    Chocolate filled churro
    Annabelle R.

Picked up a chocolate filled churro from this food truck at Carnaval SF this past weekend. Airy and crisp churro, warm chocolate filling... it was delish! The service was standard, no problems, barely any waits (even with a small line to order). And those churros are craveable, I want more right now! The perfect sweet treat on a Sunday afternoon :)

    Five flavors of Churros!
    Dexter D.

Conceptually, a great idea. A freshly deep-fried churro right out of the oil, either plain or stuffed with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or caramel filling. We found the van set up in a parking lot across the street from Walmart and In 'n Out Burgers. After parking, we walked up to the order window. The menu is small so that made it easy to decide what to order. We ordered one each of the five flavors. The pricing is $3 for plain and $4 each for filled. I asked that they be cut in half for easier handling. He asked us several times if we were willing to wait for six minutes for our order, which we agreed to. It was closer to 15 minutes before he called us over. While we didn't mind the wait, it would have been better if he were more accurate with the timing since there were no other customers while we were there. My experience with Churros were those that we enjoyed in Barcelona, Spain and a few local Bay Area restaurants. Light, crispy outside, fluffy inside with a thick dark chocolate dipping sauce. Not having had Mexican Churros, I was hoping for something somewhat similar. I enjoyed the Chocolate and Vanilla fillings. It was like having warm pudding inside. The Strawberry was okay as was the plain. I'm not a huge fan of Caramel so I won't give it a rating. For the price, compared to what a restaurant would charge for dessert, the Churros were a decent value. Strictly comparing to Spanish Churros, I'll take a pass on future tastings. Service was friendly.

Churros Mexican Plus is a food van that's usually near the lot @Hesperian & Lewelling where 7-11 was. across from Walmart. times may be daily in the afternoons. offerings: churro (plain), churro relleno: caramel, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, platono fritos (fried plantain), coffee, mexican hot chocolate, loaded potatos.... eats: caramel churro relleno (4) -churro tasted freshly made, very hot doughy innards, caramel tastes subtle, not a lot of it. exterior dusted with sugar. cinnamon too? -wasn't able to confirm whether fillings are artisan or commercially made. -tastes similar to churros eaten in Oaktown. 3.5 stars definitely pricey. worth it for children or people loving churros... takeouts: -doubt it travels well per the uniqueness of how it's made. unknown how it tastes when it cools since i never wait that long. -no seating. limited parking in lot.

This is one of those trucks that you just know has to be good because of how long it been posted in one spot. This truck is always at the corner of Hesperian and Lewelling in the parking lot of the paint shop (across from in n out). I've never seen a huge line, but the fact that it's always there makes me feel like it's getting a good amount of customers. I stopped by after work when I was having a huge churro craving. They offer a variety of flavors for $3-4 per churro. This time we tried the caramel and strawberry. The churros were fresh, crunchier on the outside than I usually like. The fillings were sweet. I liked the caramel a lot - warm, sweet without being too too sweet. The strawberry tasted sort of like the inside of a jelly donut. There wasn't a line when we went so we got our churros in ~5 min. They also offer hot chocolate and coffee which would be such a perfect pairing on really cold days.

We came for the Churro Relleno (churro filled with strawberry, vanilla, chocolate or caramel). They were a little pricey at $3 each, but they're big, have a lot of dough and are crispy and delicious. We tried all 4 flavors and my husband and I agreed chocolate was our favorite. Unfortunately Cajeta didn't have much flavor. Staff was friendly and they have a nice new truck. Although we were the only ones there, they must have just made a batch because they bagged them and we got them immediately. These also reheat perfectly if you want to eat them later (375 degrees for 7 minutes). We've driven by this place a few times but they're not always there, so make sure you stop when you see it because it might not be there at the same time again. It's located across from In-and-Out burger, in the parking lot next to Kelly-Moore Paints.

Churro Filling Options - Vanilla, Chocolate, Caramel, Strawberry, and Regular

Finally decided to try out this Churro food truck and glad I did. It's located across the street from Walmart and In-N-Out with quite a few parking spots. They accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. We ordered a regular churro with no filling, churros with caramel filling and churros with vanilla filling. The churros were made to order so they were fresh and crunchy. My only complaint and the reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I felt like my churro wasn't completely filled. There were bites that would just be the churro and others I could taste the caramel. The taste overall though was really good. The staff were really nice and provided great service and I will definitely return and recommend this place.

It's very difficult to find a good churro in my neck of the woods. I will always have to travel 20-30 minutes out of town to find great churros. But I'm happy to report that I have a new spot to fulfill my cravings! Shoutout to Yelp for the find -- There were no business hours listed so we took a shot in the dark to drive by (with low expectations because I would be very sad if it wasn't there). As we pulled up we saw a big ol sign that said CHURROS!!! and I started cheering as if we just made a touchdown lol. We were the only customers there and ordered all the flavors and I think it was about $3 each: Vanilla, chocolate, dulce de leche (caramel), strawberry, and cinnamon sugar. Out of the five, vanilla and caramel were my favorites, followed by strawberry. The churro was freshly made, so it was hot, crispy, and fluffy! And to waaaaash it all down, we ordered some Abuelita hot chocolate that was perfect for the cold evening. Some tips: - Expect a long wait since it's made fresh to order - The truck is decked out with a TV so I am pretty sure they take credit cards lol - It's right in front of a car tinting shop with a few parking spots - No seating so prepare to vacuum your car or eat outside - They also serve fried plantains which I'll try next time So if you're in the area and craving for churros, take that chance and visit this place!

So me and my family saw this place and we decided to go and they were delicious I really recommend it and the only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars is because I wish it was a little bigger for 5$ but I still love these

I love my churro how I love my men: long, brown, and creamy This is a phenomenal churro

I had just overwhelmed my senses with savory food when I realized I had no sweet to balance my diet. Thankfully, I know a guy who knows a churro place. We went to a churro truck and it's not like Sf where you get a sad sloppy churro for $6 No. This was a great churro with novel flavors I've never seen before: v vanilla, choco late, cajeta (my fav), and even strawberry. There is also plain. For $3 and amazing taste, you need not look further for something sweet

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.

While the burrito was definitely "super" in size, the proportions were way off. It was heavily packed with rice and beans--which were fine--but they clearly skimped on the carne asada. When you're paying for a premium burrito, you expect the meat to be the star of the show, not a background character. It felt more like a vegetarian burrito with a few guest appearances by the steak. If you're looking for a massive meal and don't mind the filler, this hits the spot, but for those of us looking for a balanced meat-to-rice ratio, this one missed the mark.
