We loved this place!! The whole concept of this cute place is great and the owner Ray was kind and informative. We ordered churro bites with dulce de leche and condensed milk which were delicious! The store also brews coffee, has grilled cheese and nachos, local made ice cream and dole whips. Ray was very accommodating and even told us about a local event happening in the park. Dont let the name fool you. While they have a huge assortment of Churro and ice cream creations to choose from, they also have lunch items. Stopped in to grab lunch to take home after noticing they have new items added to their menu, salads, sandwiches, nachos and more! Very friendly people working, roomy comfortable atmosphere as well as really good pricing for this area. I ordered carne asada nachos and fajita sandwich for less than $20. Was given a sample of the pineapple ice cream which was incredible! Will be back again! read more

Terrible. The owner treated me and my sister like outsiders that were not welcome. I was standing at the table and he told us "you guys can sit you don't have to stand, unless you like to stand" I told him I did and he scoffs and replies with "yeah you look like it." We were laughing about an inside joke and he asked us "what's so funny? You guys comedians, you wanna tell me what's so funny?!" And after that I just left. A waiter brought out my grandmothers food and would not leave until she said thank you. Very passive aggressive and toxic environment for an ice cream shop. Never coming back. read more

My experience was awful there. As soon as I walked in there was a man who greeted me and my grandmother with a look that made me feel unwelcome. He asked what we wanted and got a churro and a grilled cheese. We had already been waiting a good 20 minutes when we were laughing and he asked us what was so funny. He then took our free sticker and walked off to hopefully make our food. He then came out again and told us we didn't have to stand you can sit down I told him I like to stand and he said yeah you look like one. He then came out with the food 30 minutes later cold. I told my grandma to say thank you and he told my grandma "SAY THANK YOU" very rude. We both left and felt very unhappy with our experience. read more

We came in for a quick bite to eat, as we saw their sign for bbq chicken sandwich or Italian sandwich. We ordered both so we each could try a bit of each sandwich. One of the owners (husband) came up to us to connect and chat. He gave us a sample of the pineapple dole ice cream, and was very nice /personable. The sandwiches were yummy and filling. They gave us chips with our food, even when we didn't order them. There is a play section for young children to be, and they have card cakes on table for adults as well. They also sell sweets and other desserts as well. While we didn't order any this time, we will for sure be back to try their churros. Highly recommend both for the food and for the customer service. Their customer service is a wonderful quality (and a rare thing to come across now in this day and age). read more

I waited in line for this place to buy churros for my family during an event. The line in front was maybe about 10, maybe 15 people, but things were chaotic and moved very slowly. The people in front of me seemed to know one of the employees that was working, as she handed them their drinks in line, ahead of multiple customers who had already ordered and had been waiting at tables. When I came up to order, I had a small, simple order, and then was told "there are a lot of orders ahead of you, and it will be a really long wait for churros" with not even a hint of apology. Said employee then yelled the same thing to the line behind me, after allowing me to wait 10-15 minutes before informing me. So, this business seems to not be able to handle events that they choose to stay open for, gives preferential treatment to some customers at the expense of others, and seems to have zero protocol in place for when they make customers unhappy. So, unless you want to waste 10-15 minutes of your life only to be let down and then have to deal with upset kids for an hour, I'd probably avoid this place. read more

Hidden gem in Jacksonville. We had the Mexican Chicken Salad which was fantastic as well as the Barbecue Chicken grilled cheese was also fantastic. To finish off the great lunch, we had a classic churro with caramel as well as a Churro Sundae. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend! read more

Churro Rush is a great little place! Have visited many times. I love the regular churros! Plus you can choose from a couple different dipping sauces and specialty toppings! Just got the seasonal peppermint special and it was off the charts delicious. Love that it's a family oriented establishment also offering fun nachos and ice creams. Welp, we officially found our favorite dessert place in town! The owners were SO kind and truly wanted to make our experience one of a kind! Between the dole whip + the "beignet" churro it felt like a little bit of Disneyland magic! So so fun. Can't wait to come back and try more goodies! First word that comes to mind is WOW. My husband and I were across the street at a tattoo appointment and heard amazing things about Churro Rush. So on our lunch break I ran over to check it out! Everything on their menu looked INCREDIBLE. It was hard to narrow down my choices! We ultimately went with the Nachos Supreme with their slow roasted meat. These puppies were LOADED. Layers upon layers of cheesy goodness. Fresh salsa. Fresh guacamole. And that MEAT. Wow. We ordered a couple churros with dulce de leche to dip. Holy. Cow. So. Good. Fresh and made to order. As churro connoisseurs we will 11/10 be getting these again. I had never tried the Dole whip ice cream (from D-Land) before and without hesitation the owner gave me a hefty sample and needless to say- we also left with a cup of icecream! Delicious. Can't wait to have that on a hot summer day. We topped our order off with an authentic Mexican Coca-Cola. What made our experience truly amazing was the sweet owners. I witnessed them greet several other customers with nice smiles and even nicer hospitality. They seem like genuinely incredible people. I look forward to my next visit. read more

We were really excited to try this place. It's within walking distance from my home too! But we were disappointed. The churros were dry and gritty. For what we paid, they should have been better. The one churro I ordered took 10 min and I was the only person there. It tasted like grease. Safeway has frozen churros. Those taste better. No way does this make sense for the price and quality. Finally stopped in to try a churro as they are my son's favorite treat to get at Disneyland. The owners brought some Disney magic to Jacksonville. They were so kind and friendly. The Dole Whip sample was yummy and I found the classic churro tastier than the ones at Disneyland. Great little area for kids to play in and a welcoming atmosphere.
