I ordered an 8" and a 12" turkey sub--10.49 and 13.49 on the website. Tiny bag of chips. I got a receipt of 32.03. It does not add up.

Prices have been the same for about a year. They are posted on the wall by entrance, on their To Go menus, and they are also shared on this page amongst the photos of Menu.

The Legend steak was a disaster. It was undercooked, had no salt, and had a funky taste to it. I asked for it to be cooked more, and it was still undercooked when the waitress brought it back out. I eat medium rare steak frequently and this was under rare as it wasn't even warm to the touch the first time. For a place that highlights steak in the middle of the menu, I'm surprised they didn't do better. The waitress made excuses that their grill can only cook it that way, which is not good.

The oysters are a must, the steak is cooked perfectly, and everything is plated so thoughtfully it really feels like a full experience, not just a meal. The dinner staff has also always been attentive, friendly, and on point. That said, I recently came in for brunch and had a very different experience. I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. I'll definitely be back for dinner, but I'd probably skip brunch next time.

We were setup in a separate dining area from the main dining room, which allowed for better conversation without added noise. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time we were there, which was a couple hours. The milk bread is an absolute must! It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.

I ordered the double meat platter with a half rack of ribs and brisket. The sides were chose were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The platter came with the two rolls, as well. This was to share with one other person. I'd say the ribs were okay, not my favorite! The brisket, on the other hand, had a PERFECT Smokey taste. The Mac and cheese was okay and so were the baked beans (they were super sweet, if that's what you're going for!). Add the regular bbq sauce on the side for dipping and you've got a tasty meal! After dining, we were able to go around the antique shop in the back. It was HUGE! And it kept GOING AND GOING! There here vendors of all sorts from furniture to home goods to jewelry to clothes/shoes. There's a little something for everyone here! There was even a hidden (I guess not hidden if you know about it), second hand, vintage clothing store in the very back. I didn't walk out with anything, but it was as worth the window shopping! The exit was through the antique shop near the cash wrap. Overall, the experience was lovely. The food was in the mid range for me, but I'd come back for dessert and the shopping.

Our server greeted us quickly and was jam packed with suggestions of comparable commercial beers to their brand of beers. Not going to lie, their brand is delicious and actually a bit better than the commercial brand We had their Dead out & Dont F it up. Dead out is a must try, I'm not in any way a dark ale person but this was by far more tasty than the Don't f it up. However both were wonderful. The food is not a reason to go. We both had tacos and shared onion rings. The meat was cooked perfectly but the sauce was less palatable, flavors were too overpowering and drenched sauce. It killed the flavor of the meat itself. When mentioned it to the server, she simply shrugged and stated they do have "heat", I said that it was too much on there, lifted a piece with my fork and it was dripping, covered. Heat was not the issue, too much was. The sauce itself was tasty, but took away from the dish. Had it been on a chip of a fry dipped into it would have been better. Duly noted, next ask for it on the side, let the meat itself shine through. Lastly, the onion ring were truly disappointing. Arrived a very cool room temperature. They arrived few minutes after the tacos, and after reminding the server as we had ordered them. Almost felt as if they were ready on time by the kitchen staff, she was purely overwhelmed and simply, forgot. Small portion and my opinion not an option on my future visit again. Soggy and very greasy, perhaps would have been better if served hot and on time. Worth a visit, may go again. Maybe. Definitely go for the extensive list of brews, here is where they shine.

I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!
