This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I am from Texas and find the flavors very familiar. I always get the enchiladas suizas, though I also like their red enchilada sauce. I have been coming here for quite some time now.. years actually but with covid and life getting in the way I hadn't made it back here in quite some time but that all changed last Friday night when I was reunited with my favorite meal and favorite sangria! Literally nothing has changed at all about fiesta Mexico and I love that! The sopa de pollo and live mariachi band were the stars of the night at Fiesta Mexico. A great spot off rt 303 if you're hankering for good tasting Mexican food and a good ambiance. Our server seemed a little discombobulated at times, brought out a couple incorrect drinks, and included cheese on a dish where no cheese or dairy was requested. I have been customer here long time. Food so perfect and best. They're not cheap on salsa and chip on table unlike Other Taco places near by. Also the food is phenomenal. We noticed Fiesta on Cinco de Mayo after wrapping up with a Lowe's Kitchen consultation. Bypassed it because it was jam-packed and didn't want to deal with that mess. But Fiesta seemed like it deserved a visit a second time around. This place screams prime real estate with a nice outdoor seating area. Stucco exterior, arches, Spanish roof tiles- to the glossy terracotta flooring and wooden ceiling beams inside- Fiesta in Orangeburg, has bold Hacienda elements. Greeting was pleasant and seated immediately. Chips are warm but thin, salsa was sweet and watery- resembling soup. Red Sangria had a nice kick and the Guacamole was a miss. Avocado tasted faint and was way too smooth to resemble Guacamole. My fish dish in creamy garlic sauce was fresh and quite tasty but was drowned in that sauce and wished it had less....way less. Hubs' Chicken for his fajitas wasn't charred as he wanted it. When he asked our server, all he said nonchalantly was, "that's how we've been doing it for the last 35 years" and shrugged his shoulders. That's it. We've been coming here for over 20 years! They make their complimentary tortilla chips in house and they are addictive! Their salsa is also delicious (I add hot sauce to mine because there's is mild). They even give you the chips and salsa with your to go orders. Their enchiladas are my favorite and it is only $10. Their burritos are around $8. Super affordable and delicious! They also have live music on certain nights! read more

I came in with high hopes and expectations. While the service was fast and the host was funny and friendly, I was disappointed by the food (though the house chips were good, and there's live music ~6). Prices were pretty average and the overall flavors were not the best. The rice was a disappointment - under seasoned - and the refried beans tasted...weird. I usually LOVE refried beans, but these had cheese on the top and the overall flavor of the beans themselves was just off. I ended up not eating them. Guacamole came with 3 of the dishes, and I thought the portion was a little skimpy. And the portions overall were small for a Mexican restaurant. If I leave feeling not 120% full from a Mexican restaurant, something's wrong . Specific notes on the dishes we ordered: 1. Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Sauce: I've had amazing mole sauce, and I've had this one. It was fine, but a really good mole sauce has extremely balanced flavors from all the ingredients (there are like 20 in mole sauce). This mole sauce had something overpowering about it, which I was disappointed by. 2. Tamales (appetizer): Good (my favorite out of all of them), but still could use more spices 3. Beef Chimichangas: It would've been good to have cheese inside because it was a little dry. 4. Chicken Fajitas: Average 5. Chicken Flautas: There was no sauce, so I would've liked the chicken to be more seasoned. It was also a little dry. read more

