A small mediterranean place in the strip near Armstrong and Herndon. Nice and clean inside with plenty of seating. Order at the counter, and they bring it to you. They have their meats rotating on the spit. Today I tried their lamb plate. The plate comes with salad, rice, garlic sauce, hummus, and pita bread. I also got a side of falafel. The lamb was very tender. However, I am not a huge fan of the gamey taste of lamb, but my friend loves it. We split the plate, and she was in heaven. The falafel was good with the sauce. I would try one of their other meats if I go back again. The salad that comes with the plate is delicious. I love the flavor of the dressing. It has the sumac taste to it with tomatoes, cucumber and onion. The service was great. Even though it's not full service, we were checked on several times and we felt well taken care of. read more

Stopped by Ark and ordered the Chicken Luleh Plate. I originally had my eye on the Beef Luleh, but unfortunately they were already out by 5 PM. That said, the chicken did not disappoint. It was well-seasoned, juicy, and paired perfectly with the rice. I really enjoyed switching it up by adding either a bit of hummus or the white garlic sauce to the chicken. Premade so I couldn't forgo the olives and they put about a half a cup of chopped olives in there! Yikes. The dressing wasn't your standard Mediterranean dressing and that too was disappointing. The hummus and rice were good. The plates although I think a bit pricey can feed two people, it's a lot of food! Nice clean restaurant. The employees are always great here. I got the combo with beef and chicken. I love the thick chunks of meat, it keeps the meat juicy. The meat is seasoned well with delicious flavor. The rice pilaf is always on point, soft and hot. The famous salad is great with a vinaigrette type of flavor. The pita and hummus is also pretty good, the pita does get dry kind of quick. And you HAVE TO try the spicy sauce, it's an extra 75 cents but sooooo good. This is my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed a few of the tables were dirty and I had to wipe down the one I sat at. I ordered a chicken kabob plate. The rice pilaf was cold. I mentioned it to the girl behind the counter and she brought me out a side of rice pilaf. It was lukewarm. The chicken was cooked well and had ok flavor. The hummus was a little bland. The tomato and cucumber salad was ok. The pita was cold as if it was refrigerated. I prefer pita bread warm. I don't think I've ever had it served refrigerated. The half booth table is always my favorite spot, and it is very comfortable. The food is consistent. The flavors, portions, like clockwork, its so precise! We have had this location cater take out for multiple parties for us and have never been disappointed! I just wanted to rave about this place to everyone, because it makes us all so happy! I live in Clovis and I love how convenient this place is. The food is tremendous and I don't have to drive all the way across town. In-store is always clean and the staff are friendly. My only quibble would be the amount of food for the price is inconsistent. If you get the bowl, especially the kids bowl, the amount of chicken is solid. If you upgrade the price to get the plate instead though, the amount of chicken is almost the same. You get the other sides and stuff true, but it isn't as good of a value in my opinion. So I just don't get the plate anymore and I'm always happy. read more

Prices are a little steep at $18 a plate, but the food is really good and portions are a decent size. Wait time is around 10 minutes when it's not busy. There's also lots of seating to choose from. The location of the spot is in the shopping center but with tons of parking and once I got inside, there was a very welcoming woman who helped me place my order and offered a variety of suggestions.The overall ambiance was great. I decided to get two combos, which was chicken and beef, and then the other being beef and pork. We sat down for dinner. My mouth dropped. One thing that I saw which was somewhat humorous but also concerning was a guy with his gal about to take a bite. I could hear him saying this was his first time trying Mediterranean. The dude and I got to go from Ark Mediterranean on 7/18/22. The dude and I absolutely love Mediterranean food. We can eat it everyday if we could and we can if we wanted to. We heard so many great things about this place so we had high expectations. We were greeted upon entering and it was clean inside. I got the chicken schwarma plate and the dude got the beef schwarma plate. Chicken plate was 8/10 delicious!!! The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Right amount of flavor. We don't like garlic sauce of any kind so we always ask for hummus instead and the hummus was very good! Absolutely tasty. Since I don't eat beef the dude gave his plate 8/10. It was very good he said. Very flavorful and tasty. He killed his plate. We also got the pistachio baklava which was drier than a hot summer day without water. Complete pass! Disappointed. We went there yesterday to get gyros for lunch. They were OK, but I guess they actually called them wraps there. Which explains the thin tortilla like wrap that they made it with. I wish they would make it with an actual pita bread that is more soft and authentic. read more

I'm kind of shocked that after waiting ten minutes to place an order with no line and an empty restaurant ... I tried to order the shawarma plate subbing the rice with salad. The young lady told me that "we aren't allowed to do that". Huh? She went on to say that they aren't allowed to put meat on the salad ... but you serve salads with the option of adding protein? Hmm okay. I told her that there's another Yelper who encountered the same problem. But she insist so I walked out. I was literally going to pay more but wasn't allowed?!? Strange.
