Jerry & Joes has always had a special place in my heart growing up. I remember the delicious Italian dinner meals that came with a salad, garlic rolls, pastas of your choice and a slice of cheesecake. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. My boyfriend and I decided to order some pizza for takeout, opting to support a local business over franchise, and it was not good. It was stuffed with toppings (honestly too much) and was somehow soggy towards the middle of the pizza. Family special and a slice of cake came out to $35 dollars. When asked why so expensive (used to be $18), he quoted the slice of cake price 4.99 and a delivery fee... that means they increased the price of family to $25 without changing the online prices. Dude on the phone was super slick about it. Said "thank you" in the same tone someone would tell you "f*** u". For the price I paid, I would have been much better off going to Dipiazza. read more

Man does this place take me back to my high school years. Growing up in Hialeah and attending high school their was a J&J location next to the school. So ideally me and my friends would go for lunch since they had a slice & soda combo for only $1.50. So naturally when I was getting my oil change, I decided to pass by their 68th street location for lunch. I was pleased to find out that they still had their slice & soda combo available. I added an order of garlic rolls as well. The owner Enrique was very welcoming and we had a great conversation about the history of J&J, Family, and the city of Hialeah. I personally have love Jerry & Joe's Pizza for many years. They have been here for quite some time and a staple to the Miami Lakes community. I recently moved back into town and decided to order a pizza on my moving day and everyone was pleasantly surprised and there was not one slice left from the XL cheese pizza we ordered. I ordered another delivery last week and got The Bianca pizza it was okay still very satisfying but next time I rather opt out and get a classic cheese or pepperoni. I also ordered an XL cheese with 12 garlic rolls and a soda. It was a special and the total came out to 39 something. Pretty good deal. Last visit I actually came into the restaurant. Here is the trick, they have two different locations in the same plaza. So if you order pizza or food for takeout you have to go towards the back end of the plaza and two doors down from the main restaurant and get your order there. If however you are eating inside then the main entrance on the left side of the plaza will do. Service: The server was very sweet and immediately she came over to give us menu and handed up plastic silverware which I liked (due to COVID) Then she quickly took our order and surprised us with complimentary garlic rolls. The rolls are a little on the crispy side around the edges and a lot of garlic but that's just the way I love them. We ordered a medium cheese pizza which was excellent as always. And my husband ordered the linguini Alfredo pasta. If you're a person who eats a lot of Alfredo sauce you can tell there is not much to call this an Alfredo sauce , it's not bad , however it has a very vegetable or seasoned taste and the sauce is more yellow than white. However it was okay and we finished it all. Would definitely recommend coming in and helping this local place out. read more

Ordered a delivery of a large pie... and a calzone When pizza arrived it was far from large and cut into 12 slices as though it was a kids pizza party!!! Please see pictures!! We couldn't help but laugh at this "large pizza" taste similar to a good frozen pizza!!! the calzone was average at best ..Delivery guy was great and very nice! I tecommend this place for a kids party but be ready to spend they are pricey for no reason!! read more

First time customer with an Italian family in New York. Not sure if that makes my review better than any one else's, but we do have a taste for pizza. I also am writing on behalf of 18 of my employees and will use their comments. "WOW this pizza is awesome". "Thanks for the Pizza, it was great". "I love a fresh salad, like this". "Amazing". Now this one comes from my garbage disposal named A Cruz ironically, holding 4 slices on one plate and a full plate of salad. "Can I go back for seconds, this is good stuff...". If you were to ask my staff they would tell you I always order way to much food. In this case I relied on the Jerry and Joes staff to help me out. The recommendations they made were right on. Definitely my favorite of the two locations in Hialeah but if I'm gonna be honest they are both AMAZING. The staff there is very, very, very friendly! I was attended by the owners granddaughter and I loved her. Now to the food part of the review, best pizza EVER. Great food and service for the price.. I actually ordered online and was surprised to receive two great deals on my food. I even called to make sure and the person who answered was very nice and even offered menu suggestions as well as explained menu items. The delivery took some time to get to my home which is not far but my order was large so for the most part the service was great. Ordered Family Deal with dozen wings, dozen rolls, and pasta online. Got my order confirmation at 7:08PM. Food reached my doorstep at 9:00PM. Everything was cold not even luke warm, garlic rolls can be thrown at a 200lb man and knock him out, wings were ok, pasta was meh, pizza box was crushed from above as if the delivery guy was nesting it for me. If you're looking for bang for your buck this the place to come to. $2.50 for a slice and a beverage. The slices are average - do not expect a jumbo slice. When it finally got there over 1.5 hrs later it was cold and doughy, the salad was wilted, and there was no Ranch dressing at all...just dry salad. How hard can it be people.
