These guys are great when it comes to interiors. I am from the Northern California area and had my front and back seats reupholstered at this location. Chuy's reupholstered my front recaro seats with alcantara & leather. They also added red stitching as well. I also had them redo my back seats to match the fronts. Might as well right? I shopped around for many quotes from $1,200, $1,500 to even $4,000. I finally ended up at chuys auto interior I was quoted $800, so I decided to do business with them. After I picked up my seats and everything was all said and done I paid $814 and I was really impressed with their work. They use the same leather materials that the other shops were quoting me on. They told me they were just trying to rip me off. They buy there leather thru Katzkin so I know they are the real deal. If you have Honda S2000 seats I definitely recommend this place. I brought my 1999 Corvette to these guys when I worked in Carson. They completely re upholstered my interior. I chose BMW perforated inserts and Mercedes smooth for the rest of the seats. I had them use all leather. They did the armrest and door inserts as well as embroidered the Corvette logos into the seat backs. These guys do great work. I highly recommend them. read more

this place is AWFUL. they are unprofessional and rude. I dropped my car off to get a repair at the beginning of the day and the owner (so she says) told me that it would be ready in 4 hours (12pm) I told her that I would be able to pick the car up after 2pm. She said no problem and told me she would call me when it was done. By 2:15 I hadn't heard anything, so I called her. She then stated that she had been trying to call and text me all morning to "see what color I wanted" which I had already told her OEM STOCK before I left the car there for the day. When I asked to read back the number she read my number off of the called ID, but one number off. She had never called or texted me. Then she told me that the car was taken apart already, and it would be ready at 5pm (their shop closes at 8pm). Not ideal, but I can work with that. She then waits 20 minutes to call me back and tell me that the car won't be done by 5pm so they've put it back together and I can come pick it up when I'm ready. NOT FIXED, torn apart & put back together, but not fixed. When I arrive, the "owner" or pathetic excuse of one then reads me back ALL of my information back wrong & tells the details wrong again of what she had previously stated. proceeds to tell me that they "never touched the car nor did they remove anything from it" and that if they had they would be legally responsible to fix it...this is right AFTER she told me that they "PUT MY CAR BACK TOGETHER AND I CAN COME PICK IT UP" because they couldn't meet their self set deadline. once the "owner" was caught up in enough of her own lies she just decided that she "cannot work on the car and will not fix it". TERRIBLE customer service. so rude, giant F overall in all categories. read more

warning : when u get a quote make sure they give it to you in writing !!!!! came here based on a recomendation..... got a great quote from chuy i believe the owner to fix a dashboard with vynil... he quoted me 80. 00 dollars if i bring the dashboard quoted me 200.00 if he had to remove it and assemble it....... it took the dashboard myself.... took 1 week to get it back..... when i picked it up he says it's 180.00 and i told him he quote me 80........ and 200....... then he says if he had done the full work it would of been 400.00 ?????? and that he's quoted me 180.00 i felt so robbed ....... bad bad taste in my mouth..... so prices in 1 week change to double wtf..... if he misquoted he should of told me i know is business he's here to make money but to change double with out notice very very bad.......... i have to say the quality of his work is good ..... just the tactic of not quoting correctly is awfull......... read more

Took my car in to get the upholstery on the doors re-glued. Since there was years of debris from gluing them myself, they suggested I replace the material. Ask for a A class job and payed for it but maybe a C- did a bad job on almost everything. Seat way over padded my head almost hits the roof and I am not tall. They lost lots of screws and install the wrong ones. The carpet was terrible not even attached in places and wrinkled in others. I took my car in to get a quote to have a cushion made for my front seat, Chuy quoted me $100. , when I returned to have the work done he said it would cost $150. I was not satisfied with the cushion he made, the zipper broke right away and the cushion was not constructed the way we had discussed. read more
