I visited this restaurant late last year because I enjoy eating as much pizza, salad, and cinnamon rolls. It's also very affordable I spent about $8. I was greeted as I walked in and paid for my dine in order right away. The workers wore there mask as I was served and kept the tables and floor clean as customers was leaving. They do offer dine in and to go orders. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the tables were almost 5 ft apart not quite 6ft. Overall my experience was a 4/5 I will be returning again... read more

This second visit to this establishment and this visit was the worst. I arrived about 1:00 p.m. so I place my order two buffets and wings. I went find someplace to sit but every table was dirty. So wipe my own table so I could sit down to eat. I grabbed a plate to find out the buffet was empty. Looks to me they were under staff and the manager didn't seem to care. Only one of the employees was friendly and that was the guy who put the pizza on the bar. As I sit and wait on my wings which took some time I noticed the employees that was preparing the food had no gloves and didn't wash their hands. I will not return to that again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went yesterday and the service was horrible. The workers initially were all standing around ON THEIR PHONES while people were trying to order. The buffet was filled with old pizzas so of course we were asking for fresh ones. That took forever because they continued to take their time. There was only one lady that was trying to help everyone but she couldn't do that alone. We were asking for pizzas and they kept bringing out pans of cinnamon rolls. So lots of desserts but still no pizza. At one point all of the workers except the one helpful one were outside having a smoke break. We're here hungry and already paid but y'all decide to go out back and smoke? Foolishness! Also while we were waiting for our pizzas they were in the back making plates for themselves. Without Julius being here, I don't think I would have even given a two star. He's amazing and he has the best personality! I went here for lunch and I don't think I will go back. Let me first say that they were very busy but there was not much on the buffet. The lettuce for salad was maybe a cup left, brown and floating in water; there was zero pasta but a few sauces and there was 1 lone pizza to choose from. I went here with my mother, and the pizza was STEAMING hot! It was amazing! The cheese pizza, the one with the jalapeños, and the Buffalo was amazing, the only one I didn't quite enjoy was the Pepperoni because it had a mountain of grease all over it, and I had a hard time eating it. Other than that the pizza was good. When I went to get the desert pizza though, one of the plates still had a little bit of something left on it, but other than that the pizza was so dang amazing!!! Don't take the thin pizza as a joke, it is LOADED with toppings and flavor! Also, don't forget to leave room for the desert pizzas, they taste amazing, for a pizza turned into a desert, but they were a little too sweet for my taste and had a slight spongey consistency, but considering you tried to turn it into a desert, I'll let it slide. Employees did not wear gloves at all even when touching the raw pizza dough and toppings. They didn't wash their hands either. Saw them wiping their hands on their pants and then touching the pizza bare handed. The young man was on his phone typing then touched the food as well. Last weekend was the best time I've ever had at a Cici's restaurant. The staff was enthusiastic and very attentive, the pizza was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was overall fantastic. Absolute waste of time! I can't speak to the quality of the food because we never got any. When we arrived we found one dried out slice of meat pizza, half a buffalo chicken pizza and something we couldn't identify that was masquerading as a pizza. The staff was standing around laughing and joking and we stood there for several minutes before we realized that they had no immediate plans of cooking anything. I did see where the desserts were supposed to be and there was a single brownie that looked like it might have been in the floor but had been picked up and was now laying next to the pan it was supposed to be on and a few cinnamon rolls. The ones that were right-side-up had no icing on them but maybe the ones that were upside down had some. Once I was able to identify the few words of English that the manager knew, I managed to get a refund. My daughter had her heart set in Cici's so we drove on out to the Trussville location and had a pretty good lunch. I know they have only been open a few weeks but if what we saw yesterday is any sign of what is to come, they won't last a year. We will not be back! read more

My first time at this location and I'm disappointed at how slow the pizzas were replaced. My kids and I waited 15-20 minutes for pizza with a full restaurant. People were running over each other when a single pizza was brought out because the wait was so long. Is this A tactic to save money? We waited so long we were full after only 2 slices.
