Had the carnitas taco and al pastor taco. The carnitas, although not the most flavorful carnitas that I've had, was super duper tender. As for the al pastor, I'm aware that some al pastor marinades use pineapple, and the pineapple really shines in the al pastor here. Was pleasantly surprised. The mild sweetness might not be for everyone, but it's definitely worth a try if you're curious. Aside from the sweetness, the al pastor was moist as well and the seasoned charred goodness was there. Overall very good tacos. No skimping on the protein in the tacos here that's for sure. The grilled jalapeño that came with the tacos was like the cherry on top. I found it driving home to Sacramento from Stockton one day, now I drive down there at least once every couple weeks. This is a taco truck parked in the lot of a gas station right next to the entrance to 99 southbound in Acampo. We've been coming here for several years and I have to say that it's probably the absolute best taco truck around (and there are a ton of them). I usually get the Carnitas tacos, which are moist and seasoned just right, with lots of cilantro and green sauce. My husband and daughter get the carne asada, also very good. The side of beans we get is very flavorful and although I don't usually eat Mexican rice because to me it has a tendency to be dry, here it's very moist and flavorful. Inside the burrito is your choice of meat, potatoes, sour cream, scrambled eggs and cheese. Burritos come with a red and green sauce on the side. I was hoping that cilantro and onion would be inside as well but it is not. To me the burrito was subpar and lacking essential flavors. In a small trailer at a chevron station in Acampo there are big flavors that come out of that trailer. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there I wish I could go there for a midnight snack. Nothing is small there they definitely feed you everything we have tried the breakfast burritos, tortas, tacos and quesadillas and we will keep going back till we tried everything.
