The owner was very friendly and provided great service. She brought us tortillas, water, and chips and salsa right away. When our food came out, it looked delicious. The tacos were $2 each and came with onions and cilantro. They were small, but traditional Mexican taco size. The carnitas was tender and the flavor was excellent. The steak tacos came with small, diced up pieces of beef, which were a little bit crispy. They had a nice flavor, but was a little tough in texture. I would definitely get the carnitas tacos again. The ceviche tostadas were really good! It came with imitation crab and shrimp on a corn tortilla. It was really tasty! They were $4.50 each. I tried the chile relleno and it was pretty good as well. I loved the flavor of the cheese and chile together. The spanish rice and refried beans were good, but I only had a small bite as everyone else ate it all. The chile relleno rice and beans was $13. In the end, we were very satisfied with our meal. The food was very tasty and authentic. The owner was very friendly and talkative. We were the only people at the restaurant at the time, but another couple came when we were leaving. I would definitely recommend stopping in here if you are in the mood for a great Mexican meal. La Posada is open Wednesday through Sunday 9AM-8PM. They have a great selection of Mexican favorites, seafood, soups, and breakfast burritos. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious!
