I stopped by here when I saw it because I love the location in Dublin, but I was in San Leandro. I ordered a vegetarian burrito and it was really good except I wish I had remembered to say refried beans. I appreciate it that the chips and salsa was help yourself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was really big and bright and clean and the ambience was cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was definitely a variety of people not like Dublin where it's pretty safe feeling but it was totally cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I shouldn't say safe that might not be the right word, but it was more urban the San Leandro location compared to Dublin, but I liked it and the people that work there were really nice and the food was really good. What more could you ask for? Well maybe not to pay $17 for a vegetarian burrito.

2 taco pastor with rice and beans

Stopped in here to grab lunch before my meeting. Thank you Yelpers! You never disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a corner spot. Lots of room inside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Lots of options to choose from. I went with my comfort zone and got 2 pastor tacos with rice and beans. My son got the pastor burritos. You help yourself to chips and the salsa bar. Chips were fresh and the salsa options were great. I love chips and salsa and this did not disappoint. My tacos were delivered. They pack the meat in the tacos. Delicious flavor and rice and beans were good. My son devoured his burrito. Which can only mean that it was good. This place is so good that I have to go back with my Hubby who loves Mexican food.

Service and Staff: - Order your food at the register, take a number, and they'll bring your food out to you - Free chip "bar" and salsa bar next to the register Food and Drinks: - Horchata: 8/10 - not the best horchata I've ever had, but it was solid - Enchilada Plate: this was quite a hefty plate. Comes with three enchiladas (with your choice of meat, as well as green or red sauce), refried beans, rice, sour cream, avocado sauce, and some lettuce and tomatoes. Tasted good! - Burrito bowl: pretty big size as well. The go-to less messy version of a burrito. Filling and tasty. Miscellaneous: - Parking available via a shared parking lot with other businesses, as well as street parking - Good for small and bigger groups (each table can fit about 4-6 people comfortably - This place is popular, so it was loud in regards to a lot of people there - Two TVs (people were watching soccer when we were there)

Didn't pack lunch today, decided to show up here. Bit of a menu so look to the right if you can't find the tacos. Menu is a bit sizable. No music just Univision on the tv. Cool staff. I ordered one carnitas taco that was amazing! 2 asada that was good, the Al pastor was also recommended. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool taco place I didn't see the market portion of the place, but I'll leave that for whenever I return 5/5.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is delicious. Been here twice and enjoyed the food both times. Meat is seasoned well and good portions. Self serve chips and salsa bar available. Though they don't sell Birria, they have a large menu of other options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of seating and in a high traffic area and plaza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cashier that took our order was friendly. Nice bonus is that a few shops down in the same plaza is a Mexican ice cream shop if your stomach has the room for it.

Complimentary chips and salsa - 7/2025

This taqueria is a local favorite, located in downtown San Leandro on the corner of the Pelton Center Plaza. Open 7 days a week from 8:30am-9:30pm, parking is a bit tricky as the plaza is metered Monday through Saturday. Read the signs! Might be better to find street parking if you want to avoid paying for meters. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a fair amount of dine-in seating and you can usually find a line to order, but not out the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pricing for their plates are pricey (averaging $20.99/each) as well as their other menu items; however, the size of the meal is decent. Ordering is quick and customers can help themselves to complimentary tortilla chips next to the register and can select the type of salsa they want at the salsa bar. Chips and salsa are unlimited unlike other taquerias that give one bowl of chips and it's not even stacked. My go-to items are the tacos and enchilada plate, which comes with 3 enchiladas and your choice of meat (can select 3 different kinds for the same price), beans, rice, salad, and salsa. The tacos (averages $4-6/each) are street tacos and they drench it with sour cream and guac for my preference. I enjoy the al pastor and carne asada, the meat is flavorful. I plan to come back to try their burrito next time. If you're in the area for a quick bite, stop by and see if this place hits the spot!

