The speakeasy atmosphere is outstanding--walking through the iconic red phone booth feels like stepping into another era, only with much better bourbon. Victoria was an absolute rockstar. She took some fantastic photos of our group (which is no small feat after a couple of perfectly made Manhattans), anticipated everything we needed, and somehow managed to make us feel like regulars on our first visit. Speaking of Manhattans... they're exactly the way we like them: balanced, boozy, and dangerously easy to order "just one more." Pair that with a great cigar, comfortable seating, and an atmosphere that somehow feels both upscale and relaxed, and you've got one of the best spots in Miami to unwind. We came for a drink. We stayed for the cigars. We left wondering if we should install a red phone booth at home. We'll definitely be back--and hopefully Victoria will still be there to remind us that "one more Manhattan" is always a questionable life decision.

When I yelped Cigar Lounges, I found a handful of places that looked a bit snooty. I called ahead and found that City Cigar didn't have a dress code and welcomed anyone in that "wore clothes". She held down the fort and ran the entire cigar lounge by herself. The lounge has a huge collection of cigars and and massive bar. She was lighting cigars, mixing drinks, and chatting with all the customers. Definitely some of the best customer service we received in a long, long time. Dede made a couple recommendations on cigars and was able to accurately match each person with a cigar they would like. She was also able to pair our cigars perfectly with a drink. I also loved how Dede knew we were here to have a good time and automatically made our drinks a double. Pro Tip: Dede makes one of the best old fashions I've ever had. Make sure you order one from her. The lounge itself was spacious, with plenty of TVs around the store. The seats were comfortable and arranged in groups of 4. There was also seating outside, which pretty much all the other customers took advantage of because of the nice weather. Our group smoked 6 cigars total, with 6 whiskey drinks.