I went to fiesta Mexico February 15th with my aunt and uncle. We were seated immediately and soon after we were waited on by a very sweet and funny older Hispanic gentleman who looked like he had been working there since they opened their doors over 35 years ago. Then We ordered our drinks but here's the thing that impressed me the most about him I ordered a strawberry margarita with no alcohol in it. When he took my order he repeated back to us in a very pleasant Hispanic accent no liquor but he even went so far as to ask my aunt to try a sip of my drink first to make sure their wasn't any liquor in it. Now I ask you how many waiters do you know that would actually ask the parent or guardian to taste the drink before giving it to the person who ordered it. I think that's a very rare thing now days and I think he deserves to be commended for that. As for the food it was okay my quesadilla tasted a little unusual but my non alcoholic margarita was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was bright colorful and friendly almost like you were transported to a real hacienda in Mexico it was very interesting even without the live music they sometimes have on weekends they didn't have it when I went on February 15th because of the snow but i didn't mind because they had the radio that was playing Mexican music instead over all It was a very nice experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit. Luis the bartender is who you want to sit with for your meal and drinks. The food here is very good. They put good ingredients into plates. Highly recommend their steak that's grilled perfectly and wrapped around an authentic Spanish firm cheese. Today, August 11th 2021, I decided to go to Fiesta for lunch with friends since it was close and convenient, however, I was highly mistaken. I arrived there around 3pm for lunch and was told to pick wherever we'd like to sit for lunch. There were 2 people sitting at the bar, a party of 4 in the dining room, a party of 6 finishing up, 1 person sitting outside and me and 2 friends sitting in the dining room. We looked at the menu decided our drinks, appetizers, and lunch for each individual before we were asked if we want water for the table. Time went on and as 3 old friends were catching up and time goes by for all of us, but 20 minutes went by and we still had water on the table or a waiter came to our table. We sat there for 20 minutes without any service and it's extremely rude when we finally decided to walk up and leave. Yet, we find everyone at the hostess station having a conversation minding their own business besides their customers. During these difficult times, customer service is something everyone is complaining about but as a daughter of a father who works in the restaurant business there are things I have let go and not drawn attention too, however this time there was no reason to show poor customer service. The manager came chasing after me asking to have our first round of drinks on them, but it was too late, they were too occupied with the conversation huddling over the hostess station rather than the 15 people that were in their restaurant. This was disappointing to see and witness. Someone who has been out to dinner and supporting restaurant businesses I was extremely disappointed. This place has been a tradition for my family and I ever since I was little. Now many may think that may make me bias when it comes to my review but let me tell you, I love this place solely because I have yet to find a spot that makes the chilaquiles the way they do. Best chilaquiles ever in my opinion, I also can't get enough of their Pina Colada! Their buñuelo dessert is also a must have. The staff there have seen me grow throughout the years but they've been as pleasant as the first time we set foot there. I can honestly say I'm so happy to have come across this spot, it's one I will cherish forever and continue to keep tradition with. Not just because of the memories there but the food and staff as well. They have a singer and guitarist play some nights, they'll come to each table and play any Spanish songs you request, though I am not sure whether this is still currently happening due to COVID. We went to dinner here tonight. It will be the last time we eat here. The service was unremarkable - not great, not terrible, basically just indifferent and the bare minimum. The chicken enchiladas suizas with green sauce were awful. The green sauce had a very off-putting flavor, and the chicken was very chewy and not cooked properly. I took a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. The rice was dry. The beans were covered with cheese, and although they were nothing special, they were definitely the best part of the plate. This place needs to get its act together. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. Take the ride up 303 and visit Sangria's or one of the many other much better Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

It's disappointing seeing so many restaurants around here giving up their outdoor seating as it gets colder. This is the only Mexican place around that seems to care about safety!!!! Not only was the food great and the drinks but the heating lamps and outdoor area kept my friends and I comfortable. Lovely time. 10/10. I started coming here when my son was 6 years old. That's 42 years ago. How many restaurants do you know that last this long? You have to be doing something right and they do a lot right here. Fiesta Mexico is a traditional Mexican restaurant where you are greeted warmly, service is excellent, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun. There are 2 separate areas - the bar that also has tables & the regular sit down section to the left. On weekends they have 2 guitar strumming musicians walking throughout who sing at your table beautiful songs. When the weather is warmer (and this pre-dates Covid) the front patio is filled with tables surrounding a lit up fountain. No matter whether you're in or out, this family run establishment is an upper. I brought a friend here on Friday night and she's coming back with her family next weekend. Her only complaint is why I didn't tell her about this place before. I hear that a lot when I bring friends. It's just a very sweet spot where you can relax, have a fun experience and prices are extremely reasonable. Just to remind you - 42 years and never a disappointment. read more

Came here for lunch since I was nearby at a job site. Menu is very basic not much to choose from. First thing i looked for was tacos and it was ground beef or chicken nothing else(oh and tilapia). Lunch menu is $7 a plate but for the price i didnt expect anything great. Service was great ill give them that. I got the beef enchilada and it came out within 5 minutes. Looked like a frozen meal. My entree came with rice, salad and refried beans with cheese on top. I loved the refried beans with cheese, it added flavor to beans. $11. My boyfriend and his family love the Aguacate Relleno. Which is half avocado stuffed with seafood salad (shrimp, imitation crabmeat). Today he ordered me the Sopa de Mariscos / Acapulco Style. I loved this dish. I enjoy Mediterranean, so this dish was more up my alley. It was seafood soup made with chopped clams, shrimp and crab meat. Staff was polite and attentive. Came here on Thursday afternoon. Ordered some Tacos al Pastor and I knew something was wrong from the moment they asked me if I wanted the meat to be beef or chicken. I am from Guadalajara, Mexico so I know what a real taco al pastor should taste and this was awful. Food was bland, no color and no salt. Table salsa tasted like ketchup. Rice was dry and bland.
