We were trying to decide what we wanted to eat, and I was able to make a reservation for nine at North Italia, which was surprising to me, but I guess the time that we went which was about 4 o'clock it was not that busy. I actually have the same server I had when I was in there December for a Christmas brunch. Nichole L. Was our server and she was very attentive and did give us some good suggestions on dishes. However, because there were nine of us, she had mentioned that they don't usually split up the bill however, she spoke to her manager was able to do so. I don't understand why this restaurant has this policy. It makes it difficult to go out in a group. There was an 18% gratuity added to our bill, but it was up to you if you wanted to add to it or get rid of it, I added to the tip. I got the chicken Parmesan, which I had had in the past. It was delicious as always, and I split it into two different meals. I will definitely be back here sooner than later

The restaurant had a wonderfully clean and modern interior, filled with a great mix of diners--from families to couples. I ordered the Margherita pizza along with the shrimp Scampi in the photo. The Margherita pizza had a perfectly chewy crust and a wonderful, healthy taste. The shrimp Scampi was also fantastic, with the garlic and olive oil pairing together beautifully. On top of the great food, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a place I want to return to. If you ever find yourself visiting Alabama, I highly recommend stopping by!

We made a reservation for 8:15 and arrived a little early but they have a table ready for us. The restaurant is decorated nicely with a very nice bar right when you walk into the entrance. Our waiter recommended several items off the menu. We decided to start with the meatballs and the grillled watermelon as appetizers. The meatballs were great, I like the sauce and the burrata on top. The grilled watermelon was a unique blend of flavors but they melded very well together. It was yellow watermelon that had been grilled with arugula, feta and hot honey. For the main course we got the chicken alla vodka and the chicken pamigana. Both dishes were fantastic with homemade pasta, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce for both dishes was flavorful. For dessert we went with the chocolate torte. I enjoyed the dessert but the other folks at the table were not fans of the basil lemon gelato. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and we will be back.

We started off with the sample which had calamari, cheesesticks, and tomato Caprese on bread. Calamari was actually pretty good. Of course, the bread oil and the bread are always delicious as well. I cannot recall our server's name, but she was very good. At first she told us the lasagna had sold out for the night and then after we ordered, she said they still had it so we did both decided to get it since neither of us had had it before. I started off with the Italian salad with Italian dressing and added Gorgonzola, which was extra. The Lasagna could've had a little bit more seasoning and less cheese and I love cheese. It came out piping hot. We were so full we didn't have any room for dessert. I did make it to the restrooms, which were very clean. Parking can be a little complicated as if it it's busy. It's hard to find a spot or you can park across in a different parking lot. I usually get the chicken Brian, but I think next time I go I'll get to try the chicken Parmesan

However, my fettuccine with the grilled chicken was lukewarm basically cold. Usually we go on a Sunday and the food is piping hot with flavor just perfect on Sundays. I have never had a bad experience here. I think we are all seeing this big trend happening with the food service and restaurants just not living up to our standards. The only time I feel like I am not duped out of spending good money for food is when we are cruising. It's like you get the best of both worlds on a cruise. At least with Royal Caribbean you do. You may ask me, why didn't you take a picture of the food? Because I was just disappointed because we went in the evening time and not during lunchtime on Sundays. Maybe that was it. You know what I think I'm gonna go back by there to try it one more time on our Sunday outing. I'll let you know how it goes. And you can take that to the bank!
