Late review we were here for Father's Day. Empty tables but they do have few to go orders. We order our food at the counter then we seat. Foods were delivered to our table not long after we order. Kebabs were tender and delicious, lambs were super delicious and we order something that we never try before it's rice wrapped in leaf and it's was served cool is taste a bit sour is unique and taste good. Taking time to give a review. My boyfriend and I order food from here often. We are regulars and we love it! The customer service is great! They are very welcoming, friendly, respectful. This is our go to spot for grilled meat, hummus, naan. The meat has great flavor, its juicy, cooked just right! The hummus is the best one we've had in fresno (and we've tried alot). We always order our food and pick it up, we haven't eaten it there in the restaurant but i dont see that being a problem if we did decide. We love eating grilled meat Golden Grill never disappoints! We will always come here for our grilled meat, we know its gonna come out just the way we like it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Since this is a very small place, that is more geared toward takeout, the ambience is not much. The service was fine as you walk up to order. The food is quite good, but not perfect. There are many very cool choices that you can't get many other places in town. That is awesome! But my wife ordered the shish kebab rare and it was anything but rare. The next time I go, I will make sure it is rare before I take it out. We also ordered the Lula kebab and a sausage sandwich that was very delicious. Finally got to try Golden Grill after driving by numerous times. It's more of a take-out place with only 2 tables in the lobby. You order at the counter. Hubby had the chicken shawarma plate with fries (or pilaf or bulgar) salad & hummus. I had the chicken tawouk (kebob) sandwich w/fries (inside the sandwich) garlic sauce, pickle & coleslaw. My friend had the sujuk shawarma w/ bulgar, humus & muhammara (red pepper, walnut & peanut dip). The plates were served with plenty of pita bread. We all enjoyed our food, the chicken shawarma was a little dry as it was breast meat, but flavorful. I would go back to try more dishes. read more

I've never been so excited to review a food spot since I've signed up here on yelp! It's deep tradition, it's genuine, it's authentic, it's something very special. Everything we had was perfect! From the hummus, lebneh, hummus, burger, rice, beef shawarma, to chicken and beef kabob. And a perfect flaky, sweet bite of those desserts I don't even know what they are but they're all just so freaking good! The service was decent, great customer service and we didn't have to wait that long. Place is clean, it's little and it feels like some kind of small family owned business which makes it even more authentic in my opinion. I'd never been here so I asked for a recommendation and they pointed me to the mixed grilled plate so I could try a little of everything. I didn't know what bulghur was so I skipped on it and opted for rice, but I was offered a small plate of it to try and it was super good!! I'll definitely get half and half next time. The dinner was yummy and the serving was huge. I tried, but barely finished more than half. The Kafta was probably my favorite meat - super tender and perfectly spiced. The service is fast, the staff are very friendly, they will offer their best sellers and the items that will give you the authentic taste of Lebanese cuisine. It was warm when I went there this afternoon, the AC is probably not working or Fresno is just too hot. But the restaurant is clean and they have good parking lot too. We both had the chicken shawarma plate with rice. Most Mediterranean places have rice pilaf that is just plain and boring. This was not. It resembled jasmine rice with a flare of Indian flavor.
