    Pineapple Dole Whip

A visit to Chagrin Falls is incomplete without a stop here. Cibiks Dairy Island is the best ice cream in town. It has been serving cones for years. Busy all the time it seems. They have a good variety. Frozen custard is the specialty rather than regular ice cream. It also has some non dairy flavors. They have rotating flavors of Dole Whip. It's about $5 for a medium cup. The prices have gone up. It's typical of many other ice cream places so it's not just them to blame. The good thing is you get a big portion. It also has a miniature golf course. It's nice to whack some balls and then get ice cream. Truly a good family time.

First time and we loved it! Came upon a recommendation of a friend. It is such a cute shop. They had a handful of homemade ice cream as well as soft serve as well. The I love Lucy was delicious.

Great variety and delicious ice cream! This stand is a great place to stop if you're in the area. They have chocolate and vanilla soft serve custard as well as dole whip and a great selection of unique hard scoop ice creams. There was a wait when I went this chilly evening but that just goes to show how good it is! It's a bit pricey in my opinion but my scoop was worth it. Highly recommend the O'Henry flavor (chocolate ice cream with chocolate chunks, brownie pieces, and Spanish peanuts). Can't wait to go back and try more!

This is a Jem of an ice cream place. Used to go here all the time as a kid, and it was a very generic but fun ice cream stop with Hershey ice cream scoops and fun car food boxes to eat your fried chicken fingers from! But NOW...OMG the GLOW UP! SO SO SO good! A must stop if you are a local or passing through. You can basically add all sorts of toppings to either chocolate, vanilla or a swirl of both custard. The custard was delicious! They have tons of toppings and a weekly ice cream menu! You can also add their custard to waffles! !! The waffle sandwich was delicious and a must try. They had great signs up and they were behind plastic screens to keep employees safe. Lots of outdoor seating so even the dogs could join!

I love dairy island, and judging by the summer crowds, many others do as well. It isn't summer in the chagrin valley until Dairy Island opens. They have fast and friendly service, and the soft serve is my favorite. It's also a great place for burgers and fries. One of the best experiences you can have is getting your ice cream from the window and sitting outside and enjoying it.

I have family who live in Bainbridge, and every time we come to visit them, Dairy Island is a must stop! I love the custard with the crunchy topping; I've yet to find anything like it at any other ice cream shop I've visited around the country. I have also tried a few of their sundaes, and my favorite is the Death by Reese's Cup, which is exactly what it sounds like. It's glorious. I haven't had any of the actual food, but it always smells so yummy! When it comes to simple and delicious ice cream, Dairy Island is the place to go!

First time visit was a great experience for a sunny day drop-in with my daughter. Lots of signs about custom ice cream, but finally found one with all the options. Made it super easy cuz the staff was friendly & helpful, but not overly so. Custard, ice cream, grilled to order burgers. The cheeseburger came with fresh tomato and lettuce. It was much better than I expected.

We loveeeee dairy island! I have been coming here for over 15 years and it just keeps getting better. Their fried ice cream with honey on top is my absolute favorite. The ice cream cone portions are good. We love the putt putt in the back! It's easy enough for my 4 year old daughter and it's cute! Great place to hang out in the summer!

Ice cream was good but they put the cherries on top of my ice cream sundae which immediately made them fall off and stain my white shirt.

Beautiful large, lighted, vine covered pergola to sit under. So nice to have a local owned ice cream shop in our community.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Booked a reservation and had no issues…read more Shared the apple pie margarita, which was dangerously good. Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

I called Sunday at 12:40p to make reservations for 2 to enjoy brunch. I was told by the male that…read moreanswered the phone that reservations would not be needed. I told him I would arrive within 40 mins and he said to just walk-in. The website says this is fine dining so for someone to answer the phone and discourage reservations was skeptical. When we arrived we were told since we didn't have reservations we had to sit outdoors. Now the forecast said rain in 10mins. So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.
