You get what you pay for. Came here on a Saturday with my family to eat and an adult buffet was 9.99 plus the soda. The restaurant was super full but the staff was quick to refill the pizza's and clean the dirty tables. Overall, the restaurant was pretty clean, the variety of pizza was okay, the taste was not the best. The real turnoff was the manholes directly outside of the restaurant which contained black waters backing up.... it smelled and looked horrible, and the rain was not helping either. Really takes away your appetite. I get if its not the restaurant's fault or job but seeing that there was actual feces outside of their doorstep, you might want to call someone to fix that! read more

Had a lovely lunch date with my granddaughter at Cici's today, and everything was just right. The all you can eat buffet had plenty of fresh pizza options, and they were happy to make one to our liking when we asked. She loved the mac & cheese pizza, of course, and I have to admit, I did too! I always start off with a crisp fresh salad from their unlimited salad bar. This location is always clean, the staff was friendly, and it never felt rushed or chaotic, even with other families dining in. The dessert pizza was a sweet bonus to wrap up our little outing. I was shopping in the area and decided to stop in here for a quick lunch, I haven't been to a Cici's Pizza in like 10 years. I chose the $6.99 buffet which includes a buffet of salad, pizza, dessert and pasta. Not a bad deal at all. I was pleased with the lady in the front who is the cashier because she and an older gentleman who cleans the tables, wore their face masks the entire time I was in the restaurant. The gentleman also sanitized tables after people were done. I was also pleased that there was sanitizer available in 2 places, the tables were socially distanced and the entire buffet section was wrapped so that nobody other than the employees could serve you the food. It seemed like they were taking Covid precautions very seriously which I can appreciate since I am pregnant. As for the food, I feel like for $6.99 you can't really be picky, they offer a lot of options and there's something in there for everyone which is nice, quality is subpar but for the price you can't expect much. The reason why I am giving 2 stars is because 2 employees, the one who serves the food at the buffet line and the lady in the back who handles the food and oven, both had masks around their ears but did not wear them properly over their mouth or nose, defeating the entire purpose of taking precautions in the restaurant because the two of them are the ones handling the actual food. Very concerning. It made me not want to eat there or trust the food. So needless to say I will not be back to this location. Very disappointing that people are not taking this pandemic seriously especially when people are still trying to support businesses while eating out. The only sketchy thing that happened yesterday was that I had to manually type in my full credit card #, exp date and code onto their tablet screen with the cashier. This place deserves a 3 stars for today's service. Since it is a Wednesday, there are not a lot of customers here. So some of the pizza look really old. Also, they don't allow you to put pizza order anymore. But the lady is nice enough to make half of the pizza that we want. Another point, most of the employees don't wear masks or not wear it properly. But I will still give 4 stars just because they are still open. After visiting Harbor Tools I decided to visit Cici's Pizza located in the same shopping plaza. The price for the buffet without soda is around $7 and with soda is around $10. They have a small salad bar, pasta section with marinara or alfredo sauce, and a wide variety of pizzas with finally a brownie and cinnamon roll at the end of the buffet line. Their cheese bread is very good when they come out fresh from the oven, and their pizzas aren't that bad compared to other commercial pizza chains. However, I do think the staff does need to do a better job at ensuring that the pizzas on the buffet line are always fresh and not sitting stale in the lights for too long. read more

Sure, it's not the best pizza I've ever had. At the same time - I've almost never had bad pizza. The pizza here was OK, with a ton of different options, which is exactly what I was looking for on this hang over Saturday. The only thing that really keeps me from coming to a place like this more often is the location and atmosphere. It's in the middle of a really busy part of Hialeah (awful) and is full of obnoxious families and children. The buffet includes salad, pasta with different sauces, many different flavor pizzas including mac n cheese pizza which is great. They also have a dessert section with like 4 different desserts. They are understaffed and the place remains busy, lost of customers and little staff members allowing there to be short on food, and place was dirty. There was only one lady picking up the entire place but no one actually cleaning the tables, floors etc. It's actually sad because it's a nice family place and my kids love it but we waited for the food to come out and because there was so many people waiting it was never enough. This is a pizza and pasta buffet. So you do get what you pay for. Kind of. Considering the fact that it is roughly 7-8 dollars for the buffet and a drink, you get a lot of food. But it is not the freshest and there are not many choices, either. I wasn't too fond of any of it, and some of the pizzas had been left there for quite a while as it was very evident that they were getting old. The ones that were "fresh" however, were not terrible. The Bavarian Cream dessert pie was really the only thing I liked. The brownies were mostly uncooked and the spinach pizza was old and hard and tasted funny. Ice for the soft drink machines seem to be unavailable even though every 20-25 complaints will yield an employee that sort of checks out the machine and leaves after his mind control method of filling ice fails.
