Came here for lunch at it was worth it. Looks like a Mom and Pop joint that's been around the block. Good service, great portions and authentic food. Got the beef kebab plate and everything was delicious. Solid prices and you won't be hungry when you leave....

It was my first time trying this place with my husband. The food was really good and service was fast! They had both indoor and outdoor dining, it was kinda busy but everything only took about 10m to come out. Food was great, and since we sat outdoors the vibe was so nice and relaxing. We got both the regular chicken and spicy chicken kebab plates!

My work ordered this for us for lunch. I ordered the veggie plate. It came with grilled or sautéed zucchini and green bell pepper, grape leaves, 2 falafel, hummus and a fatoush salad. The hummus and grilled veggies were really good! I forgot to ask for no feta so I ate around it. The hummus had a nice flavor. The falafel was good, but not my fave. I'm just not a huge falafel fan as it is though. The salad was light and refreshing. I wish it had come with rice. That would have made it perfect. Overall I would eat it again. We ordered for delivery so I'm not sure what the restaurant is like indoors.

I use to come here quite frequently but because of a job change it's less than id like. As usual the place was hopping and the sound of people enjoying themselves filled the room, fresh food being cook and served on the spot. Sam was at the grill and I couldn't have been more pleased because I knew the quality of food served will be delicious. Upon walking in one of the servers recognized me and greeted with a huge, I found a table and sat down, ordered an ice tea and waited for my party to show up (I was early) as I waited I look through the menu and walked through memory lane so to speak. Today the chicken salad was the thing and after deciding I waited for my Elite friend. It wasn't long before she entered the restaurant and with smiles on our faces the luncheon began. I mentioned that everything on the menu was delicious and healthy as well, I ordered some peta with hummus and soon we ordered our dishes (see pictures). With pleasant conversation and the buzz of the business, our order arrived in a short time, the aroma filled our space and it was time to add a scrumptious meal to the already exquisite luncheon. What a wonderful experience it was.

We came here during lunch on a weekday and this place was packed. My friend got the garlic chicken bowl and I got the spinach feta wrap with chicken added. We also got a side of fries. The food is pretty good here and the menu is huge. My friend enjoyed her chicken bowl. The wrap was pretty good, but the only thing is the proportion was off with not too much rice and a little too much cheese in some parts and no cheese in others. There was also a lot of vegetables. I also was annoyed that the menu doesn't say what kind of vegetables, but when I got it, it tasted a lot like mushrooms. The fries were the best part of the meal. The fries were seasoned well and very crispy. Overall I can see why this place is so popular. The staff were attentive and hard working and there is plenty of seating at this establishment.

First time having chicken shawarma, and I think it was a good introduction to some Mediterranean/Lebanese food. The service was really good and they got the food out really fast. The whole place caught me off guard being in such a random spot amongst businesses, but it was really nice vibe either way, also didn't expect to drop $20+ though. I'd come again to try other stuff.

Amazing food! I got 3 diffferent meats and they had their own unique flavor. Everything was very fresh and at a great portion. Staff was super welcoming as well

Met up with a friend here and she had already ordered everything. Not sure what she got for me but everything was good, it had chicken, steak and shrimp. I love their garlic sauces, we did one regular and one spicy and both were delicious. The service was helpful and very friendly. This spot is kind of hidden so you'll have to know what you're looking for to find it. I never heard of it until my friend told me about it. There's a decent amount of seating space inside and outside. Will definitely be back to try some of their other items.

The service was quick, efficient and accurate. The food was delicious. Try the Greek salad with spicy chicken. It was packed at lunch but we still got a table. Even though it was busy, the noise wasn't too loud.

This has got to be "hands down," thee best Mediterranean food I've had in Fresno by far. I had almost forgotten about this place since it's so secluded and not really seen. I used to come here a long time ago for gyros. It was the first I ever tasted in Fresno too. Garlic sauce is so good and the best part is they have a spicy version!! I ended up going with the daily special which was the beef and chicken kebob plate. It comes with veggies, rice pilaf, salad and bread and garlic sauce which I asked for spicy version. The wait was a while but u kno it's cus they make it all fresh. The salad was nice and refreshing and had a good amount of zest to it. It was really good I finished it in the car lol. The pita chips was a nice touch to it. The amount of beef and chicken they give you is enough for two but I finished it all myself. The rice was nice and fluffy and really flavorful on its own! This place is tucked away in those business areas by the airport. You'll be lucky to find it. I'd come back again for the same plate! Or maybe try something else!

Lebanese Chicken, Rice and Salad Plate

Arrived at the airport around noon and was just looking for a quick lunch close by and this restaurant came up while I was searching for best restaurants. Oh boy! This place did not disappoint. It's tucked in what may looked like an industrial brick building but there's ample parking. When I got to the restaurant on a Monday, there was quite a bit of a line but mostly it was for take out. I got seated immediately and place my order. I got the Lebanese chicken with rice and salad and extra garlic. Everything was delicious. The chicken as cut in cube size pieces and it was well seasoned and moist. The salad was as fresh and it was a good portion sized plate. I also ordered a falafel (comes by piece) and it was so good. Right amount of spice and flavor. It reminded me of what I had in Damascus (very authentic) As I was having lunch, their take out counter was busy so it looks like a lot of locals love this place. Definitely a great Mediterranean place you should try if you happen to be in Fresno! They also have daily specials which I will try the next time I will be in town.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
