    Enchiladas Verdes Platter

I ordered enchiladas verdes over the phone for pick up. Service was courteous, and quick. The food was ready within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the enchiladas were dry. The tortilla was too flaky and the chicken was really dry. The tortilla really soaked in the sauce but maybe that was my fault since I ate it about 45 min after I ordered it. The sauce was delicious and I loved the beans that came with it. The portion was big and I had left overs for lunch.

BEST TACOS IN NY AREA I live in NYC and was willing to drive an hr and a half just to get the tacos, the agua frescas, churros and flan! It's THAT good. Tacos from best to worst: lengua, brisket, al pastor, chicken We got flour tortillas and they come with a side of sour cream. Our friends ordered guac and when you mix them it's amazing. The tacos come in blue corn tortilla and they're so soft, not too filling but thick enough that the food inside is not falling out. The flan is SO DECADENT AND RICH AND HEAVY IN THE BEST WAY. The Churros are made fresh so theyre soft and sugary and light and perfect. Also the service is on point for what seems like a family run restaurant. I literally can not rave about this place enough!! Go check it out!! 4 tacos $10 (unless you mix up the types of tacos $11) Agua frescas $3 Flan and churros $5

Stopped here on a lazy Saturday evening still looking for really good Mexican food. Everything we had was excellent. Tacos, guac, horchata and pambazo which I had never had before. I wish the restaurant was closer to home. Service was good but we were the only ones in the spot. Would definitely return again.

Tried out a new Mexican restaurant next to Dee Maria's in Valley Cottage. 10/10 will definitely order again. It's called Cielito Lindo. Quick and easy. I grew up and around here and wanted to give this new spot some love and it was well worth it!

Cielito Lindo is good! I was looking to grab a quick slice of pizza on the way home from the store and noticed this place next to Dee Maria's. Figuring I should try something new I went in with my wife to give this place a try. I am really glad that I did! We ordered Al Pastor, Carnitas and Steak Tacos and were not disappointed. The tacos came out piping hot, super fresh and very tasty. They were served with a green salsa verde (I am guessing) and some Smokey flavored, red, hot sauce. Both were very good and I alternated sauces between bites. The steak was slightly dry but good with fresh lime; the al pastor was very good and exactly what I expect when I think of al pastor; and the carnitas was juicy and delicious. My favorite was clearly the carnitas even though I almost alway prefer al pastor. After our tacos was had the freshest, fluffiest best churros we had ever had. When we ordered they told us it would be 5 minutes because they make them fresh. I would wait 30 minutes to have those again. I highly recommend this place and hope they can keep these high standards going because they will have no trouble getting business if they do. Es

The food tastes premade. The tacos are soggy. Guacamole is very gross, you can get better at forgery store!

Very nice place. Not the typical Tex-Mex type of Mexican restaurant. Food was very good- brisket tacos, guacamole. Service very friendly.

No frills, no flashy atmosphere -- just comida auténtica and seriously satisfying flavors. I ordered the carne asada nachos and an order of tacos al pastor, and both hit the spot perfectly. Fresh ingredients, bold flavor, and that classic street-style taco taste that instantly lifts your ánimo on a gloomy day. The nachos were loaded, cheesy, and packed with flavor, while the al pastor tacos were simple, fresh, and delicioso. And yes... we washed it all down with a Coke Zero in a glass bottle because somehow it siempre tastes better that way. Now, if you're looking for upbeat energy and polished service, este lugar probably isn't it. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced and lacked motivation. But where the service fell short, the kitchen absolutely delivered with authentic flavors and generous portions. Sometimes the best spots are the quiet little hole-in-the-wall places that let the food do all the talking.

The decor gives you that warm, colorful, lived-in Mexican restaurant feel with the artwork, the arched brick walls, and little details everywhere you look. It is the kind of place that just feels good to be in. I have tried both the Jerk Chicken Salad (on my third visit) and the Chipotle Chicken Pasta (my second visit), and honestly the pasta won for me. It was flavorful, satisfying, and just really well done. The salad looks amazing and I was so excited to try it, but it was a lot to work with and just did not hit the same way. Sometimes the pasta is just the move, and now I know. On my third visit, my friend ordered the quesadilla and the yuca fries, and those yuca fries were really great. Definitely worth ordering!! The service was warm and attentive, which always makes a difference. You can tell this place genuinely cares about the experience they are giving people. Overall, I would recommend Casa Del Sol. Just maybe skip the salad and go straight for the pasta. You can thank me later.

I ordered a non-alcoholic version of a strawberry daiquiri along with their lechòn and mofongo appetizer. Being that this is a Mexican restaurant, it is not like the savory Puerto Rican or Dominican mofongo. They used ripe plantains which surprisingly paired well with the perfectly seasoned, fork-tender pork. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at Casa Del Sol, and would dine there again. An aside note: the stalls in the restroom are TINY! I am a small person, and I had difficulty getting in and out.

Part of the meal I ate was a little dry, but that's what the excellent salsa is for, and everyone at the table is coming back. There is no booze, which is a good thing in working mens establishments playing football, and the while the drinks selection is authentic it is limited. Expect to pay fifteen bucks a head per adult, leaving plenty of opportunity for a jumbo tip. Don't go if you are stuck up.

The food is consistently good, the cocktails are well made, but the real highlight is the location. The Hudson River views are absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. In the summer, sitting outside is hard to beat. They often have live music, a fun tiki bar atmosphere, lawn games, and it's even pet-friendly, making it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends and family. During the winter, they set up heated inflatable dining domes, which create a cozy and unique experience while still letting you enjoy the waterfront views. The atmosphere is casual, lively, and welcoming. Every now and then you'll even spot some interesting people dining there--we've run into writers and storytellers, which adds to the charm of the place. Whether you're stopping by for brunch, seafood, burgers, or just drinks by the river, The Sailhouse is worth the visit in every season. It's one of our favorite waterfront restaurants in the Hudson Valley, and we highly recommend it.