Our 19th hole was here. Of the eight of us only hubby & I've never eaten here. Located in a strip mall where there's metered parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Entered the restaurant. The order counter is to your right. There's a huge menu board posted above[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Make your order selection, pay, handed a plastic tent card with your order #. Find a table and your order will brought over. Meanwhile help yourself to chips & dip. There's four varieties of dip to choose from. Before long your order is walked over. Ordered - * hubby the carne asada taco salad - generous portion size. He enjoyed it. * I got two lengua soft tacos - served wet with chopped onions. I think one would have been fine but being my first visit.... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of tables seating four each.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hubby & I both said we'd come back.

Came across this place randomly because I was craving tacos while visiting family in the area. Wasn't expecting the meat options to be mucho sabroso, but oh man was I caught off guard. I ordered all tacos and must say the asada, buche, and cabeza was all shmacking. Definitely a must try!!. Dude at the counter was super helpful and gave all his recommendations. Was not disappointed at all. If you're in San Leandro and you want some tacos, this might be the go-to spot, unless I am told otherwise.

We frequently stop at Taqueria Los Pericos for our 19th hole lunch. Always good food and great service. Recently they changed the bowl to help yourself to chips to a tiny size maybe to avoid customers of getting lots of chips? No worries we will just have to make more trips to fill up ! Still enjoyed our super soft taco.

We had dinner and I had the super burrito with carne asada and buche. It was Bomb! The server was wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back for more.

Crispy carne asada taco plate w/rice & beans, no sour cream

One of our favorite dining establishments. Stopped by today after a brief pause, i was a lil' while. Hubby had a carne asada crispy taco, carne asada enchilada, rice & beans, no creama (sour cream). I had my usual: carne asada crispy taco, rice & beans, no creama (sour cream). Had a few condiments; mild salsa, avocado sauce and a few chips. Oooh la la, the lunchie was as great as we recalled. Service was on point, after you order @ the counter, you're given a lucky # to display @ your table. Once your entrees, a server will bring your food to your table. Drinks: horchata and water please. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is cozy, lotsa Hispanic cultural items within the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice self-service salsa bar with a very wide variety of sauces, limes, and additional enhancement additives for your plate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Crispy Taco

This is just all personal preference, so take this review with that in mind. I ordered a few crispy tacos, 2 lenguas, 1 carne, and 1 al pastor. There is A LOT of lettuce and and sour cream. This could be a good thing for others, but for me it was a little too overwhelming. Especially the sour cream, I think that just drowns the flavors too much. The meat portion was great. The meats really fill the tacos, I think that's why the lettuce, cheese, and sour cream is outside the taco, because the inside is filled with meat. That I really liked about Los Pericos. The carne was pretty bland in my opinion. Al pastor had flavors but you would expect it to be flavorful. I was pretty sad about the lengua, that just tasted like water. Flavors weren't really there for me, but I do respect that they fill the tacos to the max.

    Tostada de Ceviche
    Alexandra L.

My brother introduced me this place when I was recently in town visiting. We came for a late lunch after an Oakland A's game (the last one at the Coliseum). And it's clear that this is a local gem. I had the ceviche tostada and the carnitas loaded nachos. Well, I probably should have stopped at the tostada which is a huge portion and could be shared for 2. It was fresh, really good. I liked the carnitas nachos, but I think I was already so full from the ceviche that I couldn't full appreciate the nachos. The unlimited Horchata was also awesome!! Will come back when I'm back in town!

Was looking for a taco spot after an event in San Jose. I could've stayed in San Jose but the rain…read morewas super heavy and I wanted to go somewhere closer to home. Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

‼Absolutely horrible tasting food that is ridiculously over priced oh my god. NOT WORTH MY $44 !…read more I got these food items: Asada tacos- 1/2 of the taco meat was just big oily chunks of fat, I spat it out immediately. Rest of it was tolerable to chew. Tortilla was dry and oily. Al Pastor tacos- bland meat with a lingering dry pepper aftertaste that makes the meat taste old. Took one bite and was immediately repulsed. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.
