The driver's seat had a panel, the length of the seal that had cracks. I was met by Luis, who works with Alberto. I was given a cost estimate and approximate time for the job. Arrangement were made with Alberto on the day/time to drop off the car. Today was the day for the planned work. I arrived at 8AM. I spoke with both Luis and Alberto. There was a little bit of a debate on the finish time, but Alberto assured me they could have my car ready by 2PM. Alberto called at 1:30PM and said the car was ready. They take credit cards with a service charge. They accept cash, check and Zelle without a service charge. He said they were open until 5PM. I called a friend for a ride down to the shop. Whoops - Alberto forgot to tell me they are closed daily from 1-2PM for lunch. I was dropped off at 1:45PM so I didn't wait long. I called Alberto and he apologized for not telling me over the phone. He originally estimated the are seat at $375 with a yellow, not beige fabric. I refused and he found a matching color that needed to be ordered, so the estimate changed to $475. He estimated the couch pillow to be $250, total $705. My second estimate at Mandos was a total of $220 ($160 =+ $60) and he didn't try to sell me a non-matching piece of fabric. Always get a second or third estimate.
